According to the first post in this thread , reflect type should fail if used against a typeless previously fire type pokemon. but as shown in this replay reflect type doesn't fail when used against the arcanine that became typeless due to burn up.

You can get cyndaquil who learns burn up by level up ingame through the island scan feature. source

According to the first post in this thread, burn up should make the user typeless after use. but as shown in the last turn of this battle burn up currently makes fire types into normal types instead of typeless.
