Ubers Premier League XIII - Power Rankings
art by Blazenix!
Welcome to year 13 of Ubers most competitive team tournament - Where new players try to make a name for themselves, veterans try to redeem their poor runs, and established players continue to dominate the field. What better way to boost their ego or give them some added motivation to prove people wrong than to present this years power rankings! Shoutout to all teams except Durians for participating in this and getting back to me very quickly, and special thanks to all the various writers (credited section wise in this post) for writing this up on very short notice!

The reigning champions are back eyeing for a 2peat! Vishes have historically had some of the best drafts and are no strangers to being #1 on power rankings. Unsurprisingly, they've had another solid draft this year. Mashing is one of the best in SV Ubers at the moment while etern is well familiar with SV Ubers, having a couple of insane UPL and UWC runs to show for it. Colin is a newer name in Ubers but has a lot of tour experience including officials. Backed by Truenora and Icemaster's support and having the option to start ox04 from Week 4 onwards, Vishes have a formidable SV core, certainly favored against most teams. Icemaster puts himself in SS which is probably the strongest slot in the tournament. Rhmsitb and Dawnbuster were retained and are in the top half of rather weak pools, so they are expected to do well. Pdt and Heysup are probably the most experienced tour players on this team, but their performance comes down to their motivation in the tournament - especially the latter who has real life circumstances which may stop him from being at his 100%. Vishes have spent a fortune on Crossia who is a newer name in the community but notably farmed Ubers pool in ORASPL earlier. Cake, seraphz, and squinn were their cheaper buys but are all competent players. Honestly, there is nothing bad to say about this team. While they dont have as much "star power" as they did last year, they still have players who are ranked in the top half in most generations. Once again the vishes are favourites to win the tournament in the eyes of many people, it all comes down to how motivated they can remain for the whole tour.

After a disastrous year, Bandits are in the hands of Highlord and Ayu once again. They started their team by self purchasing Highlord, and retaining Lana for 14k, who has been in good form as of late and has quickly made a name for herself in Ubers in the last year. She isn't the only SCL 2024 Ubers starter in their core, Vitiate, formerly 7u9i2, is back to playing after a short break and is expected to unrust and pick up where he left off. Their last SV slot is Meru, who is rather inexperienced in Ubers but is historically one of the most successful UU players, and has tons of experience in tournaments. Their other expensive buys were Fardin and vani, both costing over 20k in the auction, both will likely do well in their pools. Lotiasite has put up some good numbers in SS across various tours. CKW is a veteran player who has been gone for a while but has done well in SM in the past. Enigami and edgar are solid options in their pool. Ajencis and magialice are newer names in Ubers but have shown promising talent in thier limited experience. This team has a lot of hard hitters, their lineup is flexible, and they solid bench options. Assuming this team's top players continue to do well and support other slots, sky is the limit for them.

Dialgas are back to deal with some unfinished business. Falling to the eventual champions in semifinals, entro is ready to lead them back but this time with Richard by his side. Surprisingly only entro self bought this year which was puzzling to many given richard's current form in SV Ubers. They mostly made up for it in the draft, buying a core of Strap, default, and fish. Strap is veteran and a successful name in Ubers. default0, may be unfamiliar to many, but is known for his unorthodox building and playing style and fish is a solid lower tier player. They've got bacon and gondra in oldgens, who have put up incredible numbers in UPL in past seasons and will likely live up to their high price tag. They've got some veterans in old gens such as shrang, cyberacc, and Sheik :, the former 2 being their retains, for a rather cheap price combined. Gastlies is a new talent in RBY but has quickly established themselves as one of the best in the tier, they were also acquired for cheap in the auction. Their lineup is rounded up by a new ADV player, indulge, and entrocefalo in Bo3. Notably this team has also got an insanely strong bench, susciety and MMII have locked out of their main gens but will likely provide solid support anyhow, while cam and keshba are good flex sub options. This teams success pivots on their SV core doing well, bacon and gondra living up to their price tag as they have time and again, and their retains showing up and doing as well as they are expected to do.
DaReal Drizzlers

SV Ubers: 8truc
SV Ubers: Skyiew

DPP Ubers: ExguardiaN
ADV Ubers: Raph369
GSC Ubers: Conflict
RBY Ubers: YBW
Multigen Bo3: FatFighter2
Subs: Shion, Jojen, Mysterious M, Yelou, el poeta
Dialgas arent the only team with unfinished business, Drizzlers barely fell short of making finals last year but they come this year again with a very top heavy lineup including some great retains in Raph and Skyiew, both acquired for a very cheap price given their talent and recent form. They've gotten back Conflict in auction, and also purchased Fatfighter and Squares. Between these 5 and a historically successful manager core, Drizzlers already have most of the gens on lock. Their SV core is completed by 8truc, an up and coming player, and TJ, an ex SCL Ubers starter in SS. They do have some newer players in some oldgens - notably SS, SM, ORAS, and DPP, but most of them have been performing well, especially in winter tour and classic. YBW did reasonably well in UPL last year and is top half of the pool in RBY this year. They have a strong bench which gives them a ton of flexbility in the lineup. With the right motivation, Drizzlers are quite likely to continue their top record in UPL.
Void Villains
SV Ubers: myjava
SV Ubers: avarice
SV Ubers: clean
SS Ubers: Addison
USUM Ubers: Goat Heart ♥
ORAS Ubers: byronthewellwell

DPP Ubers: evakiyama!
ADV Ubers: iry
GSC Ubers: feen
RBY Ubers: King Billu
Multigen Bo3: Fc
Subs: Maris Bonibell, Celeste, sensei axew
Fc is back to lead the Villains after a disappointing 8th place finish last year due to their oldgens underperforming. By his side is Evuelf, who is currently the best overall old gens player in Ubers, coming off an inhuman Ubers Classic run. This team has gone all out on top heavy picks, their ORAS and SM are byron and goat heart who have been in ubers for a while and always done well in tours. They've purchased iry and evakiyama who have some experience in the slots they're put in and with Evuelf's support will likely do well. Villains have done well to strengthen their 4-7 and Bo3, but rest of their slots are quite support reliant. Myjava, avarice, and clean are very talented pilots but will not be building teams. With the right support, there is no doubt that these pilots will likely combine for a positive record, but given that they didnt purchase any notable builders, Fc has a ton of heavy lifting to do. Additionally, their RBY GSC SS core costs 3k per player. These are gens where other teams have spent a fortune on, so it was a risky call, but this feels like a very good top heavy lineup. Granted Fc and Evuelf can support throughout the season without getting burnt out, it would be surprising to see this team missing playoffs.
Eternal Voyagers
SV Ubers: Taka
SV Ubers: Hacker
SV Ubers: Frito
SS Ubers: Aberforth
USUM Ubers: Terracotta
ORAS Ubers: MZ
BW Ubers: Shitrock enjoyer
DPP Ubers: Piyu
ADV Ubers: Inspirited
GSC Ubers: summer islands
RBY Ubers: Sabelette
Multigen Bo3: Kate
Subs: DAHLI, Envy, Mada, RoFnA, LBN
The runner ups are back in hopes to go all the way this time. Their strongest gens are certainly SS, BW, DPP, and Bo3. All of them have well proven starters that require little support. Their SV core is reasonably strong, Taka has been inactive as of late but is a solid player, and Frito has been on the come up. Between these two and Kate, they will have strong SV builds for the whole season and will have little trouble supporting Hacker or whichever tour main from their bench ends up playing - if the lineup has to be adjusted. They purchased summer islands who was bit of a sleeper pick in GSC, this slot will likely end up doing well. Terracotta, MZ, and Inspirited are good players with UPL experience. I feel like they aren't playing in their main gens but they will do well enough regardless. To round up the lineup, they've got Sablette, who is an active RBY mainer with experience in playing Ubers. Kate in Bo3, Piyu in DPP, and Aberforth in SS are by far their strongest slots. They play relatively difficult pools, so the success of this team will rely on these slots doing well, and their old gens and SV core living up to the expectations.
Manly Melmetals
SV Ubers: Shuwri
SV Ubers: fade
SV Ubers: emoxu9
SS Ubers: Hoennseptile
USUM Ubers: PurpleGatorade
ORAS Ubers: DugZa
BW Ubers: The Dovahneer
DPP Ubers: robjr
ADV Ubers: mitana
GSC Ubers: Vileman
RBY Ubers: BeeOrSomething
Multigen Bo3: skimmythegod
Subs: OranBerryBlissey10, Planet, Blazing
Melmetals are claimed by Suzuya once again - The 2023 champions had a rather disappointing last year with some controversies, but they look to put all that behind and take the team to its former glory. Their SV core is perhaps the strongest in the tour - fade being an SCL Ubers starter, emoxu who is set to become the next big thing in Ubers, as well as Shuwri who is a veteran and can switch to SS should the need arise. The manager buy Hoenn slots himself in SS while the retain skimmy goes into Bo3. Both are in fairly tough pools, so we will have to see if they can do what is expected of them. They have some staples in old gens such as Purple, Dovah, robjr, mitana, but they have all been slightly inconsistent as of late, but if theres any tour where people find their form back its UPL. Their GSC and RBY cores are fairly strong compared to rest of the teams. While I personally feel like this team is not using its best lineup yet, they're definitely contenders anyhow because of how motivated most of these players are in this tour. However, their success will largely rely on their newer gens doing well and a few old gen players gaining their form back.
Defiant Durians
SV Ubers: SiTuM
SV Ubers: ZowwyCafé♪
SV Ubers: reyscarface
SS Ubers: Metallica126
USUM Ubers: Remnonc
ORAS Ubers: Lasen
BW Ubers: Tbolt
DPP Ubers: Dave
ADV Ubers: Hack
GSC Ubers: violet river
RBY Ubers: Unowndragon
Multigen Bo3: Ainzcrad
Subs: LB, MirrorSaMa, Princess Autumn, Xinnobu
Durians have been no strangers to poor performances in the past few years but will hope to make a difference this time. They have Hack who is the best player in the pool, this time playing ADV. They've got Dave in DPP and Lasen in ORAS who most people wouldve assumed would get picked by this team anyway. Ainzcrad has certainly levelled up since UWL and their core of Zowwy and Remnonc has been improving a lot lately. Rest of their slots are mostly in bottom half of their pools though, but are certainly capable of proving people wrong. Their fate lies in their own hands.
SV Ubers
Ranked by Core
Manly Melmetals - 6.68
emoxu9 (3) - Shuwri (5) - fade (8)
Melmetals have historically drafted some of the best current gen cores who later went on to become big names in Ubers. Last year they purchased emoxu for 3k which turned into a 10k retain this year, perhaps the steal of the whole tournament. Shuwri is back with the Melmetals after a year on the Vishes while fade returns to start for this franchise once again. This is a very tough core to beat due to the variance shown by these players in their team picks, coupled with the fact that they have three very strong supporters in the back - Inder, skimmy, and Hoenn - it is a nightmare for the other teams to prep for this SV core. It would be quite surprising to see any of these players end the tour with anything less than a neutral record, so Melmetals should feel quite happy about their draft in this gen.
(the next 2 teams are tied, I have put Bandits above due to their best player having a better ranking)
Choice Bandits - 5.57
Lana (1) - Vitiate (7) - Meru (19)
Lana has quickly jumped the ranks in SV PRs thanks to her recent performances in official and subforum team tours. Vitiate is back from a hiatus after a long SCL season. The former circuit champion has done well in Ubers team tours historically and other players seem to be confident about him regaining his form in UPL and further strengthening this SV core. Lastly we have Meru, who has little experience in Ubers but boasts an inhuman all-time UU record and has shown signs of being able to translate well into Ubers, judging by their Ubers Open and PSPL showings. Backed by Lana and Vitiate, they will have little trouble finding good teams and picking up the tier. Overall, this core is likely to live up to the expectations.
DaReal Drizzlers - 5.57
Skyiew (2) - 8truc (11) - TJ (14)
Skyiew is one of the most improved player of last year and his ranking on the PR reflects it well. He has official tour experience and does well in pretty much every team or individual tour you can think of. 8truc is a newer name in the community but has done enough to lose the ladder hero tag and is expected to make a name for himself in this tournament, while TJ is an Ubers veteran and an experienced tour player who can do well with support from Skyiew and co. Little surprised to see TJ in SV over SS since he used to be that guy back in the day, but his skills are likely to translate well into SV.
Dangerous Dracovishes - 4.45
Mashing (4) - etern (13) - Colin (21)
Vishes have spent a fortune on Mashing - 23,500 - and rightfully so, given her recent performances in officials. She was by far the best player in the pool and is able to support many other gens. Their next member is etern who had a stellar season on the Vishes and Team Oceania last year, and will be looking to redeem his UWL run from earlier in the year. Colin is a lower tier player who has been grinding Ubers a fair bit recently, he will do well with the support provided on this team. Lastly, the Vishes will also be able to unleash ox04 from Week 4 onwards, which would put this core on another level and maybe higher than what their ranking suggests atm, but we will have to wait and see. Of course they also have Truenora and Icemaster supporting them actively. For now its fair to say that Vishes will have little problems in this department.
Eternal Voyagers - 3.94
Taka (10) - Frito (15) - Hacker (18)
Taka has been playing a lot less lately, compared to last year, but the Voyagers have spent a lot on him, hoping that he regains his form just in time. Frito has improved a fair bit recently, using strong teams and even getting to start for West in WCOP this year. Hacker is an LC / Draft main with some experience in Ubers in the past. While they don't have a hard hitter in their core on paper, Taka and Frito are huge tryhards and backed by Kate's support this core has the capability to surprise most teams and prove them wrong.
Devastating Dialgas - 3.74
The Strap (6) - default0 (17) - fish anemometer (22)
The Winter Seasonal Champion Strap finds himself playing current gen in UPL after many seasons. The Dialgas have spent a good amount of money on him to lead their SV core along with Richard and entro's support. Fish is a solid lower tier player who can transition well into Ubers if he is motivated enough. Default is probably the most innovative player in this pool making him a wildcard pick. With Richard, entro, and Strap refining his ideas and producing good teams week after week, Dialgas will surely look to threaten other SV cores with this lineup.
Void Villains - 3.33
myjava (9) - clean (16) - avarice (24)
Probably the #1 SV OU core in this pool if we were to rank them. That aside, myjava has an insane record in UPL + UWC while avarice had a decent showing in UWL earlier in the year. Clean has little experience in Ubers aside from leading Teflon Bikes in UPL last year, but has transitioned well into other current gen tiers in the past. No one in this core will build their own teams so Fc will have to do some heavy lifting. Having just one builder can make them an easy target in getting outprepped, but other than that this is probably the most intimidating core in SV.
Defiant Durians - 2.72
ZowwyCafe (12) - SiTuM (20) - reyscarface (23)
Durians find themselves at the bottom again, but its not all bad. SiTuM has started in SCL in the past and done quite well but since then he hasnt played many games in Ubers. Zowwy is a rising star in Ubers who has good support in Remnonc, both would be hungry to make a name for themselves in the community this year. Rey is a good tours player and has some experience in SV Ubers - he played in WCOP and defeated Iceamster - so he is not completely foreign to this tier. Overall, this core lacks hard hitters and dont have great support, but they are certainly good players.
SS Ubers
SM Ubers
ORAS Ubers
BW Ubers
Written by Thor!
Void Villains - Evuelf
At the top of the BW rankings, we have Evuelf, who needs no introduction in the tier. Easily considered one of the greatest BW Ubers players of all time, he has recently expanded his dominance into other generations as well. With a Ubers Classic trophy under his belt and a current semifinals appearance in this year’s Ubers Classic playoffs, Evuelf was unanimously voted as the solid #1. There is no doubt he stands as the king of the pool. The real intrigue lies in how the rest of the pool will attempt to dethrone him, will his current reign continue, or will someone finally manage to take some games off the reigning BW Ubers monarch?
Eternal Voyagers - Shitrock Enjoyer
In second place, we have shitrock enjoyer, also known as fruhdazi and ANY1BW, a rising name in the BW Ubers scene. While he may not yet have the legacy of some of the tier’s established veterans, he's quickly gained recognition as a high-upside player with strong performances in other generations and a genuine passion for BW. His growth as a teambuilder and battler has been steady, and he’s becoming a name you can’t afford to overlook. Though his showing in UWL and his lone UPL appearance in BW haven’t fully met the expectations placed on him, his high placement in these rankings reflects the respect he’s earned from the community. Many believe he's just one step away from a breakout performance, and this UPL may be the stage where he finally turns promise into proof.
Choice Bandits - Edgar
In third place, we have edgar, another BW Ubers legend. Known for his creativity in teambuilding and for proudly representing Canada, edgar is a player you can never sleep on. While his last UPL appearance in BW Ubers (UPL XI) ended in a disappointing 0-6 record, he bounced back later with a flawless 7-0 run in BWPL. As they say in sports, he's a fundamentally sound player you always have to watch out for. This season, he’ll be looking to redeem himself and erase the shadow of that previous UPL performance.
Manly Melmetals - The Dovahneer
In fourth place, we have The Dovahneer, a seasoned veteran with several starting seasons under his belt for the Melmetals in BW Ubers. His UPL XI run was particularly impressive, finishing with a strong 6-3 record and helping his team secure the coveted UPL trophy. However, his most recent UPL showing saw him struggle with a 1-5 record despite a hefty 17.5k price tag. This season, Dovahneer will be aiming to recapture the magic of his championship run and remind everyone why he was once one of the most reliable picks in the tier. With experience, past success, and the hunger to bounce back, he remains a dangerous presence in the pool.
Devastating Dialgas - Gondra
In fifth place, we have Gondra, a two-time UPL champion. Having found great success in USM, he's now taking on a new challenge in BW Ubers. Gondra is well known across various communities for his versatility and his ability to quickly adapt to any tier he sets his sights on. While BW Ubers may not be his home turf, his tournament experience, game sense, and consistency make him a dangerous wildcard. If he gets comfortable early, he could very well climb higher in the rankings and shake up the pool in a big way.
DaReal Drizzlers - 64 Squares
In sixth place, we have 64 Squares, a player famous for both the right and the wrong reasons. He returns to his alma mater, the team that first picked him up back in UPL VIII, and to the tier where he originally debuted, even if it’s not the one he's most associated with. Fresh off a UWL win where he played in a Bo3 slot that included BW, 64 enters this UPL with renewed momentum. While his reputation may be polarizing, there's no denying his talent and deep knowledge of the game. If he channels his focus, he has the potential to surprise many in this pool.
Dangerous Dracovishes - Seraphz
In seventh place, we have Seraphz, another newcomer to the BW Ubers pool. His main experience in the tier comes from a solid 4-2 run in UWL, with one of those wins notably against Dovahneer, a current member of this UPL's BW pool. While his sample size is relatively small, Seraphz has already shown flashes of potential and a good grasp of the tier. As a debutant, he’ll be looking to prove he belongs at this level, and if he can build on that early success, he could easily outperform this ranking.
Defiant Durians - Tb0lt
Last but not least, we have tbolt, another newcomer to the BW Ubers pool. With limited background in the tier and his most recent competitive showing being a 1-2 record in DPP Farceus during UWL, questions naturally arise about how he’ll perform in such a stacked pool. However, what sets tbolt apart is the unparalleled support he brings with him—none other than Hack, the mastermind behind the tier, acting like a conductor leading his orchestra. With that level of guidance, tbolt will be aiming to rise far beyond expectations and leave his mark in his BW Ubers debut.
DPP Ubers
written by Taka!
Piyu - Eternal Voyagers (2.33)
Following up an impressive 10-0 run in SCL, this year Piyu finds himself at the top of the DPP pool hoping to continue his dominance. Piyu has a wealth of experience in DPP Ubers, having topped the pool in multiple Ubers World Cups. Additionally, his support in Inspirited, along with an overall weaker pool than previous years, clearly shows that he should be able to maintain his standing. If he can get an acceptable team passed, then all he has to do is get past his worst enemy: scheduling.
robjr - Manly Melmetals (2.83)
robjr is no stranger to DPP Ubers, having played it in UPL for multiple years. The crowd is expecting him to continue his streak after his 6-1 record last year. His teammates seem to also know their way around the tier, as Planet and Suzuya should be able to provide him the teams and tests he will need to get through his trials. As long as lady luck shines on him, we should see another strong year.
shrang - Devastating Dialgas (3.17)
shrang returns once more to show his skills, and similar to robjr, has played DPP Ubers for many years, holding a strong 4-2 in the last UPL. His vast love for Deoxys-Speed offense is sure to be seen, but will RichardMillePlain be able to steer him towards a more wide pool of structures? Only time will tell, and shrang is no stranger to success.
Dave - Defiant Durians (3.29)
It seems as though Mr. Stone Cold has been reunited with Larry, there is a chance that not much will stand in their way. Despite a weaker showing last UPL, Dave returns to a weaker pool with two incredible supporters in Hack and Lasen. His familiarity with the tier paired with a strong selection of teams should give him the tools to success; all that’s left is to wait and see.
squinn - Dangerous Dracovish (3.67)
Returning player squinn looks to make another entrance in the DPP pool. After reaching the semifinals of DPP Ubers Cup and going 6-3 in DPPPL, it looks like their rust is wearing off. Squinn is also paired with supporters in ILoveMashing and Heysup. However, the meta has shifted quite a bit since their last showing, and although they are a strong player, everything matters on how quickly they can adapt.
evakiyama - Void Villains (4.83)
evakiyama is no stranger to DPP and old gens. However, they are still green in DPP Ubers, subbing in for DPPPL and going 1-2. They are a strong player, and Evuelf will surely be able to teach them the tier quickly, but the Villains may not be able to prevent another Healing Wish incident in time.
magialice - Choice Bandits (5.83)
magialice is a solid old gen player with some experience playing DPP Farceus in DPPPL, sporting a decent 2-1 record. They are relatively new to DPP Ubers otherwise, and it is unclear on how strong they will be. However, they are paired with Highlord, who may be the greatest DPP player of all time. At the moment they are but a mere genin, but by the end of this tournament, they may become the Hokage of DPP Ubers.
ExguardiaN - DaReal Drizzlers (6.17)
The Drizzlers took a chance on a new star in ExguardiaN, who went 2-1 in Chinese UPL. Normally this would be a death sentence, but the Drizzlers have a ton of support in Thor, Perry, Splendid Silver Star, 64 Squares, and Conflict. With the level of the current pool, and the team that he happened to land on, it may be the time to see if ExguardiaN sinks or swims.

BW Ubers
