They could have made that Staraptor but Staraptor doesn't really have great defensive stats.

You misunderstood what I said...I asked why wouldn't anyone use those attacks on a Physical Gyara since they didn't have a Physical/Special spread in the 3rd gen.

Ew no. If all attacks last gen were physical/special (depending on the nature), why not use Fire Blast/IB/Thunderbolt?

Giga Impact. They finally thought of making a physical Hyper Beam!<Phail. IMO, Nasty Plot and Aura Sphere are the best new attacks. It's also great that they have Psycho Cut.

Pinsir IMO. It gets X-Scissor which is an exellent STAB move coupled with Mold Breaker so it can now EQ levitators like Gengar and Bronzong.

Wrong. Swellow can't switch in on an Ice Punch.

Dragonite has overall the best defenses for a Dragon wall, I always wanted to try that but I never had the time to. Also, I noticed that Hitmonlee has a great Special Defense, Hitmonchan has a great Defense but they both have crappy HP. And IMO, the only useful Electric walls are Zapdos, Raikou...

Naive Life Orb Azelf is the best IMO. It can Nasty Plot, Special Sweep and Explode.

Not a counter. Corsola OHKOs Roserade with Explosion. Anyways, I can't really think of a Counter to Corsola at the moment. I ran calcs for almost every wall I could think of and they're all OHKO'd by Explosion. o_o I'm probably just not thinking straight.
