Re: Tierlock

When Player Signups were posted, we mistakenly stated that tier lock would only affect the regular season. As a core metagame, PU (and thus, PUPL) will follow the official policy per TDs, which applies tier lock to the regular season and playoffs.

Tier lock will not apply to tiebreakers.

If you need your signup edited, please reach out to myself, Murphy Lawden or Wildfiree ! Thank you and sorry for the confusion.
 
The Malignant Chain Snatchers have self-purchased Ampha for 16k and retained Tack for 10k and sugar ovens for 10k.

Their new total is 130k - 16k - 10k - 10k= 94k.

The Haunter x Haunter have self-purchased DugZa for 17.5k and retained MZ for 22.5k.

Their new total is 130k - 17.5k - 22.5k= 90k.

The Pokestar Pranksters have self-purchased Bouff for 13k and retained gum for 22k and DripLegend for 13.5k.

Their new total is 130k - 13k - 22k - 13.5k= 81.5k.

The Goofy Goober Goodras have retained LpZ for 23k.

Their new total is 130k - 23k= 107k.

Malignant Chain Snatchers's managers were unable to provide a lineup in time for Week 3. As an immediate result, they were assigned the same lineup as the previous week.

Re: Finals Tiebreak

During Finals tiebreak, a situation occured in which Dj Breloominati♬ forced The KINGPINS to provide a substitute for avarice. The PU Mod team as well as the hosting team has done a thorough investigation of the events that transpired, with assistance from TDs. It has been collectively decided that Dj Breloominati acted in a manner that is considered unsportsmanlike, including:
  • Forcing a substitution/attempting to call activity despite agreeing to flexibility and encouraging avarice to take his time,
  • Not pinging or even messaging the chat where scheduling took place, which included a host and a TD,
  • Not mentioning the full circumstances around the scheduling to the KINGPIN's managers while trying to force a sub.
Dj Breloominati will thus be issued an unsportsmanlike infraction. He will also be ineligible to receive the custom avatar prize from PUPL XI.

Despite this poor conduct, the game itself was still played, and it would not be proper to force it to be replayed. Thus, the result of the games, as well as of the tiebreak as a whole, will stand.

gm. I'm back.

The PU Team has accepted an appeal from Dj Breloominati regarding this issue. Ultimately, customs are typically only removed for instances of cheating or a permalock, and after hearing Dj Breloominati's appeal and further examining the circumstances, PU leaders decided that this should not qualify. However, the offense of unsportsmanlike behavior will stand. Dj Breloominati will be eligible for the custom avatar from PUPL, but the infraction will be upgraded to a 2pt infraction for 3 months. Thank you to the community for the passionate discourse about this issue.
