UUFPL is set up as an auction-based team tournament, nearly identical to UUPL, except it gives some lesser known talents of the UU Community a chance to be selected as part of this experience. While nobody is restricted from joining, the goal is to open up the community to a team tour where more members can participate, joining vets and rookies in a unique experience unlike any other!

*SV Districts UU is the 3rd SV UU tier, but the UUPL restrictions are very relaxed, so that you can still play in this slot if you are a UUPL player. However, the standard tier restrictions still prevent you from playing SV UU in this slot if you have played an SV UU game in UUPL by end of UUPL Week 3. Please note this tier has very special rules so it's not simply SV UU, it's a bit of something else.

** DPP UU will undergo several changes this tournament, as follows: Sleep inducing moves are banned (aka "sleep moves clause"). Clefable is banned. Smeargle is unbanned.
*** ADV UU will be unofficially testing Kadabra and Smeargle! As a result, Kadabra and Smeargle will be unbanned
**** GSC UU will undergo several changes this tournament, as follows: Baton Pass is banned, Smeargle is unbanned
***** RBY UU will be unofficially testing Hypno, Lapras, and Articuno. As a result, Hypno, Lapras, and Articuno are all unbanned for this tour. Please note that all other standard RBY UU rules apply (i.e. partial trapping moves are, for the moment, still legal). Despite the sprite above, Smeargle is not unbanned in RBY UU.

:Flamigo: District 5: The Three Flamigos will be managed by seraphz sayyonara and Ninja
:Diancie: District 7: Diancie is Unbreakable will be managed by a fairy and Rasche
:Silicobra: District 8: Silicobra Kai will be managed by Slip and jackuzzler
:Spidops: District 9: Black Ops Spidops will be managed by Lizzie and Petros
:Lokix: District 10: Gilderoy Lokix will be managed by Jeza.p and dunoks


  • There will be no retains this year again. The goal is to diversify the team environments and allow for new interactions within the UU community to happen.
  • Each Manager starts with 150k credits. Only ONE manager can retain themselves.
  • The minimum number of players per team is 15 (12 starters + 3 substitutes).
  • There is no set maximum number of players per team.
  • Tournament banned or circuit banned users are not allowed to sign up.
  • Players already in UUPL are encouraged to sign up for UUFPL, but they cannot play/sign up for SV UU for UUFPL (except for the SV Districts UU above).
  • Additionally, players in UUPL cannot play a tier in UUFPL for which they have played at least one game for in UUPL by close of UUPL Week 3 (UUPL Weeks 4+ do not matter for this).
  • While current managers in UUPL are not allowed to manage in UUFPL, they are allowed to sign up as players in UUFPL with no limitations if they are not playing in UUPL.

Your self-retain price is a base 10k to start, and goes up based on the following (caps at 20k):
  • +2k if you are playing in UUPL
  • +2k if you were a player or manager this last UUBD
  • +2k if you played and won a game in this last UUBD or UUWC
  • +2k if you had more than 100 points in the 2024 UU Circuit
  • +2k if you had more than 2581 points in the 2024 UU Circuit

Signups will close in approximately 2 weeks (expect March 23th), the exact time to be announced when the draft date and time has been determined. Stay tuned for announcement of the draft date.
