If i swords dance 3 times, then batton pass it to a Toxic Boost Zangoose, and it successfully gets poisoned, is the toxic boost ignored or is that a +7?

upon multiple testing on PO i have a greater concern with bug than Steel bar Skarmory. although its a pretty well balanced team and its created many rage quits. yet to test it against fighting but im sure that will go pretty well too as long as i dont stuff anything up
