AG (QC 0/2) Special Wall (Blissey)

Special Wall (Blissey) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
Tera Type: Grass / Dark
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Soft-Boiled
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball / Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss

Thanks to its tremendous 255 HP and great Special Defense, Blissey finds itself as a staple on stall teams, being able to comfortably take special attacks from the likes of Miraidon, Calyrex-S, and Kyogre while staying healthy with Soft-Boiled. Blissey's ability allows it to safely absorb statuses such as Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave from support Arceus formes and Toxic from Eternatus, Clodsire, and Gliscor. Calm Mind allows Blissey to check opposing Pokemon that boost their Special Attack, such as Calm Mind Miraidon, Kyogre, and Arceus-Fairy, while also boosting the damage of Shadow Ball. Shadow Ball allows Blissey to hit Calyrex-S supereffectively, while Seismic Toss allows Blissey to deal consistent damage against non-Ghost-types and Calm Mind users like Kyogre and Arceus-Fairy. If needed, Blissey can also provide teams with Stealth Rock support, but at the cost of being able to hit Calyrex-S. A Tera type of Grass provides Blissey with a resistance to Electro Drift from Miraidon and Water-type moves from Kyogre, while Tera Dark gives Blissey an immunity to Psyshock from Calyrex-S, while keeping a resistance to Astral Barrage. Due to already having an enormous HP stat, Blissey prefers to run 252 Defense over 252 HP to help against U-turn Miraidon.

Although Blissey has great Special Defense, it is very vulnerable to physical attacks. Because of this, physically defensive Pokemon such as Dondozo, Alomomola, and Skeledirge complement Blissey very well. Dondozo and Skeledirge can check most physical attackers like Koraidon and Zacian-C and Arceus, all Pokemon that are very troublesome Pokemon for Blissey. Blissey also appreciates other special walls like Ho-Oh, and Clodsire as Blissey can be overwhelmed with enough pressure, such as by Taunt Miraidon, which can power through Blissey after enough chip. Pokemon like Muk-A and Mandibuzz are able to wall most Calyrex-S sets, while Clodsire can check Kyogre, relieving pressure off of Blissey.

Tera Ground can be used for an immunity to Miraidon's Electro Drift if needed. However, it leaves Blissey susceptible to Water-type moves from Kyogre, making it generally an inferior version of Tera Grass. Thunder Wave to cripple Tera Poison users like Calm Mind Kyogre and Calm Mind Arceus-Fairy the opposing team. Heal Bell is a niche supporting option for Blissey, curing status like Toxic on Alomomola and Ho-Oh, while also awakening Dondozo using Rest.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Attackers**: Blissey takes massive damage from physical attackers, with some Pokemon such as Koraidon and Zacian-C threatening to OHKO Blissey.

**Taunt Users**: Taunt prevents Blissey from using Calm Mind and Soft-Boiled, allowing Taunt users such as Miraidon and Arceus to break Blissey much easier.

**Psyshock Users**: Psyshock targets Blissey's poor Physical Defense, allowing Psyshock users like Calyrex-S to break Blissey after boosting their Special Attack

AMQC! This will not count towards [QC 0/2]

Thanks to its tremendous 255 HP and great Special Defense, Blissey finds itself as a staple on stall teams. Its great HP and Special Defense (This feels a lil bit repetitive since you mention hp and spd in the first sentence, I would just combine the sentences into something like "Thanks to its tremendous special bulk, Blissey is a staple on stall teams, where it can comfortably absorb special attacks from the likes of Miraidon, Calyrex-S and Kyogre while staying healthy with Soft Boiled." You can also def reword that however you'd like) stats allow Blissey to comfortably take special attacks from the likes of Miraidon, Calyrex-S, and Kyogre while staying healthy with Soft-Boiled. Its Blissey's ability allows Blissey it (small gp change) to safely absorb statuses such as Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave from support Arceus formes and Toxic from Eternatus, Clodsire, and Gliscor. Calm Mind allows Blissey to check opposing Pokemon that boost their Special Attack (add comma) such as Calm Mind Miraidon, Kyogre, and Arceus-Fairy, while also boosting the damage of Shadow Ball to some degree. Shadow Ball allows Blissey to hit Calyrex-S supereffectively, while Seismic Toss allows Blissey to deal consistent damage against non-Ghost-types and Calm Mind users like Kyogre and Arceus-Fairy. If needed, Blissey can also provide your teams with Stealth Rock support, but at the cost of being able to hit Calyrex-S (extra space) . (Amazing first para, great job!!)

Although Blissey has great Special Defense, it is very vulnerable to physical attacks. Because of this, physically defensive Pokemon such as Dondozo, Garganacl, and Skeledirge (mention alo asw) complement Blissey very well. Dondozo and Skeledirge can check most physical attackers like Koraidon and Zacian-C, while Garganacl is able to check Arceus, (all previous mons also check arceus, I'm having a hard time rephrasing it to make this sentence work, but if you can, go for it. otherwise i would just remove garg) all Pokemon that are very troublesome Pokemon for Blissey. Blissey also appreciates other special walls like Ho-Oh, and Clodsire as Blissey can be overwhelmed with enough pressure (mention what pressure specifically, (hdb taunt mirai). Pokemon like Muk-A and Mandibuzz are able to counter wall most Calyrex-S sets, while Clodsire can check Kyogre, relieving pressure off of Blissey.

Tera Ground can be used for an immunity to Miraidon's Electro Drift if needed. However, it leaves Blissey susceptible to Water-type moves from Kyogre, making it generally an inferior version of Tera Grass. If you are (generally don't address the reader directly) using Blissey on a non-stall team, you can consider Thunder Wave to cripple attackers on the opposing team. (There is never going to be a scenario where blissey has a good reason to be on a non stall team. twave is also usable on stall to cripple certain t poison attackers like cm ogre and cm fairy. i would suggest rewriting this sentence) Heal Bell is a niche supporting option for Blissey, curing status like Toxic from Alomomola and Ho-Oh, while also awakening Dondozo using Rest. can also be used if wanting to cure statuses (I expanded on this sentence a bit, talk a bit about why it isn't optimal).

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Attackers**: Blissey takes massive damage from physical attackers, with some Pokemon such as Koraidon and Zacian-C threatening to OHKO Blissey with Close Combat and other strong STAB moves (fluff).

**Taunt Users**: Taunt prevents Blissey from using Calm Mind and Soft-Boiled, allowing Taunt users such as Miraidon and Arceus to break Blissey much easier.

**Psyshock Users**: Psyshock targets Blissey's poor Physical Defense, allowing Psyshock users like Calyrex-S and Hatterene (i talked to QC members, psyshock hatt isn't real enough in this meta to be mentioned here) to break Blissey after boosting their Special Attack.

**Encore Calyrex-S**: Encore can force Blissey to waste Soft-Boiled PP, or lock Blissey into Seismic Toss, Calm Mind, or another passive move, making Blissey extremely vulnerable. (I disagree, its not like calys can run both psyshock and encore, so it cant really exploit blissey being locked in to something. the stall user can just go dark type calys check --> blissey and be completely fine asw)
