I don't mean to be rude, but does anyone else think that this argument has gone on too long? I think the consensus is, if you like chikorita, use it, if not, don't. I'm just saying, it is getting to the point where it should probably have its own thread.

Sounds good. I usually just keep getting new pokemon throughout the game- and every time i finish, I end up with a whole brand new team~ Although, I do limit the amount of times I can repeat a typing, that bein no more than two. (Ex. Using Venusaur & Gengar in gen 1/gen 3 remake)

I suppose my unpopular opinion would be about gen 2/gen 4 remake- Most people agree that Chikorita is the worst of the three starters. I, on the other hand, prefer to use Chikorita- for ingame use at least. I think ingame teams arent so much about being top-notch as much as it is consisted of...
