Welcome to the second iteration of MFPL! This tournament is nearly identical to MPL, except it gives some lesser known or up and coming talent of the Monotype Community a chance to play in a team tournament alongside more veteran players. Nobody is prevented from signing up, as the goal is to expand participation beyond seasoned vets.

You are REQUIRED to have 1-2 co-manager, though you can edit it in later or choose them from the draft. The manager selection process is mostly subjective. The hosts alongside the rest of the moderation team will select the managers we feel are most strongly suited for the tournament.

Some basic rules:

• Current managers (or co-managers) in MPL are not allowed to manage in MFPL.
• However, current managers in MPL can sign up as a player in MFPL.
• Nobody is prevented from signing up for MFPL and we encourage all rookies and vets alike to partake.
• However, players already in MPL can only sign up for and play SV Mono in MFPL if they have not started in SV Mono in MPL prior to Week 4 (if they were subbed in, that means they can still sign up here-only starters for the first 3 weeks cannot play it).
• Additionally, players in MPL cannot play a tier in MFPL for which they have played at least one game for in MPL by close of MPL Week 3 (MPL Weeks 4+ do not matter for this).
• There are no exceptions.

Tarre25, Pokemh, and I are a strong combination of experience, passion, and dedication to the Monotype metagame: across all generations, including SV, ORAS, and BW. I’ve competed in a wide range of tournaments such as the Monotype Cup, MWP, past MFPLs, and currently MPL, building not only a strong track record but also a deep understanding of the metagame and its dynamics.

Tarre25 is not only an exceptionally skilled player, but also a rock-solid teammate: always ready to offer insight, support, and step up whenever someone needs help. His consistency and leadership in high-pressure situations are invaluable.

Pokemh brings very helpful experience in team management, having helped lead a team in NDMPL. She’s incredibly reliable and empathetic, always there to support teammates both strategically and emotionally. Her presence lifts team morale, and she never gives up on anyone.

Wesleyy is a new, super active, and competent manager who has been doing really well since his debut last year. He is currently managing ADPL, BW World Cup, ROAPL, and Ghost Managing MSPL.
I have extensive experience managing both onsite and offsite tours. Longestbanana doesn’t have direct Monotype experience, but his record in SV OU speaks for itself. Together, we’ve managed both onsite and offsite tours that included Monotype formats.

Dunes has helped to orchestrate and help his teammates on the Shade League in ULC II, who are currently in the Grand Finals after going undefeated in the Winners Bracket. Additionally, Dunes has helped in teambuilding and overall support in other team tours he has been in, such as MFPL I, NDMPL 3, 4, and 5, and NDFL.
