    CAP 37 - Part 5 - Ability Poll 2

Opportunist edit: I have been unpersuaded. Both of these abilities make sense, but I've teetered back to my gut instinct.

Prankster Natural Cure Thermal Exchange Opportunist Filter / Solid Rock Analytic All of these are good choices. (stakeout was the best tho)

    CAP 37 - Part 5 - Primary Ability Discussion

First off, this is a great list. It hits most of the bases and selects mostly what are probably the most popular abilities of each potential ability 'role' (eg. status immunity, defensive, switch punishment, etc.) The initial slate is very well rounded. There's a decent amount of support for...

    CAP 37 - Part 5 - Primary Ability Discussion

Submitting an ability people are probably getting sick of hearing about an an ability that hasn't seen much attention. Prankster is the poor man's combo pack of magic bounce and opportunist. Prankster+taunt is the only way for one ability to counter both boosting pokemon like bulk up great...

    CAP37 - Part 4 - Role Discussion

2 Immunities is fairly impressive, and dark/flying is a bit of a sleeper offensive combination, with flying covering fighting type dark resists and the two sharing no 'wasted' super-effectiveness on the same type. Dark resists both the common knock-off and the ghost types mandated by hazard...

    CAP 37 - Part 3 - Typing Poll 1

Dark Rock / Flying Dark / Flying Grass / Flying Water / Flying Dragon / Flying Steel / Flying Flying Beak blast implies that this pokemon is a bird or has some beak-like appendage. Gamefreak traditionally strays from pure flying for pokemon, and made an exception for tornadus due to it's 'wind...

I also just realized that nukemons may be better suited to doubles where spread moves exist and can add to priority and multihit in the 'useful' move categories. The biggest issue right now is probably centralization and adding doubles strats and chaos may lighten that somewhat.

NUKEMONS Are you a fan of atomic chess? Do you enjoy highly volatile, fast-paced metagames? If so, then this metagame may be for you. Premise: All direct damage is set to the target's current HP Rules & Questions: All direct damage is an instant knock out, like OHKO moves, unless the target...

That doesn't seem like a massive problem so long as tera reveal clause is in place. Those 8x and 16x super effective moves become 8x and 16x resists when you can just see what type is getting added to their moves and switch accordingly. eg. That crazy ursaluna physically can't damage a flying...

No, the rocks would be visible until removed, as usual. The difference is that the opponent wouldn't see you set the rocks until a turn after they were clicked, so the opponent may, for example, unknowingly switch a charizard or something in before defogging. The om does not test memory and the...

Idea I recently came up with, it uses no new mechanics but rather restricts the information both players receive. This may be difficult to code so idk if it's even feasible to implement but I may as well show it anyways. Historianmons Ever wanted to switch into your choice specs hoopa-unbound...
