Please explain what physical attacker not called Baxcalibur you are switching in on Dondozo.

Metagame SV OU Metagame Discussion v2 [Update on Post #5186]

Dozo already beats physical attackers, how would Scald affect their viability if they lose to it anyway? (And even then, the few physical attackers that can overwhelm it like band Bax and Tera Dark / Fighting Gambit only realistically leave it a single turn to get a Scald burn off, so they're...

Metagame Terastallization Tiering Discussion, Part II [CLOSED FOR DLC]

Just wanna point out that Tera Blast is way stronger than Hidden Power because it also gives you STAB. We're not talking about 60 BP vs 80 BP, we're talking about 60 BP vs 120 BP, and that is kind of huge. Hidden Power was really only for 4x weak mons most of the time, but Tera Blast lets you...

Announcement np: SV OU Suspect Process, Round 5 - King's Dead

I really gotta disagree with the notion that Gholdengo is the most problematic thing in OU right now. The problem is pretty clearly the lack of good hazard removal availible, even with Gholdengo gone we only have one good defogger, one and a half good spinners, and Court Change which comes with...

Imprison Lando is cool but seems outclassed by Taunt Lando these days, unless you really, really want to block opposing Lando U-Turns. Still, the overall utility of Taunt seems ways more valuable than that, especially when Lando has, what, only 10% usage? So the Lando ditto is much less common.

Metagame Terastallization Tiering Discussion, Part II [CLOSED FOR DLC]

Personally, I'm leaning towards supporting a ban on Tera, and my reasoning is pretty simple: In my opinion, Tera makes the game kinda miserable and unfun to play. When playing in a tier with Tera, every single turn you have to worry about a potential Tera fucking you over and leading to you...

Metagame SV OU Metagame Discussion v2 [Update on Post #5186]

Moltres is cool, just wanna point out that you 100% need to slot in Brave Bird on your moveset, probably over U-Turn, otherwise you straight-up lose to CM Enamorus, trust me, I actually tested this with someone. You don't even need the Moonblast SpA drop, if you CM on the switch, Moltres's...

Sorry, don't want to be annoying about this but gotta correct you here, you're using no bulk on both mons and when you actually invest, then: 0 Atk Tera Normal Mew Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Great Tusk: 58-69 (13.3 - 15.8%) -1 0 Atk Tera Normal Mew Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def...

I don't really agree with this, honestly. The only thing Great Tusk does that is extremely valuable and almost impossible to find elsewhere is Rapid Spin, which yes, is pretty amazing, but it's very feasible and not too hard to build a team that doesn't need hazard removal, especially with...

Apologies for the double post, but: Landorus-T -> A I feel like Landorus-T is being severely underestimated in this metagame, and I absolutely think it has very good reason to be used over Great Tusk. I don't know how good Scarf / SD sets are, all I know is that I've been using the ol'...

Worth noting that if you don't run a physical move on your Fire/Flying type, CM Enamorus just beats you, so it feels super mandatory to run that But yeah, not sure about Talonflame but Moltres definitely seems like a good mon, its typing in combination with Flame Body really helps, it deals...

Curious about Ting-Lu's placement, with 2 of the most powerful special attackers being Fairy-types, and the other big one being able to chip it with U-Turn, not to mention the presence of Samurott which acts both as competition as a Spikes setter and a factor in making Spikes in general more...

clearly if more people watched the Reverend video where he loses to like 4 Quick Claw procs in a row, the results would be reversed
