Choice Band enables Meowscarada to secure OHKOs on staples against foes such as Scream-Tail Scream Tail, Pecharunt, and Great Tusk and as well as pressure checks such as Corviknight. Choice Scarf guarantees Meowscarada is able to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame and threaten other Choice Scarf users such as Roaring Moon, Latios, and Scream Tail. U-turn lets Meowscarada scout switch-ins and accumulate chip damage against checks such as Corviknight. Triple Axel lets Meowscarada threaten threatens checks such as Mandibuzz and defensive Zapdos while also letting it threaten an OHKO versus OHKOing targets like Landorus and Garchomp. edited to fix 'lets meow' repetition Low Kick alternatively allows Meowscarada to hit bulky Steels Steel-types such as Cobalion, Heatran, and Kingambit. Meowscarada can struggle to get on-field with onto the field due to its lack of bulk and such so appreciates slow pivots from the likes of like Corviknight, Swampert, (AC) and or Pecharunt that can also absorb revenge-killing revenge killing attempts from the likes of Chien-Pao, Deoxys-Speed Deoxys-S, (AC) and Zamazenta. Meowscarada can also appreciate benefit from the presence of offensive pivots like Cinderace, Moltres, (AC) and or Azelf that enable Meowscarada provide it with opportunity opportunities against switch-ins like Great Tusk, Manaphy, (AC) and Swampert. Meowscarada can struggle with breaking through Corviknight and Skarmory and so pairs well with other strong wallbreakers such as Zamazenta, Chien-Pao, and Ogerpon-Wellspring Ogerpon-W that can pressure and overload them. Meowscarada Similarly, it can also similarly benefit breaking up the same sentence beginnings from strong hazard setters such as Great Tusk, Landorus, Ting-Lu, (AC) and or Heatran that can chip and weaken Corviknight and other checks like Iron Hands and Zamazenta. Heavy-Duty Boots and Magic Guard + Life Orb sets are niche options that can fit on fatter bulkier teams that appreciate the longevity of such sets given Meowscarada's propensity to pivot often, though the loss in power is often noticeable such as being unable to 2HKO Pecharunt. Mixed sets with Adaptability + Life Orb and Dark Pulse are a niche option to bait checks such as Corviknight. Spikes and Toxic Spikes can also be considered as options to accrue chip damage or force entry hazard removal by Corviknight. Sucker Punch can also be considered on Choice Band sets if you need a team needs priority to check faster threats such as Deoxys-Speed Deoxys-S and Choice Scarf Gholdengo on Choice Band sets. Lash Out is also a niche option that allows Meowscarada to better threaten Intimidate Corviknight and Skarmory.
