Please share a resume BEFORE requesting a tryout (this is just preference).
Please treat these tryouts as if you are playing a tournament game. I have had some people not warm up, flippantly click without thinking much, not calc, not feel energized to actually be playing when playing, etc. How can I know you can simply "play better" when it really matters if you don't demonstrate that to me?
Please do not apply for a generation you have relatively little experience in, with the notion you will simply "play it more for us to learn", unless you share that in your posting and show significant skill in your #1 pick.

Gen 2 random battles inclusion was an inaugural-WCOR carve-out, but the randbats player base has wisened dramatically since 2022 and artificially maintaining a Gen 2 randbats spot is no longer appropriate. Yes, Gen 2 random battles "is a thing" inasmuch as there exists a generational cohesion of the randbats tiers—but whenever possible, Gen 2 random battles are discouraged. (Gen 1 Random Battles already specifically exists as a catch-all legacy tier.)
