The AG Classic consists of three tournaments: The ORAS Cup, The USUM Cup, and The SS Cup. Players earn points from each cup in order to reach the playoffs, a top 8 bracket where they can compete to earn points for the AG Circuit. This is a best of 3 tournament in SS, USUM, and ORAS Anything Goes.


Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The formats are standard ORAS, USUM, and SS Anything Goes.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • Replays are mandatory.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown! or Smogtours.
  • Do not make baseless activity posts, get in contact with your opponent and report missed times/scheduling issues only.
  • All the usual Smogon rules regarding activity, timer, disconnection, and ghosting rules apply.

Note: In case of a points tie, tie is broken by Win% and then Deepest Run. If it was still tied, it will be coinflipped.

Therefore, Seedings are:
  1. Geysers
  2. entrocefalo
  3. QT
  4. Pokemh
  5. Satanic Beast
  6. polt
  7. RL
  8. default0

Round 2:
2. entrocefalo vs 6. polt
8. default0 vs 4. Pokemh

Important Note: The higher seed gets to choose the format for the first game out of SS, USUM, and ORAS AG. The loser of this game will then pick the subsequent format.

Upon discussions with the Tier Leader, it was decided that since playoff qualification is based on points and winrate, several players didn’t get a chance to play. As such, awarding a free win to you would be unfair. Therefore, the next highest seed, i.e, Bread Sandwich has been subbed in to replace Satanic Beast.

New matchup:
4. Pokemh vs 9. Bread Sandwich
Deadline is <t:1749106740:F>, although you may be given an extension if required.
