Introduction:
So, I made this very saucy team a few months ago after hearing PokeaimMD say *Necrozma* in a really funny way and after
taking one look at this Pokémon I knew I could make it work in OU. This team was somewhat inspired by serperiorr's Reuniclus Darkspam HO,
but instead that green blob is replaced by a much more based pokemon; Necrozma. I've been using this team a lot in casual ladder
and in tournaments like OU SSNL where it preforms quite well, so I thought now is the time I finally showcase it, enjoy.
Necrozma Role: + Is the star of this team (literally). With Colbur Berry not only is Necrozma is able to takes 1/2 from dark type attack but the damage is reduced even further with Prism Armor by 1/4 making a dark type attack bounce off Necrozma, without having to resort to exhausting Tera. Meaning Dark Pulse from does less then 30%, Kowtow Cleave from does 29.3 - 34.6%, Crunch from max attack does 15.3 - 18.3%, Knock from Ogerpon does 18.8 - 22.1%, while Knock from does 16.3 - 19.3% and Ceaseless Edge from does 25.8 - 30.6%. So this is how Necrozma is able to deal with it's counters defensively, what does it do offensively? Necrozma destroys HO and offensive teams with T-room, webs do not wanna face this guy as the common abusers get thrashed; such as , , . It's even good into sun teams after roaring moon ban, with getting chipped nothing stops Necrozma from pressuring with T-room to Pokemon like , , and Tera Blast Fairy to deal with and . Speaking of Tera Blast Fairy it catches and revenge killers off guard, dragon types that expect to beat Necrozma such as or get OHKO by surprise. Ofcourse being realistic Necrozma is still a piss mon and can't really pull off a Shamone goob on it's own, It needs a lot of support from it's teammates to pull that off and you will see how it does that as you continue to read on...
Set: Necrozma @ Colbur Berry Ability: Prism Armor Tera Type: Fairy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA Quiet Nature - Photon Geyser - Tera Blast - Earth Power - Trick Room
Kingambit Role: and pair very well together by not only covering each others weaknesses but also handle each others counters, Necrozma beats Gambit checks such as , , , and Gambit returns the favour by threatening , which otherwise don't let Necrozma make much progress. + + Tera Dark helps improve stall match up, with only being able to handle it, often forcing tera fighting which can be taken advantage of by Necrozma and Enamorus. The real magic of these two working together happens after T-room is setup, usually late game, if gambit opens up with its counters getting chipped, Necrozma can setup a suicide T-room (if its unable to break) so Gambit can clean up for it; hence it's name, checkmate b*tch. I'll link a few games where this plays out exactly the way its suppose to and often does happen against HO and offensive match ups.
Set: Kingambit @ Black Glasses Ability: Supreme Overlord Tera Type: Dark EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Kowtow Cleave - Iron Head - Sucker Punch
Samurott-Hisui Role: + A very underrated yet powerful Samurott-H set that should see more usage in OU. It can basically 2HKO most of the meta mons thats not a , or . However does have knock off as a good progression making tool if it can't break immediately, and always has ceaseless edge as a low risk move, but this time hits MUCH harder. Really, I can't stress how good this Samurott set is, it's able to snipe almost anything that tries switching in on it; most of the time if your facing a or predict the switch and double out of into Samurott-H so you get free spikes (works 99% of the time) Furthermore, Samurott-H is able to hazard stack so Necrozma switch-in's don't get too comfortable, pairing well with as a spin blocker and making sure no or wants to defog. Still not convinced to use ...? Well have look at these calcs: VS 252+ Atk Choice Band Sharpness Samurott-Hisui Ceaseless Edge vs. 80 HP / 0 Def Primarina: 147-173 (45.7 - 53.8%) -- 45.7% chance to 2HKO VS 252+ Atk Choice Band Sharpness Samurott-Hisui Ceaseless Edge vs. 248 HP / 244+ Def Zapdos: 186-219 (48.5 - 57.1%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO VS 252+ Atk Choice Band Sharpness Samurott-Hisui Razor Shell vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 186-219 (46.6 - 54.8%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery VS 252+ Atk Choice Band Sharpness Samurott-Hisui Razor Shell vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Great Tusk: 420-494 (96.7 - 113.8%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO VS 252+ Atk Choice Band Sharpness Samurott-Hisui Razor Shell vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 232-274 (58.8 - 69.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers VS 252+ Atk Choice Band Sharpness Samurott-Hisui Ceaseless Edge vs. 244 HP / 36 Def Gliscor: 184-217 (52.2 - 61.6%) -- 62.9% chance to 2HKO after Poison Heal
Set: Samurott-Hisui @ Choice Band Ability: Sharpness Tera Type: Water EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Ceaseless Edge - Razor Shell - Knock Off - Aqua Jet
Iron Threads Role: Next the support Pokemon, + is another uncommon set but for this team works best. Supports Necrozma and Enamorus by denying entry hazards and is able to check , , etc might trouble Necrozma. Tera Ghost stops Rapid Spin from Great Tusk or other Iron Treads and gives it an immunity to fighting type attacks, which is also covered by Necrozma. Has Ice spinner to trade with , , which opens up potential sweep. It's able to tank one fiery dance from which this team is already very weak to and KO it back. Overall it's good utility for the team; keeps hazards off, offers volt-switch momentum and helps checks specific Pokemon.
Set: Iron Treads @ Assault Vest Ability: Quark Drive Tera Type: Ghost EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Earthquake - Ice Spinner - Volt Switch - Rapid Spin
Pecharunt Role: + holds this team together as a spin blocker, defensive wall and to threaten pesky fairy types such as , , and . For this team you can either use my offensive Nasty Plot set or the standard defensive pivot (both work fine) The nasty plot gives you a free setup on , and better helps you 1v1 or , the bulk allows you to live ice spinner, followed by a headlong rush from Tusk, also allows you to live offensive Shadow Ball from Dengo and your able to survive a Darkpulse from Tera Grass might be strange but helps chip (albeit very slowly) and comes in clutch against , , etc... The only downside with running this is your spin blocker is now gone.
| Personal Preference: Pecharunt @ Air Balloon Ability: Poison Puppeteer Tera Type: Grass EVs: 184 HP / 72 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Nasty Plot - Malignant Chain - Shadow Ball - Recover | Alternative Set: Pecharunt @ Heavy-Duty Boots Ability: Poison Puppeteer Tera Type: Ghost EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Malignant Chain - Hex - Parting Shot - Recover |
Enamorus Role: Standard scarf Enamorus set. + is the main speed control for this team being able to revenge kill other faster threats such , , . With Tera Staller she is able to late game sweep once her counters are weakened and spikes are up. Enamorus pairs well with + + as they cover each others weaknesses, Enamorus is able to block defog for Samurott and threaten with mystical fire, while treads helps out by removing rocks.
Set: Enamorus @ Choice Scarf Ability: Contrary Tera Type: Stellar EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Modest Nature - Tera Blast - Moonblast - Earth Power - Mystical Fire
(I thought uploading these images without colour would be funny since Necrozma absorbs light)

GOODBYE EVERYONE!
GOODBYE EVERYONE!
Thank you for reading, I had a lot of fun making and writing for this team as my first RMT. I'd like to know how
I can improve it/what changes to make and hopefully you guys try this peak out so we can get Necrozma, AND CHOICE BAND SAMUROTT usage up. Also uhhh shoutout to seamen gang .

Kyurem :

Kyrem can sometimes be problematic for this team, since nothing really wants to switch-in on the combination of freeze dry + earth power, so it can make you lose momentum most of the time needing to sack something to revenge kill it with . is the only way to beat this, so make sure you keep it healthy at all times, if the situation looks bad with Pecharunt weakened then Tera Grass comes in clutch vs pon(trust). Also
