Welcome to the 2025 World Cup of Pokemon!

The host team has already started working on this iteration to provide you with the WCoP experience you deserve! We have tons of content and community-driven events in the works and will be using this thread to keep you updated.

Your hosting team consists of a fun bunch of users led by ken: Vertigo, Syrinix, UT, goldmason, and mimi. Also, Larry.

Your media team consists of another fun bunch, and they'll get things kicked off shortly.

And it wouldn't really be WCoP without saying:

First and foremost, you may and probably have hopefully seen above that we have a new logo this year. You can praise Pissog for his beautiful work and thank Smeargle's Studio for hosting a contest that allowed for so many wonderful artists to contribute designs.

The WCoP Prediction Tournament is back - and with a cash prize!

Just like SPL, the host team will be linking a form for you to make predictions for each segment of the tournament, and we encourage everyone to participate! At present, the pool will be split between the top 3 overall predictors (across the >500 matches for the tournament).

The prize-pool is already at $200.00 for this contest and donations are most certainly welcome, and, while not a requirement by any means, please know that any contribution large or small is so much appreciated by the entire community!

Note: If you'd like to pitch-in and provide a donation to this prize pool, please DM me on the forums or on Discord at .k.e.n. for instructions.
