I'm fairly certain Coil's accuracy boosts Stone Edge to perfect accuracy as well. The 25 BP difference is also pretty critical, especially considering Zygarde's [below] average Attack stat.

Although Hail has pretty much lost any viability, I would say the weather nerf actually helps Abomasnow if you want to use him for his Mega Evo for a Trick Room team and not for Hail, that way the other teammates don't have to deal with residual damage.

I usually don't think of Politoed as a forced slot space for the sake of aiding teammates, but more like a Pokemon with an ability that powers up its STAB by x1.5, making it a powerful threat on its own.
