np: SV OU Suspect Process, Round 5 - King's Dead

No offense taken, I get where you’re coming from. I’m not really that good at the game (1600s tops), I just wanted to share my opinion on the matter. I don’t vote for suspect tests because I feel with enough grinding anyone can meet the reqs, so I leave my vote up to better players than me. I am...

np: SV OU Suspect Process, Round 5 - King's Dead

I feel as if gambit is manageable, HOWEVER! Gambit is a very centralizing mon, forcing you to run a check. This gets into the “does the mon limit play enough for a ban” deal. I think that with common mons like Zama-H, Tusk, and Iron Valiant still in the tier, you end up with a check anyway. I...

Resource SV OU Post-HOME Viability Ranking Thread [ Final Update: Post #280 ]

Why did Zamazenta-H get suspect tested when it isn’t even A+ tier? There are eleven mons ranked higher than Zamazenta-H. So logically, there should have been a suspect test/ban of Kingambit, Dragapult, Iron Valiant, Great Tusk, Gholdengo, Glowking, Garganacl, Enamorus-I, Zapdos, Ting-Lu, and...

    Post your searing hot takes

Pancakes are finger food if they don’t have syrup or jam or something on them (syrup is bad btw), Multi Grain Cheerios are unironically the best tasting kind of cheerios, and Ryan Reynolds is not that hot.

    SV OU Sneasler Pivot Offense

Why do you have protective pads on Sneasler? The only real contact move issues are Static and Baneful Bunker, but Sneasler isn’t staying in on zap and pex. Sneasler is really frail, so maybe run assault vest or sash to help with poison touch chip?

    SV Ou Bulky Offense

im pretty sure you have to wait two weeks to post again. This thread is probably going to be locked soon, so maybe instead of making a new post, edit the first post and put “UPDATED” in the title. I made the same mistake too. (Also, if you really want to go slow, don’t use lagging tail on corv...

    SV OU Decidueye Hazard Stack

Long reach —> Overgrow on decidueye. It only really avoids rough skin, helmet, and flame body from volc, but volc outspeeds so why stay in to attack?

SV OU Specs Hatterene Bulky Offense (peak ELO 1840, #137 on ladder)

Dang, this is a great team! I haven’t used hatt since I used AV hatt near the start of the gen, and tbh felt like it majorly fell off. This time gives hatt some time to shine until the hazard setting moves are here. Also, major kudos for that peak. I’ve been playing showdown for nearly a year...

SV OU AV Special Dragonite Slow Offense Peak #1 2067

great team! no shadow ball on ghold is wack, but it’s a great anti-meta set. (also happy to see an actual good player using low kick gambit.)

SV OU ALATAR: Magic Room of the Future (1900+ Peak)

this might be the most fire team I have ever seen. feeling like a chi-yu overheat. now all we need is the 1900s wonder room team lol.

SV OU AV Pex + CB Dragapult Balance Team (1780 peak)

1LDK, doesn’t it need 52 attack ev’s and gunk shot? :blobpex:

SV OU Maid for hire? A setup sweep HO ft. a dumb Kingambit set.

So I swear that every single ban gets rid of a key element of one of my teams. *sigh*. Well, after having to make new teams twice, I finally found one I liked. And it is centered around these two guys: :azumarill: :breloom: also it’s called maid for hire because it’s centered around...
