:ss/meowth-alola:
Name: Meowth-Alola
Type: Dark
Stat Changes: 40 / 45 / 35 / 50 / 50 / 90 | 310
Abilities: Pickup / Technician / Faux Fur (Dazzling + Fur Coat)
New Moves: Sucker Punch, Dazzling Gleam
Justification: completes the cat trio by adding a wacky offensive utility that can switch into stuff like corphish and threaten it with dgleam while also distinguishing itself from stunky by having pivoting and knock, can maybe use tech with plot but not sure
:ss/hatenna:
Name: Hatenna
Type: Psychic / Fairy
Stat Changes: 47 / 30 / 50 / 56 / 53 / 39 | 275
New Moves: Covet
Justification: i found nothing about this mon so i was more conservative about the changes but it can live knocks and uturns now
Name: Shuppet :shuppet:
Type: Ghost-Fairy
Stats changes: +30 Attack, +10 Defense, +10 Sp. Def., -20 Sp. Atk, -30 Speed
Abilities: Insomnia, Prankster, Cursed Body.
Movepool changes: +Spirit Break

Hello, LC Mega Banette but better. With the new typing, Shuppet not only checks quite a lot of Mons, but also hits extremely hard with Poltergeist. It already was the physically strongest Ghost of the Tier, but its now even better at that, with 105 Attack (which is still lower than the insanity Cranidos has, though). Shuppet now is really slow (only Trapinch is slower), but fixes that with Prankster + Thunder Wave. The immune to Prankster Dark types are hit by Spirit Break, though Stunky, Alolan Grimer and especially Pawniard can switch into that. As a last resort, Shuppet can use Destiny Bond to take a foe out. Shuppet's main weakness is that as ghost STAB it has to use Poltergeist, which means teammates can,t use Knock Off.
Name: :Charcadet:
Type: Fire / Fighting
Stat Changes: 40 / 60 / 40 / 50 / 40 / 80 | 355
Abilities: Flash Fire / Flame Body / Quark Drive (HA)
New Moves: Close Combat, Swords Dance, Power-Up Punch, Psycho Cut
Justification: Iron Moth X iron hand sweeper
And my
:duskull:
Name: Duskull
Type: Ghost / Dark
Stat Changes: Unchanged
Abilities: Levitate
New Moves: Recover, Super Fang, Knock Off
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Adding on to the low dark type count by making Duskull more of a proper bulky mon. Like Tepig it sits around spreading status and healing, but suffers from being a bit passive and getting scared off by the likes of Swablu and the like.

Here's the tally:

We will be hosting some roomtours in dh on the weekends whose time we stilll need to fully figure out, but for now, I would like to give my thanks to everyone who contributed to this mod. This has been one of the most unique metas I had the pleasure of making and playing, and hopefully it will continue to grow. Thanks to our leader Quinn, my other council members in Nashrock and Zcarlett, and anyone who submitted or played the meta.

We will be hosting a couple of tours this weekend!

The times of the tours are the following (keep in mind these times are not quite final, we can get a couple more tours depending on availability:
<t:1745697600:F>
<t:1745712000:F>
<t:1745784000:F>
<t:1745798400:F>

Additionally, we will work on some resources such as sample sets throughout the week.

:Corphish: Corphish Nerf :Corphish:
Changes:
Base Attack reduced: 80 → 50
Flip Turn removed from movepool

Why It Was Nerfed:
Corphish has been nerfed because overwhelming power of its Choice Scarf set. With base 80 Attack and Adaptability-boosted Crabhammer and Knock Off, Scarf Corphish was capable of 2HKOing nearly every mon in the tier. Even the bulky resists would crumble due to it getting knocked of and later flip turned spammed on. With these changes jolly set won't be able to get 2hkos vs the bulky Pokémon. While the adamant set can still 2hko some threats it comes with the trade of being 19 speed with a choice scarf or 1+ speed wich makes to slow to outspeed Pokémon like voltorb.

Little Colosseum is part of the PMPL, check it out!

:bulbasaur: Heat rock is now banned from Little Colosseum! :bellsprout:
QuinnNashrockZcarlettGekokeso
BanBanBanAbstain

Why It Was Banned:
Sun teams have been proving to be just as powerful as they were in normal little cup, who just a couple of months ago received a ban on the item heat rock due to the inherent opressive nature of Sun abusers like Torchic or Bulbasaur. While Little Colosseum has provided quite a decent amount of new pokémon who can help deal with sun such as Tepig or Jangmo-o, it also provided the tier with abusers like Charcadet and Fletchling, being in general a very dire matchup if you don't have the tools to deal with it. Given the enviroment has not changed enough to justify its existence in this tier, the council has decided to ban it.

Tagging Yoshiblaze to implement.

PMPL teams:

Week 1:

:charcadet: :wattrel: :voltorb_hisui: :tinkatink: :tentacool: :meowth_alola: https://pokepast.es/34ea7363dfe5940a

The first thing I wanted to use was Charcadet in Electric Terrain. Since there are no Electric Surge Mons in the Meta, 2 manual setters had to be used. Tinkatink and Tentacool are the Hazards Mons, while Meowth offered some nice resistances and acted as a fast pivot and Knock user. Week 1 was the only week in which I tested what I built and this team looked really bad in tests, so I had to build more.

:dratini: :tinkatink: :silicobra: :ekans: :swablu: :meowth_alola: https://pokepast.es/43b67f02075611a9

Team with 3 snakes, around Dratini and its signature move Coil Mind. Silicobra, Tinkatink and Swablu are proven Mons at this point, Ekans is the other Snake who absorbs Tspikes and Intimidates, Meowth continues being a fast pivot, but this time it also paralyzes. In fact, everyone except Dratini paralyzes. In case opponent isn,t paralyzed, Dratini can use Scale Shot to boost the Speed, at the expense of Defense.

:dratini: :tinkatink: :silicobra: :mareanie: :swablu: :meowth_alola: https://pokepast.es/d36e0d954426ed71

Updated version of the above team, since Mareanie is obviously a better Mon than Ekans. Since Ekans was a Knock Off user, Meowth now uses a physical set.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/...eumlc-15445-3xd3tt7yt6y7uj4lb05lyy17pg5rwwqpw < Game vs Feen was a war of attrition that I eventually lost, his Mons hit harder than mine.

Week 2:

:chespin: :duskull: :meowth_galar: :sandshrew: :mareanie: :scyther: https://pokepast.es/16e5f720d9bec3cf

From week 2, I started building just 1 team and playing the game without previous tests. This team has a strong defensive core and a Scyther to revenge kill. Chespin puts Spikes, phazes with Circle Throw and fully walls Foonguss, though with Tepig existing, this is not important. Meowth Galar puts the Rocks and Knocks, while walling Fairies. Duskull has enormous bulk and 4 immunities, with a 5th one provided by Tera. Its a Spinblocker that spreads burns and Knocks. Sandshrew spins, it specifically has Tera Blast Fairy in case opponent uses a Duskull too, otherwise it would be walled. Mareanie is the mandatory Poison of the team that also has offensive presence. Scyther revenge kills everything and abuses the Knock Off abundance to launch Acrobatics.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/...eumlc-15721-gztj00p6o5rxo9a7y6h14m12cf1gvqwpw < I managed to put hazards and kill Mienfoo before Camden's Flittle tried to sweep. Sandshrew was bulky enough to wistand Tera Blast at +1 without the need of Tera, which allowed me to use it later to wall opposing Alolan Sandshrew with Duskull. This battle was very useful for me, since it made me realize that Mareanie is better using Sludge Wave than Sludge Bomb due to Chespin and Jangmo-o existing.

Week 3:

:bramblin: :glimmet: :tyrogue: :pawniard: :tepig: :swablu: https://pokepast.es/e0e04398c2578660

Another Spike Stack. This one uses the dangerous LO Bramblin, who boostes Speed each turn and hits very hard. Since the Ghost STAB is Poltergeist, I am forced to not use Knock Off at all, which is another reason to use a lot of Hazards to wear down the opposition. Glimmet is the Hazard setter of choice this time, it puts a lot of them while removing Toxic Spikes from opposing Glimmet. Of course, Spikes= Spinner needed, not Defogger. Therefore I have the unwallable spinner Tyrogue. Pawniard is the best Dark type that doesn,t use Knock Off, instead it uses its Defensive profile to wall opposing Ghosts and paralyze stuff. Tepig walls Voltorb in case Bramblin doesn,t. It also uses Roar to accumulate hazards damage. Finally, I was lacking a fast Mon and several resistances, like Fight (Bramblin is not reliable at taking hits). Instead of using a fast Mon, I decided to go with Scarf Swablu. In some match-ups it will revenge kill stuff or surprise burn with WoW. In others, it will take Knock Off and use powerful Acrobatics.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/...eumlc-16215-dhge5fyn302ovu5ukpv5ppyr8n71ri1pw < Opponent commited the big mistake of not bringing a Poison Mon in a Glimmet Tier, so the match-up was easy. Despite that, I almost threw the game at the very beginning by using Bullet Seed into Scyther, fortunately, 3 hits were enough to kill it. Bramblin was forced to die quickly, but it did kill 1,75 Mons.

Week 4:

:shuppet: :pawniard: :fletchling: :bramblin: :mareanie: :tepig: https://pokepast.es/51c6ad76e6057a9c

Shuppet is another Mon that in order to be used to the fullest, requires not using Knock Off, therefore we again bring a hazard stack. Instead of using Prankster Destiny Bond to kill things, I decided to use a bulky Shuppet with Restalk, this way it would hit with priority and since I wouldn,t know what move will be triggered with Sleep Talk... neither will the opponent, so prediction is impossible (except sending a Dark type when Shuppet is asleep). Pawniard this time is the Mon who puts Hazards, while Mareanie is the poison. Bramblin is a second Ghost, but this time its a bulky set with Spikes + Spin. The 2 Fire types provide both offensive power to revenge kill and defensive sinergy.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/dragonheaven-gen9littlecolosseumlc-16624-nullpw < Not investing in Fletching's Speed almost proved to be fatal vs Zastra when his Alolan Sandshrew moved first. Fortunately, that was the beginning of a battle in which I lucked Zastra a lot, Fletching avoided the hit. Later, Shuppet had luck with Sleep Talk, while Tepig burned Mienfoo. Zastra almost won despite that, but used SD instead of an offensive move vs Mareanie at the end, allowing me to win.

Semifinals:

:voltorb_hisui: :tepig: :scyther: :sandshrew_alola: :koffing: :jangmo-o: https://pokepast.es/5ca35b4ea124dc2f

In Semis I decided to not overcomplicate the building and just bring good Mons. The only requisite was not having a Poison Mon weak to Gothita, since my opponent was Zastra again and he used it last time. Koffing was the choice. Other than it, the Mons are fairly standard, 2 fast Volturn users, 4 bulky Mons but not too passive.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/dragonheaven-gen9littlecolosseumlc-17582-nullpw < Once again, poor Zastra got epicly haxed. His Mons were all blind and couldn,t land their strongest Mons. Meanwhile, my Alolan Sandshrew was very smart and missed Triple Axel twice vs Voltorb, avoing Static this way. My own Voltorb also landed 3 crits and paralyzed opposing Jangmo-o with Static before dying. Unfortunately, despite this unfair win, Semis is when the tour ended for our team.

Btw, has someone used Corphish in this tour? I think it got nerfed too harshly, both Stats drops and Flip Turn removal at the same time is too much. In my opinion, it should have been tested with Stats drop alone first and if proven still broken, Flip Turn could be removed. After all, the Tier does have a lot of Water immunities.
