Read this:
  • CAP 36 shiny submissions will be submitted in pairs. This means that each final submission post should have two images: the first containing the front/back sprite for CAP 36-A and the second containing the front/back sprite for CAP 36-B. You may use different palettes between CAP 36-A and CAP 36-B.
  • When making shinies, use the sprites posted within this post, rather than ones that have been posted in previous threads. The sprites posted here have been edited to make them easier to work with when creating shinies.

The rules are listed below with changes highlighted in green.

  • The post must have "Final Submission" (in bold) as the first line, then the sprites for CAP 36-A (both sprites in one image), then the sprites for CAP 36-B (both sprites in another image), and any additional description or comments (if applicable) below them.
  • The final submission images must be hosted on a reliable image hosting service (such as Smogon forums or Imgur). Do not use the 'Attach a photo' tool on messaging apps (e.g. Discord). Do not use Iaza or Ezimba.
  • Only make one (1) final submission post.

After some lengthy discussion, the mods have decided to look at a particular rule regarding the quirkiness of the mane. In short, the quirk revolves around how the mane's colors in the art is considered a gradual range of colors, whereas the sprite can only feasibly replicate it using limited bands of color. The issue that arises is whether we should be treating the two ends of this gradual range as a gradual shift between the two, or whether each individual band is considered its own color. The discussion ended with treating the bands as a collective color.

As such, only Samirsin's was DQ'ed by this due to the huge shift between the two colored endpoints effectively treating the bands as its own color.

The other two are the following:
  • Chillie - white bg
  • CapitanPabloskii - incorrectly palette swapped by introducing additional colors
