Have you checked it's IVs yet? I'm not so sure that Hidden Power is very useful on Darkrai, but it's cool to at least try and get good IVs for the sake of getting good special attack and speed.

Just keep resetting if you get a bad nature. Unless you've already saved your game that is. In that case, you're pretty much screwed.

Thanks for the advice. Started running a Lead-Gross instead though, as you say, people expect the Flinch abuse from Jirachi. Metagross makes a good lead that can actually survive. If you can get SR up, he can survive until later and rip a whole in someone with explode.

Aerodactyl is the lead I normally use, but I've been considering Scarf Jirachi to flinch base speed 130 pokemon to death before they set up Stealth Rock. Is the flinch rate enough to make this a viable strategy?
