tko I wanted to start this off by saying there’s nobody else I would’ve rather went on this journey with, but then I was like eh idk if that’s true
regardless tho you were prolly the only person that would’ve said yes (and did say yes) with like 2h remaining in manager signups, me not being able to be present for the draft, and yet regardless having plenty of must-haves and specific opinions on who to get. So thank you for all that and somehow someway we won the chip LMAO
Donphantastic - man, 2025? this is nuts. My favorite part of this entire tournament is probably rewatching the draft logs where we got into a bidding war for you and I believe Laurel said “seriously who is this guy?” “name change?”. It’s fair, you are actually ancient and an old geezer. You showed that you could come into the DPP game and be a polarizing presence in and out of the battlefield across all lower tiers even with like 20% of the effort and energy you had in your prime. Thanks for errthing as per usual hopefully will see u soon
Stories - the goat Tauros Dusclops wielder. I alrdy dmed you basically how I feel abt this tour and your performance, but to reiterate briefly here. You cooked in a specifically dominant manner. Hopefully I can keep watching you in this tier for a while.
Django - Ngl i was pushing you onto memcho from the second we signed up and he was lowkey like “ye ill trust u big dawg” so if you inted I woulda taken the heat for sure. Thank you for being a team player and taking the PU pool by storm despite it being one of the only DPP tiers you hadn’t rly experienced at all LOL. You crushed this tour was lost without you for sure
twash - It’s pretty pathetic how little of a clue memcho and I had abt the DPP OU playerbase going into this tournament. We basically fully dove into getting you as our core piece for OU based off vibes alone and it obviously worked out. You were fire and thank you for winning the chip for us, you deserve a large portion of credit for this tournament.
Triangles - I have a lot of respect for you as a player after watching you in SPL as your teammate. In all tournaments, managers tend to gravitate towards people they’ve had positive experiences with even over people who might be better options or whatever tf. In this case, like I mentioned above, memcho and I had no fucking clue what the DPP OU Playerbase Meta was like, and your name stood out as someone that surely knew what was going on and would surely execute. With positive experiences you freshly in mind, your name was an easy one to remember. You fulfilled your role for the team and played excellently in finals as expected to help us clutch up.
Punny - Obviously as my partner in crime it was a must I had to secure you. Especially in a tournament where we honestly only kind of had a good grasp of certain aspects of what we were looking for in draft. You signed up for the tournament and gave the tier and generation a real shot basically bc I said pretty please it’d mean a lot and for that and for many other reasons you are a great friend and a great teammate. Getting you in any tour is a dub no questions abt it.
DugZa - Our track record of inting each other but being in favorable team situations is pretty fire atp. I believe truly that any managers for any tournament could draft us and we’d make playoffs (this excludes scl ofc). We will both absolutely fucking lose all our games tho, but rly u won when it mattered quite a bit, your substitution into summer’s slot was a big time win and having you in our back pocket kept us confident in those situations.
summer islands - having someone like you off the bench that got a ton of games and actively built was rly helpful for the team throughout the entire tournament. The means in which we learned about your involvement in DPP OU is p funny as we simply scoured the DPP discord to see who was actively talking abt the tier there and seemed pretty competent by how they typed LMFAO. Thank you for being a competent DPP OU typer and for filling the big bo3 and OU shoes this tournament without complaint.
Mashing - You inspired confidence all tournament, in tiebreak it was part of why I was feeling good abt our chances of winning. To have their tier-pick for tiebreak be the slot you were confidently going into seemed like one of the absolute best case scenarios given your track record so far in the tournament. Without you we probably don’t win this tournament, your steady pace of constantly winning throughout the regular season is a large reason we even had the oomph to make it to playoffs, let alone win the chip.
Quinn squinn - Along with mashing, you guys were the other portion of memcho’s legacy on this team that held tight and thugged it out for the entire season, making all of our lives easier to work around you as alrdy “proven/working” slots. I grouped you together bc to this day I have to think pretty hard to recall which played the ubers meta and which played lc, but just know in your hearts that I do genuinely know the answer and I enjoyed your games this season B)
Charmriah - Thank you for being one of the more active presences throughout the season and being down for any random sub situation lol. People like you make or break environments and are conducive to winning teams imo. Hence why I was happy we got you after you carried dugza and i in UUBD. Thanks for all the effort and hopefully it was a great experience for you B)
Ara - i’ve known you for a solid amount of years atp mainly due to dppnu, but i knew you p much played every dpp lower tier. With that in mind and me personally being at least semi worried abt chat activity and all-around support in some random channels… I figured you were the ideal catch-all to be able to get games and offer comments with quite literally everybody. Thanks a bunch for your effort this season and you had a great and big impact on our team
BeeOrSomething - Thank you for being the cheer leader our team deserved. Always been a fan of yours so us getting you in the draft made me happy personally. Apologies you didn’t get to do some damage to the opposing teams much but you’re a great person to have in the chat and i’m glad we got you for sure.
