Ribombee’s ability to set up Sticky Web facilitates a whole host of strong attackers who may struggle to outspeed fast Pokémon, and its high speed allows it to set up Sticky Web in the face of common Taunt users, allowing it near guaranteed setup. Moonblast is the preferred attacking move to hit common lead Pokémon like Zamazenta and Samurott-Hisui harder, as well as deterring Great Tusk from using Rapid Spin to clear Sticky Webs. Skill Swap allows Ribombee to potentially bypass Magic Bounce from Hatterene and Mega Diancie and set up Sticky Web. Stun Spore allows Ribombee to hinder faster Pokémon, especially those unaffected by Sticky Web, such as Dragonite, Choice Scarf Landorus-T, and Tornadus-T. Focus Sash grants Ribombee a guaranteed turn to set up Sticky Web. 192 Defense EVs guarantees Ribombee to live Choice Scarf Urshifu-R’s Surging Strikes, one of the few Pokémon that outspeed Ribombee and bypass Focus Sash.

Ribombee fits on Hyper Offense teams built around Sticky Web. Pokémon like Ogerpon-W, Tapu Lele, Raging Bolt set up incredibly fast with Swords Dance or Nasty Plot, and their decent speed tiers are elevated thanks to Sticky Web. Ogerpon-W in particular fits well due to its ability to counter rain teams, as Pokémon like Swift Swim Barraskewda and Mega Swampert are largely unaffected by Sticky Web in rain. Gholdengo is a great teammate, as it denies most hazard removal while posing an immense threat itself thanks to Nasty Plot. Ceruledge can also be used to deny hazard removal, matching up better into Terapagos. Teammates like Booster Energy Great Tusk boosting its speed and Scale Shot Garchomp can threaten Heavy-Duty Boots Cinderace, denying it from being able to use Court Change. Both also pack the ability to use Stealth Rocks, denying entry opportunities for Mega Chairzard Y and revenge killing slower teammates like Tapu Lele. Even if Cinderace does pull off Court Change, Serperior acts as a great teammate to gain a speed boost from Sticky Web while also punishing Defog attempts. Finally, in the case that Sticky Web gets removed, teammates who function well outside of Sticky Web are also appreciated. Tornadus-T, Weavile, and Booster Energy Iron Valiant all pack great speed tiers and can often win games even without Sticky Web hindering the opponent. The former two also appreciate Great Tusk as a teammate, as it can remove entry hazards that can be greatly detrimental to their health.

Ribombee’s ability to set up Sticky Web facilitates a whole host of strong attackers who may struggle to outspeed fast Pokémon mention how it outspeeds all taunt pokemon so its almost guaranteed to get webs up. Moonblast is the preferred attacking move to hit common lead Pokémon like Zamazenta and Samurott-Hisui harder mention how it stops tusk from spinning away webs. Ribombee fits on Hyper Offense teams built around Sticky Web, and the attackers on these teams commonly focus on their strength while Sticky Web grants them a speed advantage filler. Pokémon like Ogerpon-W, Mega Pinsir, and Thundurus-T Tapu Lele, and Raging Bolt mpinsir is super niche while thundy isnt even ranked set up incredibly fast with Swords Dance or Nasty Plot, and their decent speed tiers are elevated thanks to Sticky Web heavily appreciate Sticky Web support as they wallbreak and sweep. Ogerpon-W in particular fits well due to its ability to counter rain teams, as Pokémon like Swift Swim Barraskewda and Kingdra Mega Swampert not even ranked are largely unaffected by Sticky Web in rain. Gholdengo is a great teammate, as it denies both forms of most hazard removal while posing an immense threat itself thanks to Nasty Plot, (RC) while also packing Psyshock for the stall matchup. too niche Ceruledge can also be used to deny hazard removal, matching up better into Terapagos and packing priority to boot. shadow sneak isnt even good on ceru Finally, in the case that Sticky Web gets removed, teammates who function well outside of Sticky Web are also appreciated. Tornadus-T, Weavile, and Booster Energy Iron Valiant all pack great speed tiers and can often win games even without Sticky Web hindering the opponent. should mention teammates like booster tusk and scale shot chomp that can outspeed and prevent cinderace from using court change; could mention serp to abuse cinder after its clicked that. tusk also removes hazards with spin which is nice for teammates like tornT and weavile; should mention having mons that setup stealth rock to deny zardy from easily revenge killing slower teammates like lele
