Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
The reason I had Rain Dish was because of the prominence of rain teams, but I will try out Liquid Ooze. I don't really go up against Pokemon with draining moves, much less send Tentacruel in against them, because the other pokes usually take care of them.
I'll try out that Heatran. With Kyurem-B, I'll keep it over Salamence, and the set I'm currently testing is Naive with LO, 140 Attack, 116 Spec Attack, and max Speed. The set is Ice Beam, Dragon Claw, Fusion Bolt, and HP Fire.
Thanks for the rate!
Today I bring you a team that features Kyurem-B, which has fairly recently dropped down to OU. It seems like it would do well in OU, with decent stats all around (including its huge Attack). The team was sort of built around it, although its coverage isn't that great, but the rest of the team...
What's up Smogon, it's been a while since my last RMT and I've been testing out this team recently with mixed results. I wanted to try some new stuff and some uncommon stuff, and so far, this is what I got.
Donphan @Leftovers | Sturdy
Impish | 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Rapid Spin | Stealth...
I was actually thinking of putting Starmie on the team as a spinner, but I really can't find anything to take out, though I've been leaning towards Infernape. I'm not really sure on any other spinners so far, although I suppose Tentacruel would be a viable option as well, considering the fact...
Since everyone's been saying to remove Gengar, I suppose I will, considering the fact that you guys are probably better than me. I tried out all the replacements (Rotom-W, Conkeldurr, and Jirachi) with some strange results. Jirachi seemed to be dead weight too much, so I took that out. Rotom-W...
Hello once again, fellow battlers. I've been using this team for some time now, and it's probably just me, but I can't pick out what's keeping this team from laddering a bit more. Not that it's doing bad - the team functions well, just not as well as I'd like it to. With that, here's the team...
As for this, it's simply a test set, and it hasn't been all too bad so far, so I may just end up running the 252 Speed EV's but stick with the Calm nature. Not sure yet.
I actually am testing out the Scizor for now, and so far, it's been working great, so I'll probably edit the RMT either...
I don't mind having half of my team choiced. It's been working quite well so far. As for the Sub-variant Magnezone, I don't need it because this is mainly for getting rid of opposing Steel-types quickly and easily. Thunder Wave and Gyro Ball are on there for Pokemon that are already statused or...
I'll try both of these out, but I'm a bit unsure as to whether I'll be changing anything. Ferrothorn has been working great defensively, and the power that Dragonite has been bringing with the type coverage and priority has been amazing. If I do change Dnite to Scizor, I will also change the...
I've been playing OU for a little while now, and I've decided to post my team for some help.
1. Rotom-W
@Choice Specs
AB-Levitate
Timid
4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
~Volt Switch
~Hydro Pump
~HP Ice
~Trick
Rotom-W is a typical lead for me. He counters a lot of stuff and can...
The main problem that plagues the team still is the fact that you have no hazards or a spinner. Unless you lead with Tornadus, his Sash could be broken by Rocks, which is why a spinner is important as well. My suggestion is Donphan>Lanturn for several reasons: He can absorb the Electric-type...
