That T-wave nerf is very much appreciated in my books. You could just spam it with anything unless the opponent had a ground or electric type. Maybe a bit controversial, but I think it's fair.

I think a Pokemon you might want to consider Galvantula. The main reason is because it can set up Sticky Web (along with T-wave) and then Volt Switch out into Heracross. I don't know if this is useful or not, but I think it's worth trying.

Pretty decent rain team, but it definitely needs some improvement like you said. I think more type coverage is definitely needed on the team, but still some way you can recieve support. Blastoise carries rapid spin and Rain Dish, so it's great for support. There are also two Swift Swim users...

For a first team, it's at best decent. It definitely needs some work. I'd recommend fixing the problem with Feraligatr and Sharpedo. Their playstyles and movesets are way too similar. I'd get rid a Sharpedo for a different mega, probably Mega Ampharos. That's all I got.
