What is the bug?
In Gen 8 Random Battles, once I got a Charizard. When I clicked dynamax, the fire type move changed name to G-Max Wildfare, indicating it's a G-Max. But when the turn started, it was only a normal dynamax. The move's name stayed G-Max Wildfire on the button. But in action, it was always Max Flare. Here's the replay
