I have a question. If I trap a Pokemon in with fire spin or magma storm. Can I switch out and have them still be trapped?

Yes. Currently I am using the same set that you posted except I use thunder wave instead of HP electric for more bulky power.

If your opponent gets a stat down, their main choice is to switch. This can be used to your advantage if you need to set up, use pursuit on them, or have stealth rock down.
