having a bye just means that you don't have to play this round, the "byes" essentially fill in who would be your opponent

basically it means you autowin the week

  • All matches must be played in the "[Gen 8] National Dex Doubles" format. See the SS National Dex Doubles metagame thread for more information.​
  • This tournament will be Single elimination.
  • Rounds will be Best of Three. You may switch teams in between battles of the same set.
  • Matches must be played on Pokémon Showdown, or SmogTours.
  • Replays are mandatory for all rounds.
  • Activity calls will be made the hosts, with neutral assistance from Smogon tournaments staff if necessary. Coin flips will be done publicly on PS!
  • Only public scheduling (via Smogon profile posts or in this thread) will be accepted for activity calls.
  • In the event something gets banned in the middle of a round, that change will take effect in the next round.
  • Do not cheat. Cheating will result in a disqualification. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary. Cheating includes, but is not limited to:
    • Signing up with more than one account
    • Ghosting or being ghosted by another player (e.g. while playing a set, asking for advice about what team to bring or what plays to make)
    • Manipulating match outcomes (e.g. throwing a match in exchange for Smogon likes)
  • Do not harass or insult your opponents. I reserve the right to disqualify anyone breaking this rule. Additional punishments may be applied as necessary.
