With PUBD entering an intense playoffs and nearing its end, this thread serves as a way for the eliminated teams and players to post any cool teams, sets, or ideas they've used or wanted to use throughout the duration of the tournament! Good luck to everyone in playoffs!

Unfortunately, the goletts season is over, but at least I get to drop my teams now! Super fun tour still, and we really showed up the last week. Anyways, here are my teams.

SV Teams
Band Bruxish BO vs Feliburn (L)

:bruxish: :decidueye-hisui: :florges: :rhydon: :bombirdier: :rotom-heat:
https://pokepast.es/15d8110c6d7600d1
So this team was built around the idea of band bruxish, and overall went really well in testing, but it has a really rough Floatzel MU specifically, as well as an opposing bruxish weakness in my opinion. I learned the hard way this week that floatzel outspeeds scarf hecid by one point x_x Anyways, this is personally my least favorite team I built as it is the one with the most glaring weakness imo. It can pop off in other matchups, but I would personal rework this team to have a better matchup into the flip turners.

Toxic Skunk+Guno Balance vs Avarice (W)
:skuntank: :articuno-galar: :mudsdale: :rotom-heat: :tatsugiri: :porygon2:
https://pokepast.es/323e0aa875ddbc6e
On the other hand, this is my personal favorite SV team I built this tour. It looks weird, but it's really effective and this team may have one of the best W/L record among all my current SV teams between this tour and ssnl. The idea is that skuntank looked amazing into Avarice scout, and that toxic skunk specifically happens to weaken nearly all of the articuno-galar answers pretty consistently. So i started with those two, and then just built as solid of a defensive core with hazards and removal from there. It turned into this, and this team has given me some newfound respect for scarf tatsugiri. It is actually quite goated, and you oftentimes clean with tera dragon pulse lategame. Porygon2 is such an underrated tank in balance structures in my opinion, and this team is a good showcase of what porygon2 can offer on balance. TLDR, toxic things with skuntank and sweep with Guno later.

Curselax+Floatzel Bulky Offense vs Vy (L)
:floatzel: :bellibolt: :decidueye-hisui: :uxie: :golurk: :snorlax:
https://pokepast.es/c15e0d064af9ea82
This team I still am a big fan of despite losing with it. The idea is that Band Floatzel looked strong into Vy's scout, and I wanted to buid a bellibolt+floatzel bulky offense based off that. Curselax ended up getting added for another fire and ice resist, special tank, and wincon. This acts as my florges answer as well, as it can tank even specs florges moonblasts. The only reason I lost with this vs Vy was because he had this absolutely disrespectful tera water rotom-heat and it wrecked my floatzel in a matchup where floatzel would've done SO MUCH ;_; but anyways, I am really high on Snorlax and think its underrated, so if you want a snorlax team give this a try!

SM Teams
Subtox Kang vs Hacker (L)

:kangaskhan: :silvally-fairy: :jellicent: :mudsdale: :sandslash-alola: :aurorus:
https://pokepast.es/ba54a0e2d62333f5
I honestly think this team is too weak to vic, which I wish I realized before game. Anyways, the idea is subtox kang looked good into Hacker's scout, and it can weaken opp team's silvally-fairy answers and sandslash-alola answers. I thought hail damage+toxic+entry hazards could make it really easy for silvally and sandslash to clean lategame. However, I think jellicent and mudsdale specifically let too many threats in too easily such as vicreebel, and this makes the team a little weak defensively imo. It did really well in testing but Hacker brought heat and I took an L.

Subcoil Eel vs sugar ovens (W)
:absol: :jellicent: :clefairy: :primeape: :ferroseed: :eelektross:
https://pokepast.es/ff7b5ce62986b8d6
This is my favorite SM team I built this tour, and it is based around one of my favorite underrated threats, subcoil eel. Looking at sugar ovens scout, I felt like it was a great opportunity to bring it, because it looked really strong into the scout. I actually built the original version of this team during PUPL last year, but it had regriock over ferroseed. I think this version is better, because the original with regirock makes it very weak to leafeon and other grass types. This version with ferroseed is able to handle leafeon much better, though you need to be wary of victreebel with this team also. usually, I try to nail it with jellicent on a predicted switch, purposefully sac something to get it low and pursuit it with absol for eel later. This also features offensive z trick room jellicent, which actually can synergize well with eelektross/ferroseed, and also serves as a decent answer for stuff like primeape, gurdurr, alolaslash, etc.

I helped with SM prep and SV prep, but I didn't build full teams for anyone and let them have their freedom still lol, but these are all the teams I built. I'm glad I slotted myself in both SM and SV, because I kinda love them both equally rn. I hope I can bo3 in PUPL or get a chance to play both tiers still in pupl! Until then, good luck to all remaining in playoffs.

Time to drop my teams:

SV (W)

:Florges-Blue: :Qwilfish: :Rhydon: :Articuno-Galar: :Decidueye-Hisui: :Sandslash-Alola:

https://pokepast.es/c1dfe7fbf003be53

This was my w5 against Bleahey and it's a strong hazard stack balance. The idea of the team is to try and stack spikes with Qwilfish and rely on its pivot to very balanced defensive options to chip your opponent and clean up with Florges. Guno serves as a defog deterrent and makes removing hazards difficult. Sslash knocks everything and serves as your guno/brav-h switch in and can clear hazards for you whilst making progress. My fav set is the Double Dark Hecid, who can finish things off with prio and be an absolute menace with Tera Dark Koff. This team is very strong I think!

RBY PU- (W)
:Abra: :Rapidash: :Golduck: :Seaking: :Primeape: :Pidgeot:

https://pokepast.es/5445e29e2abe3eb3

This team focuses on abusing the fastest mons in the tier to overwhelm your opponent quickly. Primeape, can spam fast stoss and chip away and Pidgeot serves as a nice predic switch in for Nidoking and surprise him with mirror move EQ. Abra Lead serves as anti golduck lead tech and was a mid set innovation from Sabelette. Seaking can clean up the endgame very nicely too with Agility.

:Magmar: :Golduck: :Pidgeot: :Nidoking: :Porygon: :Rapidash:

https://pokepast.es/be96b0b137efc0fe

This team focuses on a more balanced switch heavy playstyle with Porygon able to spam paralysis in order to enable Sub Nidoking to go to town. Note, you can't build any gen1 pu team without the core of Golduck and Rapi right now. They're kinda just busted!

Adv PU (L)

:Marshtomp: :Duskull: :Minun: :Clamperl: :Dragonair: :Seviper:

https://pokepast.es/86e57f2f587f7b94

S/O to Aurist for helping build this one. This team relies on spamming paralysis with Nair and Minun to enable Clamperl to clean. I let Clamperl get too chipped to make a difference in the game and Zoowi played v well. Seviper has a cool endure set for late game cleaning with Salac berry and was a really really cool set in practice. Shame I didn't get to show it off.

SM PU (L)

:Simisear: :Jellicent: :Drampa: :Eelektross: :Mudsdale: :Primeape:

https://pokepast.es/a2cd7b49c797c960

This was a cool team which was primarily balance with Drampa as your main breaker. However, we overestimated its ability to play with no removal and got punished hard for that. In hindsight, this team would have benefitted from Silvally with Defog somewhere to clean up those hazards. I still think the team is okay but I got a bit mauled on this one. OTR Jelli is cool too.

GGS !!!

Since our season is over here are the teams i played during this tournament.
The tier i played is really funny, i never played bw pu before but i'll be glad to play the tier again in the future.
All these teams are built by me, i received some help from my friends Terracotta and Montreal in some weeks + my teammates helped me with test games and some tips.

BW PU (click for replays and pastes)

Week 1 vs Tack (W) :
:rampardos: :murkrow: :volbeat: :zweilous: :stunfisk: :seviper:
This was my debut game! I had no idea about bw pu before so i cooked something which i was comfortable using, rampardos + tailwind was the best option. I think i played this game pretty good, not much to say.

Week 2 vs LpZ (L) :
:arbok: :monferno: :Mr. Mime: :Torterra: :Clefairy: :Huntail:
This might be the worst team i built and I played this game so bad, i didn't have a good team this week so i just loaded a random one between the few i built. I had encore on mr mime and i didn't use it against torterra which would helped a lot, also i forgot about huntail ability, switching huntail on frillish wisp was probably better than monferno.
Game was not easy but i think that was winnable, mb for being bad ig.
As soon as i saw pikachu i was surprised, didn't think that was allowed but thanks because i stole the pikachu tech for next games.

Week 3 vs Cow (W) :
:duosion: :machoke: :stunfisk: :togetic: :tentacool: :rampardos:
TOGETIC THE GOAT.
I really like this team, i think that's really strong.
Game was overall decent, i almost choked at the end because i played around my worst case scenario which was cb monferno but clicking signal beam there was unnecessary. My excuse is that i was really nervous after losing the previous week.

Week 4 vs EviGaro (W) :
:trubbish: :purugly: :pikachu: :torterra: :frillish: :simisear:
I had a great matchup there but i didn't play it at my best, tspikes were good af and instead of placing those i sacked trubbish kek.
However, my winning path was clear EviGaro didn't give me gg back which was kinda rude but i calced after game and
+2 252 Atk Iron Fist Monferno Fire Punch vs. 248 HP / 160+ Def Frillish: 127-150 (40.5 - 47.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
so she got almost max roll into almost min roll, that didn't change much because
+2 252 Atk Iron Fist Monferno Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Simisear: 162-192 (55.6 - 65.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
so she had to take 2 good rolls with fire punch + me not getting the roll with pikachu espeed + me not getting hp electric roll (which was very low) + eventually hit hydro pump if that golduck had hpump over surf.
I don't feel like i lucked the win at all.

Week 5 vs ninjadog (L) :
:raticate: :stunfisk: :tentacool: :jumpluff: :bronzor: :mr. mime:
This team was fine and i think i played ok until turn 21 (i got baited by calc which counted poison dmg too) if i sent raticate there i would have probably won. Instead of doing this i missplayed and went for a different winning path which was fine but it was a 50% and i lost the coinflip
252+ Atk Guts Raticate Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Swoobat: 127-150 (46.1 - 54.5%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
I feel bad for this lost because i was so close, also heat wave crit on bronzor kinda fucked me but i also dodged stone edge on jumpluff so i can't really complain about luck - that was 100% my fault for this lose.

Semifinals vs ninjadog (W) :
:arbok: :raticate: :torterra: :bronzor: :rapidash: :pikachu:
I tried my best in this game, i had different sets / techs in mind. I really like the concept behind this team and i think i played the game good.
This was my revenge against ninjadog and our first win in semis so i was really happy after this one.

I want to thanks VyoletRayn and Theycallmephil for drafting me and introduce me to a new tier, it was a pleasure playing for vigs.
Thanks to all my teammates: so many good people in the server! I do not regret any single minute i spent tryharding for this tournament.
I tried my best to entertain all spectators with my games, hope i accomplished my goal.
Overall i'm happy with my 4-2 result and I'll try to get drafted for next PUBD (if i'll be still around) or for other tours with a BW PU slot.

Dual Monkeys core with U-turn, very fun team and the monkeys have great offensive synergy. Overheat Monferno catches surprise kills on Tangela which is very helpful. I also drew a good matchup in stall with SD Mawile.

This team did very poorly into Rotom-Frost and I misplayed Politoed, but the concept is pretty fun. A lot of status-spreading between Scald, Flame Body, etc helps Hex Drifblim clean eventually vs some teams. Politoed is a nice tank vs offense too.

This is a very basic balanced team with good synergy from all the mons. Not really much to explain here. Unfortunately I didn't play my game well and let Scarf Pig get paralyzed to death, but this is still probably the most reliable team on here.

I would generally not recommend Webs in all honesty, after testing with it many times. This one also does very poorly into Tspikes since I was not using Arbok. However, Rotom-Fan is neat and checks a bunch of mons in one slot, and was able to pull through for me in-game.

Originally built around Probo-Muk and then stopped when I realized that asa (and everyone) usually packs too many checks for Muk. However, Cro-Ursa does similar things while having a better matchup vs other stuff. This team is pretty slow so watch out for setup mons (you can use Salac Swanna in an emergency).

For SM and SS during this tour, we were mostly re-using old teams or I was modifying existing ones for the meta. For prep vs. MZ, we noticed that he's usually weak to Hail, and I built this fun offense team quickly. This team is very weak to Primeape but you can still play around it, as Rob did in his match.

Don't feel like making a huge dump post but I did build some teams for this tour that I consider very good and I want to post that for posterity, even if it'll make a future classic harder.

SM PU
:Leafeon::Lanturn::Silvally::Primeape::Regirock::Floatzel:
I wanted to try to use BU Floatzel, and usually its biggest struggle is some of the worst 4mss you've ever seen. And yeah this one still can't touch Ferroseed, but by dropping Aqua Jet and letting Primeape hit you after, it transitions the mon from "kinda shitty breaker/cleaner that gets walled by too much" to "dedicated breaker that will get revenged but has much better odds of cracking a team open". Definitely the worst of the three teams I have to share but pretty fun for a slightly unusual but mostly normal SM balance.

SM PU
:Rampardos::Hitmonchan::Persian_Alola::Torterra::Rotom-Frost::Silvally:
I enjoyed using Rampardos immensely, very cool breaker that could also consistently trade when testing vs offense. Quite probably needs to go up in the VR, hugely threatening. The rest of the team is about pivoting in after, baiting in the stuff it wants to beat, and not being too weak to anything else overall. The actual game it got used in was awful though don't watch it. And yeah I might be a touch troubled by SD Fairyvally, although Torterra is a solid check if you don't let it go too low.

BW PU
:Glalie::Simisear::Leafeon::Mr_Mime::Ursaring::Arbok:
Very fun HO with double Monferno lead + double things that don't like it around. Hugely customizable, basically every set and item has something where I strongly considered a change, the only pretty set thing is the Mime. Has no rocks but plays aggro enough that that never really felt bad. Not a perfect team but once again massively fun, and has a clear offensive direction and winpath which I think is very important in BW to not just end up with a team that doesn't really do enough to win.

RBY

Most teams used in below. Some weeks I recycled or used stuff I didn't use that was intended for previous weeks couple here may not have been loaded but was planning to use game 3. Also might be edited from original after the game, there was two weeks I had some errors in moves. There is week 2 missing because I loaded the samples. Temp was copy/paste for Horse/Duck to make building easier for the two mons required on every current PU team. Won't be providing explanation of things as majority is stuff I liked/felt good on paper, or playing around with some different things that seem to have merit (Machamp for broken Porygon). My metagame thoughts will go to RBY thread.

LOOR

https://pokepast.es/af4d3faeb2e0c8ea - triple zu vs metallica

really good team, thought metallica would be weak to specs florg based on scout and i slapped on band float for a immediate pressure for what i thought was gonna be some weird shit from him + flip turn pairs well with these slower breakers. I knew based on team styles that this would be whoever has matchup wins. unfortunately i pulled one of the worst mus i couldve for the team with guno spikes + yama. not to take away from his win, he played really well and didnt give me openings to force progress which is what you gotta do in the mu advantage. i hate altaria but only removal that fit.

https://pokepast.es/36df4633d6ce2b46

better version with brux for speed control > float. only thing stopping me from loading brux initially was i didnt want to use it again tbh. i love this team and havent rly lost with it before or after the metallica game which makes me sad that it lost

LOOR

https://pokepast.es/681f31aed71f7387 - vs xing

specs goodra looked rly good into 691 and so did heatom which worked out because the two pair rly well together. team is criminally slow but when has that ever stopped me from loading something i liked in pu. this game was insanely fun to play and honestly thought it was incredibly high level for a random b tier sub forum tour lol.

i appreciate my managers letting me focus on irl and being inactive until they wanted me to play, while i guess in that sense i was a detriment to the team overall, for personal reasons it was beneficial. thank you for having me.

played a whole season of dpp and made new stuff for every game soooo

W1 vs BeatsBlack (L)
:raichu: :golduck: :victreebel: :misdreavus: :rhydon: :purugly:

We pulled the scout and found out that Beats is a big fan of unconventional offense teams. I spent the entire next day at work trying to think of ways to stop HO leads from setting up on me too hard when the idea to use Raichu hit me. Turns out you can't use Surf and Fake Out at the same time (event + egg move), but ah well, minor setback. The rest of the team filled out in pretty standard fashion: Purugly, Purugly insurance, and then broken Victreebel and Golduck.

W2 vs Oathkeeper (W)
:metang: :ampharos: :bellossom: :armaldo: :muk: :murkrow:

What little we knew about Xiri's match history in the tier suggested a weakness to Gabite. The original draft of this team had Gabite over Metang, and then in testing I realized this team was pathetically weak to Purugly if Armaldo sustained any amount of damage. How ironic that I dropped Gabite and almost got farmed by it. Muk was there to stop Grasses, Mukrow to deal damage, and Ampharos and Bellossom to form some backbone. Got very lucky this game, but I'm still really proud of the squad!

W3 vs Drud (W)
:machoke: :glalie: :golbat: :purugly: :tangela: :electabuzz:

God, this was the most undeserved win ever. Like, I knew what I was getting into with lead Machoke, but still. Glalie is here because Spikes are broken in this tier, Electabuzz and Purugly for speed control, Tangela for some defensive backbone, and Golbat because I just thought it would be fun to use (it didn't even hit the field). Got so insanely lucky + offense is so broken that I won despite nearly binning it twice. Very cool!

W4 vs Heysup (L)
:relicanth: :glaceon: :rapidash: :metang: :tangela: :zangoose:

Testing with tony reminded me that lead choiced Relicanth is broken, and I hadn't used it yet, so why not now? Added in the Scarf Glaceon set that Beats farmed me with for speed control since I opted for a slower normal with Zangoose. Rapidash for a Fire with defensive value seemed pretty needed since Heysup is a big Sneasel user, and it padded up the speed issue a little more. Tangela helped to not get stomped by Purugly in case of Metang chip, while Metang seemed to just be a natural way to fill out the hazards slot. Got dunked by Scarf Walrein, unfortunately, but losing a speed tie after getting lucky all game is more than fair.

W5 vs JabbatheGriffin (L)
:pinsir: :golduck: :victreebel: :murkrow: :purugly: :metang:

Good attacking leads are broken in this tier, not much else to say about it. So is Golduck + Victreebel. We don't have to talk about the game though :)

Semifinals vs Heysup (L)
:xatu: :probopass: :raticate: :persian: :magmar: :golduck:

Team structure that was pretty much lifted 1 to 1 from Beats, and I rolled a pretty good matchup too! I was also a Magmar hater until I loaded up this team and saw the light. The general idea is just to trap Steels with the fast Probopass set and then beat down everything else with the double Normals. Has all the problems you'd expect out of a fishy HO, but the yield is good when you hit your marks!

Tiebreak vs Heysup (L)
:arbok: :monferno: :quagsire: :bellossom: :metang: :electabuzz:

Wanted to lead Arbok since it had scared me pretty bad a few Heysup encounters ago, and packed Monferno and Quagsire since I hadn't used them at all this tour. Was worried about the Victreebel matchup and almost put Muk on the team over Bellossom, and then decided that my scout was good enough into Vic to disincentivize bringing it. I was wrong. Rough matchup overall but I played it like shit, so it's on me!

hi

sprites have importables, these will all be probably useless after shifts anyway

:dudunsparce: :cramorant: :tauros-paldea-blaze: :copperajah: :toxtricity: :uxie: (L) + (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen9pu-818931
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen9pu-819434?p2

Week 1 was as usual daunting, I hadn't touched PU since PL just because I didn't have much of a reason to until now. I didn't have much inspiration for this week so I just slapped some stuff together that I thought looked cool. Tera Ground blast Uxie was for Rhydon/Steels to open up the game for Tox/Dudun. All of Tox Dudun and Uxie not only broke for eachother but help break for Tauros as well. Larry #choked Week 1, but TJ won with this in seasonal.

:mesprit: :zoroark: :venusaur: :rhydon: :altaria: :copperajah: (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen9pu-820266

This is when I started to realize that Rhydon was incredibly annoying, and I thought to myself, "what if I had two Rhydons". So then I typed Healing Wish into the builder and saw Mesprit. Then I thought to myself, what if my opponent thought I was a Rhydon, but then I wasn't and they got really mad. Then I saw Zoroark, and thus this team was created. We got a nice Dpulse crit on the Orth but I don't really think that mattered at all. Fire team.

:skuntank: :ambipom: :rhydon: :copperajah: :zoroark: :cramorant: (W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen9pu-825184

For semis I was building last second because nothing in builder was clicking at all. Like hours before Larry's game I threw this 6 together, didn't test, and while I was looking at it I realized that I really liked the way it looked. Xiri's scout at this point was very weak to Fight spam but last minute I realized that Skuntank folded most of his teams like laundry so I just went with that and also Zoroark + Rhydon is still OP! So we did that! Xiri and the Vigs in general had low/zero Bellibolt usage so I wanted to use Ambipom for a Knock spam core since we don't really have great Knock absorbers in the tier. Then we loaded into Bellibolt, AND Larry threw again, AND he got lucky. Go Larry.

:decidueye: :pawmot: :golurk: :arcanine: :bellibolt: :hoopa:(W)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen9pu-828582
LMAO this team is so bad I cannot believe it won. It was kind of a collab team between Chungler and I. Again though, I was hours before Larry's game and just completely blanking in the builder. I had made a team but then realized it was kind of just what I had been passing Larry all tour, so I changed it up last second into what I thought was a cool Ghost-spam VoltTurn after Bouff had mentioned they liked Ghost types into Metallica's scout and I agreed. It was 2 am and I tagged Larry with "this is bad, sorry" and he ended up winning somehow. I think that's mostly because Metallica's team looked like a balls to the wall cteam for our previous usage which we didn't bring this game.

(L)
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen5pu-818494
I will NOT. Be building BW again. I am not good at it. Well, maybe. Ninja self proclaims that the team was fine so I won't beat myself up over it. But Skrimps and I were prepping this week 1 and Skrimps proposed the idea of offensive Fire-types since he thought LpZ was weak to it and thats just how we came up with this. Spikes are OP, Marowak is great, and that was basically it.

Probably last time I do shoutouts for a tour I didn't win, but I would be doing a disservice to my teammates if I didn't acknowledge them in some fashion. The past year or two, I have lost so many playoffs as a manager, and losing back to back PU team tour finals is so incredibly demoralizing. As a manager, you can only do so much to propel your team into success. I usually signup with my friends who can get wins so they just selfbuy and I do most of the work, but this tour I didn't want to do that, and boy was it a much more enjoyable experience. It was crazy that pretty much EVERYONE we planned for we got. No exceptions. Such good vibes all around, active ass prep. Loved the mongeys.

Firstly I would like to say thank you to THE_CHUNGLER. I randomly asked you to manage and I thought we were just gonna troll around this tour until they added a custom and we both locked in. We fucking smurfed the draft for sure. I am very glad I did not have to handle GSC or ADV and I knew I was in good hands with you around. Also surprised that you just...randomly know these metas LOL. Anyway, it was awesome to see you interact more since our only other interaction was a very superficial rugl team so I would love to team again.

Bouff This is our first time teaming fr. You beat yourself up way too much than you should, you're a good player, and a good builder. Everytime you tagged for your games I never stressed, genuinely. I hope you can feel good about your record.

LustfulLice We didn't interact, I'll be honest. But watching you work your magic in GSC was insane. When Chungler brought you up I was skeptical since I hadn't seen you play anything but ZU. And you shut me up real quick. Sorry I was useless in your slot but you and Chungler held that down quite well.

Maris Bonibell Both Chungler and Bouff told me to get you, so you were on our plan since day 1. You made me more interested in RBY and honestly the way you interact with RBY and the way you prep is impressive. You daily discord name changes were also entertaining. Keep slaying!

zoowi I haven't seen you in a PU tour before, not that you haven't been, just not that I've seen. You killed the ADV slot honestly. I was usually pretty worried about your games but you really just didn't get cteamed until finals (oops). Most of your games were quite clean and I think you have a knack for ADV PU. Hopefully you get to cook up some SV in PL! Sorry if I armchaired you too hard!

Hacker Last PUPL, you were a failed nom...tbh. Gum nominated you expecting you to get upbid and I was annoyed LOL but obviously I'm very glad that worked out. You're someone I can consider a good friend here and you're a great person to be around. I'm glad I got to start you for a full season and that you've made your mark in the PU scene!

BeatsBlack skrimps Putting this shout out together because I remember in Pranksters I told you guys we would team one day. I told Chungler first day that we made our server that I wanted you both. Having you both made me feel a lot better about our prep in BW and DPP, you guys are pretty much savants in prep. Would gladly team with you guys again. Sorry you didn't get that many games Skrimps, blame that on the rest of the managers letting us get 3k ninjadog.

TJ Sorry for coming off strong at the start of the tour. Idk if this was your first team tour being back but you killed it! I'm very glad you ended up interacting more as the tour went on and your input was very much appreciated. Fun to see you competing in PU again and I hope you'll stick around, I'm sure you will!

Larry Another person I met last PL. I'm glad we got to met and you're someone else I can consider a good friend. You're super fun to talk to and banter with, sorry for sabotaging some of your games. You're a fantastic player and your ability to pretty much seamlessly pilot any tier is giga impressive. Lets lose another finals this PUPL.

ninjadog Getting you for 3k was crazy. When it happened I was like damn okay cool we got some dude. Then I did a double take and was li ke wait. Thats ninjadog, LOL. Usually when I get tour players I expect them to just ask for teams and say nothing. Seeing you hang out pretty often was a surprise, but I'm glad you did!

Ming549 You were our original SS plan since we didn't think we'd have enough funds to get TJ, but that worked out so you ended up being a benchwarmer..oops. Your ORAS games were fire asf and you're a great teammate to have because of how involved you are. Sorry you didn't get more games in, you definitely deserved it.

DugZa We already talked on Discord so this will be short; ty again for all your input when I asked for it and swapping around tiers also when I asked for it. You were a lot more active than I expected and I appreciated it. Don't feel bad about being expensive, it was worth it and I'd do it again if it meant having you as a teammate!

bleahey FakeFan0 When I came into this tour, I told Chungler I without a doubt wanted both of you as our subs. Bleahey you are legit one of the funniest fucking people on this website LOL I cannot believe I did not draft you last PL I'm still mad at myself for that. FakeFan in PUWC you played your games so well so I knew I had to pick you up in a non-wc team tour. You can definitely scale your way to the top of PU if you can calm the nerves. Sorry for inting you that one week by suggesting Zangoose LMFAOO. Both of you were always so ready to help and that's something I always look for in subs. Quality builders, teammates, and players. Could not have asked for more out of either of you, thank you so much guys.

go mongeys

Diannie’s RBY PU PUBD II Team dump

I won’t have much explanations here since even I still don’t understand this new RBY PU meta well. Every week I’m adjusting my teams since like, oh I saw a Primeape, might as well try it, and like oh Drowzee and Exeggcute, time to punish those who used abra.

I’ll start this with my mons combos stats.

Combos of 6: Magmar/Abra/Golduck/Nidoking/Porygon/Rapidash 0-2 record (vs Cake, vs Wanted)

https://pokepast.es/93ff77d8d96d5710

Some also used similar magmar led teams just like I remember seeing AM having pidgeot over pory.

Combos of 5: Porygon/Golduck/Pidgeot/Pinsir/Rapidash 1-1 record (Staryu version vs Maris finals g1 win, Nidoking version vs AM semis lost)

https://pokepast.es/63a53e395909a2f1 - staryu version

https://pokepast.es/a37804bb104687de - nidoking version

Combos of 4: Abra/Golduck/Porygon/Rapidash 0-4 record

Abra/Gastly/Nidoking/Rapidash 1-2 record
Golduck/Porygon/Rapidash/Scyther 1-1 record
Nidoking/Porygon/Staryu/Venusaur 1-1 record

Combos of 3: Golduck/Porygon/Rapidash 1-6 record
Golduck/Nidoking/Rapidash 0-6 record
Golduck/Rapidash/Pinsir 2-2 record

Teams with some of my most used mons: Abra pinsir gastly

https://pokepast.es/2ebe1197dc7d7077 - duck/gastly/scyther/pidge G2 finals

https://pokepast.es/25e22617eb44c10f - magmar pinsir scyther semis

https://pokepast.es/87ee114689682de9 - nidoking pinsir scyther ape semis

Another Duckled gastly rapidash scyther team - with nidoking and abra over pidge and porygon - vs AM W4 - https://pokepast.es/b95b117071f45992

And here’s the G3 finals team (my only seaking usage)
https://pokepast.es/d79cb8ab2c540485

The variations are either based on vibes or my instinct told me to use a certain mon. Games went to as simple as duck dash trading, pory mirror, abra, and even got 2 seaking vs flying 1v1 endgame, up to complicated like should I switch or not to switch versus Graveler, switching Nidoking in to catch twave, etc. Many are coinflips, but some are also calculating which mon to use to revenge to arrive to the desired endgame.

That’s all for this post.

Before PUBD
:aggron::eelektross::silvally-fairy::mudsdale::shiftry::jellicent:
https://pokepast.es/61202665d5d56c21
s/o burstbean's aggron set, before PUBD i want play SM so use this, magnet rise aggron can deal non-cc mudsdale well so cooked about this, but sadly i never play any SM games:psycry:

:glastrier::wo-chien::sandaconda::bellibolt::cramorant::hoopa:
https://pokepast.es/fcede417092adee8
Glastrier is so good, pairing with paraspam can 6-0 many teams, weak rotom-h so use tera dragon belli, team was planned on w2 to against Xiri but tony edit a good paraspam too, this team get some success on PU Winter ssnl.

:golurk::arcanine::frosmoth::qwilfish::skuntank::articuno-galar:
https://pokepast.es/4d39e7a5caf8ee83
When tier shift coming, i think band arcanine is good so cooked this, this team was get success but too weak rhydon so this team not really well, but it still can be a good try.

:trevenant::scrafty::rhydon::qwilfish::rotom-heat::skuntank:
https://pokepast.es/ab746b271e5cdfd1
A hazard stack team with trevenant, thunder punch scrafty to lure cramorant because rhydon/qwilfish no way to punish it defog, a very standard team.

Week1
:clawitzer::arcanine::articuno-galar::persian-alola::frosmoth::rhydon:
https://pokepast.es/9df873c9ca954369
Was thinking use samorutt against Larry because megahorn is good lure about wo-chien but i not building well around this, lack breaking power make me thinking mixed set, but i found a water type have more breaking power and can hit wo-chien too, that is clawizter, if predict well, it can kill many things, i pairing with volt-turn and 3 broken mons, about game, mu is bad but larry choked.

Week2
:poliwrath::sandaconda::wo-chien::electrode-hisui::frosmoth::delphox:
https://pokepast.es/03d922c191ac4f03
s/o big tony 2014's edit from glastrier team, a para spam with sub bu poliwrath because tony think poliwrath can did well into Xiri, specs delphox is a decent breaker and no switch in.

Week3
:trevenant::skuntank::oricorio::rhydon::tatsugiri::florges:
https://pokepast.es/a0d1373ec0f3406e
My best one building, all teammates have good offense pressure and memento+qd ori can spammed many teams.

:delphox::copperajah::hariyama::altaria::bruxish::rhydon:
https://pokepast.es/48682b987cedad18
Building for tene to against 691, 691 like use boring balance so i bring specs delphox break his defense core and double dance rhydon is so broken mon, sadly this game's way is wrong.

Week4
:decidueye-hisui::rhydon::dudunsparce::bellibolt::altaria::bruxish:
https://pokepast.es/3beeffb917453052
I still remember this team build in October 2024 but in this metagame did really well, band decid can give opp some surprise and double dance rhydon is so broken.

:tauros-paldea-blaze::venusaur::mudsdale::articuno-galar::sandslash-alola::bruxish:
https://pokepast.es/f15aa6993d0bd352
Building a soild stuff for cen, redbull is good breaker, no one can switch in it well, team's target is use bruxish/pack venusaur make redbull switch in and break opp's defense, offense venu is good too, no one can switch well in it but i'm curious why people not often used it, this team give our sv slot 2's first win.

:raichu::persian-alola::copperajah::cramorant::rhydon::tauros-paldea-blaze:
https://pokepast.es/04675fbf73d0fe57
I promise this raichu is good, in sometimes it can give good offense pressure and give redbull chance break, in sometimes it can use np+draining kiss deal wo-chien to make rhydon sweep, lighting road give team another electric immunity but i don't think raichu can switch in any attack, but overall raichu is viable mon at now.

Week5
:uxie::rhydon::emboar::venusaur::scovillain::volbeat:
https://pokepast.es/61a5bddbab40eeea
Although this team lose, this is another team i liked so much, i not used HO so want give seraphz a surprise, i cooked about this sun, tier lack fire resist so specs scovillain can break so many times, emboar's set from 691, it have better power than redbull but redbull have better speed.

:arcanine::magneton::mudsdale::articuno-galar::frosmoth::skuntank:
https://pokepast.es/60217b46c7c0d471
A boring balance from 691's PUWC Final but magneton over elecorode-hisui.

Semifinal
:hariyama::palossand::bellibolt::sandslash-alola::articuno-galar::bruxish:
https://pokepast.es/a50abb3a5f24a2ba
s/o big tony 2014 again, hariyama is pretty good into baloor but i also meeting specs florges, won it by a bit luck but i don't think baloor should use florges to eat guno's attack, ground guno can solve rotom-h.

Semifinal TB
:arcanine::florges::palossand::cramorant::magneton::skuntank:
https://pokepast.es/0c62a8f9d30791b4
This team is garbage, thinking cm offense florges is good into asa, but team overall 6-0 by offense venu, luckily asa's venu is defense set.

Final
:rhydon::wo-chien::salazzle::articuno-galar::qwilfish::dudunsparce:
https://pokepast.es/c2535c927c120eca
Another best building, although this lose too, team is building around chip damage by toxic, leech seed and hazard stack and make two good set up user be winc, this team tested very well but i lose in final is a bit sad thing.
