Welcome to BDPL Season X! After a successful Season IX on Smogon, we have returned for the 10th iteration of the biggest tournament hosted annually by the Bangla community. We have decided to move entirely to Smogon not just to elevate the overall quality of the tournament, but this year, the winners of the tournament will be awarded a Custom Avatar, provided we reach an adequate number of signups!

The tournament will consist of 8 teams and the tiers are going to be:

SV OU
Stour Bo3 (SV / SS / SM)
SS OU
SM OU
ORAS OU
SV Ubers
SV UU
SV RU
SV NU
SV Random Battles Bo3
SV Monotype

Criteria to sign up as a manager:

1. Manager has to be in pairs, where at least one of the manager must be from Bangladesh or a native Bangla speaker. We take pride in being part of the Bangla community and this tour allows us to integrate with the greater Smogon Tournaments community.

2. Team Name must have a location name + Pokemon. The location has to be either a division in Bangladesh or a state/region where Bangla is the dominant language. e.g., Dhaka Dracovish

Why should we pick you as manager: Probably the most influential manager in previous editions in terms of how many players I helped develop as evidenced by their involvement over the years in team BD in different formats of world cups. Won s8 and finished first seed in round robin format in majority of the editions. Have experience managing in discord tours. My co Mushfiq and I might be seasonal players but we've done this for a while. Both of us have peaked current gen ladders before. what we can promise the players is that with the two of us there will be a lot of discussion about the games which will either be annoying if you do not like that sort of thing or very fun if you do. I am not too fond of drama but my buddy Mushfiq is. So players will have at least 1 of us siding with them in terms of conflict resolution :3. So buckle up future Mausholds. We are here to make families.

Why should we pick you as manager:
Me and Soumav we both have been a longtime follower and active player in the BDPL scene. Anyone who knows me knows how seriously I take every game — every loss fuels my improvement, and I'm easily one of the most dedicated competitors around.

My track record speaks for itself:

Consistently made playoffs in multiple BDPL seasons honestly lost count at this point.
Proven performance in high pressure slots, especially Gen 8 OU, which I've reliably carried in several tours.
Champion of the Bangladesh Regional Cup Season 1, where I carried the Gen 8 OU slot and 6-0’d my opponent in the final game.

Our manager, Soumav, is one of the oldest and most respected players in the Bangladeshi Pokémon community. He has an impressive track record in World Cups and a solid fanbase backing him with Amaranth being the standout name among his supporters.

With Soumav’s leadership and my support as co-captain, we’re managing Rangpur Roaring Moon with a shared vision: to build a well-prepared, and make a serious run for the title.

I’ve previously managed and won the last NFEPL and i've managed NFEPL V . My experience extends beyond NFEPL I’ve also managed in tours like DPL, RBYPL III, UMPL, and previously Teamballo. What sets me apart is my consistent focus on creating a friendly and easygoing team environment. I believe that while competitive success is important the real essence of this game lies in enjoying the experience and fostering good team spirit. This mindset has always helped my teams perform at their best while building lasting camaraderie. I am the manager of last seasons BDPL leading my team to victory. I've played in a bunch of tours such as ADPL, OUPL, ORASPL, BWPL, HPL etc where I met a lot of people and made friends with a bunch. I do think I can provide a lot of time scouting, helping tests and provide intels in almost all the tiers in this tournament. Why should we pick you as manager:
I’ve had the privilege of leading Team France in both the UU and NU World Cups, while also managing across a wide range of prestigious tournaments, including PTPL, HPL, BSSPL, UUbersPL, RUPL, and several others.
Since beginning my managerial journey on Smogon in 2023, I’ve built a consistent and proven record of success. I led my team to victory in the most recent edition of NFE PL, and I’m also a double UUFPL champion in 2023 and 2025.

My run through the major country PLs has been just as dominant, I reached the finals of the Spanish PL (EPL) in 2023 before winning it all in 2024, then went on to capture Teamballo (Italian PL) and the Chinese PL titles shortly after. All three championships were secured within a span of just six months.

I manage with structure, vision, and a clear competitive identity, always aiming to build teams that play with confidence, cohesion, and belief in their story.

Why should we pick you as manager: I have been manager of SMPL III and IV, SSPL III, UMBD I, Solomods PL, Masters League, NDWC III, OGPL, ISTT, etc tours and won ISTT as manager. Other than these, i have played in numerous number of PLs and have vast experience as a mons player in general. I also played BDPL last yr and our team made semis. On the other hand, Murphy managed OMFL V and NDOTSL II, and won AGWL II as manager and played in AGPL V, HPL IV, NDPL III. We both have known each other and been frnds since 2022. We have also played for Kolkata Koraidon Riders in HPL (a bengali team) in same team
