    If they had given it fire blast/blizzard/hydro pump Gavantula would be pretty awesome, but they didn't. It has good speed and decent SpA but even with a 91% accurate thunder it's a little underwhelming. Still, as many others have said, i could see it being a good UU pokemon.

    On any special based set HP fighting looks increasingly attractive as it hits nattorei and empoleon, 2 of the 3 pokemon that resist kingdra's stab (and who uses shedinja?), who would normally cause problems for kingdra.

    120BP including stab. So it's really 80BP *1.5 Maybe you know this, but if you thought it was as strong as CC it's really not.

    Rotom-A may be gone, but we got 4 new ghost types pokemon to work with. Desukan Pure ghost, The water/ghost pokemon, The chandelier fire/ghost pokemon, and a ground/ghost something or other pokemon.

    This could easily stop leads that try to outspeed and taunt/SR first turn. Taunt+Encore could force switches, assuming it's possible to encore a move that failed due to taunt.

    I like Flame/Toxic orb sub set. Obviously it's going to be losing health quickly, so wish passing is nice, but you can sub up and abuse facade, which still hits most pokemon hard, and it has more power than a LO set.

    Specially defense heracross with RestTalk bulk up? Not to mention heracross is faster, so non-banded versions won't really care.

    Yes, but unless heracross has already killed something, it can easily smash you on a switch if the player predicts well.

    While I agree that Sub+3 Attacks is much more reliable and is much more useful in many situations, SD Guts heracross has the ability to crush near everything in the tier, and while much riskier if it's counters are gone it will rip teams apart.
