Sorry, that doesn't seem to answer my question...
But I have noticed that I would see the message "(Own Pokemon) avoided the attack" when the opponent Pokemon uses moves that have less than 100% accuracy, such as Rock Slide (90% accuracy). And that occurs while none of the Pokemon in battle...
Sometimes, while battling, if the opponent Pokemon's attack would not hit my Pokemon, I can get the messages "(Opponent)'s attack missed" or "(Own Pokemon) avoided the attack".
How does the 2nd message occur?
I believe these gems would power up the moves by a lot.
Precious gemstones have so often been portrayed as having mysterious and supernatural powers... like in Radiant Silvergun, as well as an old novel I didnt bother to read x)
Let's say my Jolteon has a speed of 394. My opponent's Jolteon also has a speed of 394. Since both speed stats are the same, who gets to perform their move first?

It actually worked on my sister's laptop. The resource-demanding game it couldn't play before worked after we used that app on it.
Substitute pretty much shuts down most of my Pokemon. Not being able to OHKO foes with my high Sp. Atk Pokemon would mean my Pokemon would be OHKO'd instead, with their abysmal defensive stats.
If there are other moves that I would call gamebreaking (at least in my case), it would be...
