It's disingenuous to Baton Pass to SwagPlay. SwagPlay literally turned matches into coinflips, and couldn't really be countered by anything except Own Tempo mons (zero of which are OU viable) or counter SwagPlay. BP does have counters in OU.
And how many of those teams put in any preparation for Baton Pass? I'm betting the answer is near zero.
What if, instead, they had no answer for say... Charizard X? Or Mega Pinsir? Those games would be match-up dependent, no?
The problem is that's the only evidence there is that BP is still broken, and everyone who talks about it tries to pretend Denis+ is a terrible (or average or low skill) player who only wins because BP is broken. Does anyone have any replays of other people using BP?

Did you even watch the replays you posted? First one the opponent makes a serious misplay switching heatran out on Deoxys-S, and gives up shortly thereafter. Second one the opponent switches in Chansey to take the Spore and forgets about Natural Cure. Third one is just completely outplayed by...
To be fair? IIRC, there has not been a Gen where Deo hasn't been uber. I don't see why that'd change this generation either.
In fact, I'm kinda weirded out that Deoxys comes down from Uber every generation to play before its inevitable ban.
Well, I guess he could set up screens like Deoxys might have? That being said, couldn't Prankster tricking Deoxys a Scarf be a viable strategy? Can't outspeed, can't Magic Coat.

You're missing my point. I am saying that if we define uncompetitive as anything that "encourages players to rely on luck to win" then we must ban Attract and Confusion as they would be uncompetitive by that definition.

What does them having a counter have anything to do with them fitting the definition of "encourages players to rely on luck to win?" Whether there is a counter to that or not in no way affects the fact that they do by very definition encourage players to rely on luck to win.
