yap session abt the new guys

sligma: flavor may be one big shitpost but this is a well thought-out sub. ost mons from the first slate are special-favored so having a mon to reliably check them is nice, fire/dragon is a good but fallible type combo, idk why its mega has massive phys attack but ok. One thing I wanted to note here is the speed dynamics between sligma the other new mons: base outspeeds lickitung while tying EVIL registeel / grimace but its mega is slower than all of them.

EVIL registeel: If this won in like slate 8 or 9 or smth it would have been stupid, but since it's early on, an unga bunga big attacker guy is fine. this guy feels borderline with the 150 attacking stats but its probably fine: no SD to fire nuclear bullet punches, does have nasty plot but it's really held back by its low speed. Can see a offensive utility set for this with sr and obstruct

lickitung-parched: My sub. Only thing I really want to comment on is that I may have understatted this guy? I know I didn't want to make attack too high because although technician prio is not a novel concept, rock is a notoriously strong offensive type. Will definitely be viable at the moment due to its type matchups but I fear it will be power crept if more mons with beefstick statlines get added in future slates.

melmetal-chisel: No offense but I don't don't really see the hype with this guy. Ice/Steel is a deceptively bad typing, and while you can predict or bait fire moves to activate cooling system, the ability isn't reliable enough to establish a rain archetype. I guess psuedo-STAB liquidation is neat? Not going to say it's bad though, it's got a fat statline and retains access to STAB dib sooo

grimace-alola: Didn't vote for this guy personally because it felt a little too similar to rotom and the inclusion of volt absorb felt is kinda a cheap response to the electrics, but he's alright. Fire STAB on 115 spatk gives it an offensive presence, if this had one more utility move on top of knock + toxic I could confidently call this a good mon. Also epic iron fist reference???

SLATE 3: PADDING OUT THE POSSIBILITIES!
There's the ringing of the bell, the sounds of a NEW SLATE. the noise of "developing the Metagame",
also after this slate all the mons in it (and the past 2) will be..... public domain. (we get to do the funny thing hell yeah.)

but funnies aside, for this slate, you can sub mons with the Normal, Fighting, Fairy, Bug, Psychic, and Water types!
slate lasts until august 7th. c'mon and sub your mons. hehe

Name: Crossbones (the other one) (100% Male.)
Type: Ground / Fighting
Abilities: Justified / Long Reach (Scrappy)
Stats: 76/105/75/57/75/122 (510 BST)
Weight: 5. (66 KG)
Movepool: (Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Take Down, Facade, Substitute, Tera Blast, Protect, Endure, Sleep Talk, Rest)
Bone Rush, Bonemerang, Bone Club, High Horsepower, Mud Slap, Mud Shot, Earth Power, Spikes, Arm Thrust, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Circle Throw, Close Combat, Coaching, Counter, Cross Chop, Detect, Drain Punch, Dynamic Punch, Flying Press, Grappling Hook, Jump Kick, Mach Punch, Power-up Punch, Revenge, Reversal, Superpower, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Fake Out, Body Slam, Swift, Slack Off, Double Team, Pursuit, Knock Off, Taunt, Shadow Bone, Shadow Sneak, Snipe Shot, Gunk Shot, Gravity, Rock Blast.
Grappling Hook: 60 BP, Fighting Type, Physical, 32 PP, 100% Accuracy, Bullet. User switches out after damaging the target.
Role: not sans Undertale (Fast Offensive Pivot, / Stallbreaker)
Reasoning: The meta's a bit slow, so here's a Mon that's actually pretty fast with a fair bit of Pivoting and Hazards.

:marill: :keldeo-resolute:
Name: Seabun [+Seabun-Resolute] (transforms into Resolute with Seabun Sword.)
Type: Water / Fairy [Fairy / Fighting]
Abilities: Cute Charm / Unaware (Cotton Down) [Shower Power]
Stats: 85/50/95/85/90/35 (440 BST) [85/110/95/50/85/110 (540 BST)]
Weight: 16.5 KG
Movepool: Azumarill's NatDex Movepool - Belly Drum, Scald, Superpower, Curse + Wish, Slack Off, Sacred Sword, Focus Blast, Seabun Sword, Flip Turn, Hone Claws.
Shower Power: Solar Power but for rain. Boosts Attack instead of Special Attack.
Seabun Sword: 85 BP, Fairy type, Physical, 16 PP, 100% Accuracy, Contact, Slicing, Hits on the opponent's Special Defense.
Role: single mom that works 3 jobs (Physically Defensive / Mixed Wall, Cleric. Resolute Form: Offensive Rain Sweeper / Breaker)
Reasoning: With the advent of Melmetal-Chisel bringing rain (I think), I've decided to create a Mon that's able to help the advent of more Rain.. in only one form. Base Seabun is inherently, your average Defensive Water / Fairy with some utility, and a way to halt the offensive setup sweepers. But Seabun-Resolute? Seabun-Resolute is an offensive sweeper under rain with a great offensive typing not set back by strong physically defensive Pokemon though its Signature move., though with a lack of Setup of its own, ironically.

Big Clefable
Type: Fairy
Abilities: Star Guard / Steadfast / Unaware
Star Guard - Immune to indirect damage while Meteor Shower is active
Stats: 125/110/83/65/70/60 (513)
Weight: 320 kg
Movepool: Clefable -Calm Mind +Magnitude +Heat Crash
Role: Physdef Fairy / Meteor Mash clicker in Meteor Shower
Reasoning: I was gonna do something else but then it imported the image in so big it made me a little scared

1754183253654.png

Bugged Porygon
Type: Normal / Bug
Abilities: Malfunction
Malfunction:
On entry, lowers the Pokémon's Attack or Special Attack by one stage depending on the target's weaker defense. Lowers Attack if the stats are tied.
Stats: 85/105/70/155/75/100 (590)
Weight: 40.4 kg
Movepool: Porygon-Z +Bug Buzz +U-Turn
Role: It's got enough attack that U-Turn is gonna sting. Otherwise it's Pory with better stats but arguably worse typing and detrimental ability. Slower than Whatsappdos. Swift clicker in Meteor Shower.
Reasoning: Bug like computer Bug get it? I'm so original.

Name: Pirasect
Type: Bug / Water
Stats: 95 / 105 / 95 / 71 / 105 / 99 | 570
Abilities: Swift Swim / Plunder (This Pokemon's first attack steals the target's last move, if any, from their moveset and adds it to its own. Once per battle.)
Movepool: Blunderblast*, Aerial Ace, Ally Switch, Aqua Jet, Assurance, Blizzard, Bubble Beam, Bug Bite, Bug Buzz, Charge Beam, Chilling Water, Confide, Crabhammer, Dark Pulse, Double Team, Electroweb, Endure, Energy Ball, Explosion, Extreme Speed, Facade, Fell Stinger, Flash, Fly, Frustration, Fury Cutter, Giga Drain, Giga Impact, Gravity, Gunk Shot, Hidden Power, Hone Claws, Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam, Ice Beam, Infestation, Iron Defense, Last Resort, Leech Life, Light Screen, Liquidation, Lock-On, Magic Coat, Magnet Rise, Muddy Water, Protect, Psychic, Pursuit, Quick Attack, Rain Dance, Razor Shell, Recycle, Reflect, Rest, Return, Rock Polish, Round, Screech, Secret Power, Self-Destruct, Shadow Claw, Shock Wave, Signal Beam, Simple Beam, Slash, Sleep Talk, Snore, Solar Beam, Struggle Bug, Substitute, Surf, Swagger, Swift, Telekinesis, Thief, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Toxic, Tri Attack, Trick, U-turn, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Waterfall, Whirlpool, X-Scissor, Zap Cannon, Zen Headbutt
*Blunderblast | Bug | Physical | 100 BP | 100% Acc | 5 PP | Bullet | This move is Bug-type or the type of the Drive the user is holding, whichever deals more damage.
Weight: 82.5 kg
Role: Offensive Pivot, Rain Abuser
Flavor: pirate genesect
Reasoning: wacky mon that can steal recovery/hazards/hazard control from the opponent. checks melm and hamburger quite well but outsped by whatsappdos and the bug makes it not resist stuff from grimace/sligma and locks it into boots pretty much

:ss/diggersby::ss/azumarill:
Name: Diggarill
Type: Ground / Fairy
Stats: 100 / 50 / 80 / 80 / 80 / 60 | 450
Abilities: Thick Fat / Huge Power / Sap Sipper

Weight: 35.5 kg
Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Mixed Tank
Flavor: double bunny
Reasoning: uses its great typing to switch into minior swarm and kinda into sligma/grimace/lickitung. from there it has good utility in knock/spikes/uturn and maybe some sd options idk. its still slow af and totally owned by rotom-c though

Name: Rillaboom(-Mega) (evolves with the Rillaboomite)
Type: Grass / Fighting

Mega Stats: 100 / 80 / 110 / 135 / 100 / 105 | 630
Abilities: Overgrow / Grassy Surge
Mega Ability: Supreme Simian (This Pokemon's attacks deal 1.1x more damage per allied Monkey on its team.)
Movepool: Aura Sphere, Acrobatics, Assurance, Attract, Body Press, Body Slam, Branch Poke, Brick Break, Brutal Swing, Bulk Up, Bulldoze, Bullet Seed, Darkest Lariat, Dark Pulse, Double Hit, Double-Edge, Drain Punch, Drum Beating*, Earthquake, Endeavor, Endure, Energy Ball, Facade, Fake Out, False Swipe, Fling, Focus Blast, Focus Energy, Focus Punch, Frenzy Plant, Giga Drain, Giga Impact, Grass Knot, Grass Pledge, Grassy Glide, Grassy Terrain, Growl, Growth, Hammer Arm, High Horsepower, Hyper Beam, Hyper Voice, Knock Off, Leaf Storm, Leech Seed, Low Kick, Low Sweep, Magical Leaf, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Mud Shot, Nature Power, Noble Roar, Protect, Razor Leaf, Rest, Round, Scary Face, Scratch, Screech, Seed Bomb, Slam, Sleep Talk, Sludge Bomb, Snarl, Snore, Solar Beam, Solar Blade, Stomping Tantrum, Strength, Substitute, Sunny Day, Superpower, Swift, Synthesis, Take Down, Taunt, Tera Blast, Thief, Trailblaze, U-turn, Uproar, Wood Hammer, Work Up, Worry Seed
*Drum Beating | Grass | Special | 80 BP | 100% Acc | 10 PP | Sound | 1.5x power if this move was used last turn.
Weight: 90 kg
Role: Grassy Terrain setter, Offensive Pivot, Monkey Abuser
Flavor: big monkey
Reasoning: we got 5 ground weaks so im balancing it out with a ground resist. also provides pseudo ground resist with gterrain (hamburger can still use headlong or hhp if it wants) and some residual healing to stuff like melm. checks hamburger and soft checks to evil registeel and lickitung but gets beat p easily by whatsappdos, rotom-c, sligmamega, and grimace. mega mints a new monkey archetype

Weight: 256.5kg
Custom Elements:
Normal Surge: On switch-in, the user creates Normal Terrain for 5 turns, 8 if holding a Terrain Extender.
While Normal Terrain is active, grounded Pokemon deal 1.3x damage with their Normal-type attacks, take 3/4 damage from super-effective moves, and take 4/3 damage from not very effective moves.
Normal Terrain -
Normal.png
Status.png
10 PP, -- Acc | Creates Normal Terrain for 5 turns, 8 if holding a Terrain Extender. (obligatory terrain setting move)
Role: Terrain setter, Utility pivot, Choice Item User
Description: This was going to be a STAB ESpeed guy at first, but on second thought we have enough prio-abusing mons this early on, and you know what, meteor shower is kinda cringe too, so screw it, I'm adding normal terrain. Obviously supports Normal-types with the power boost, but also mons with poor types offensively a/o defensively with its Solid Rock + mini Tinted Lens effect.
Normie's other ability options aren't really worth it over Normal Surge, but the mon can still do things outside of terrain shenanigans, with decent bulk and support options such as Court Change, Knock Off, and Encore. Offenses are mediocre but are just enough that choice item sets are likely to be viable, and it gets both Swords Dance and Nasty Plot; scarf sets would be a little less desireable at the moment because Normie has a pretty solid speed tier, only being outsped by Whatsappdos and Minior-Swarm.
Flavor: Glalie but they got their life together and are now a functioning member of society. They're normal.

might do more subs this slate idk

Name: Gardevoir Supreme
Type: Psychic / Fairy
Abilities: Trace / Competitive / Mysterious Surge
Stats: 68/65/65/125/115/100 (538 BST)
Weight: vanilla Mega Gardevoir's weight
Movepool: Gardevoir's National Dex movepool, -Calm Mind, Focus Blast, +Recover, Psycho Boost, Earth Power
Custom Elements:
Mysterious Surge: On switch-in, set Wonder Room for 5 turns.
Role: Think of Gardevoir, but with a speed stat higher than 80 and an ability that sets a very potent (for better & for worse) field effect for 5 turns. Wonder Room lets it bypass normally very specially defensive pokemon and lets it stomach a physical attack heading its way, letting it subvert its matchups with relatively little effort. However, if you don't necessarily appreciate having all of your defenses swapped, you can also run Competitive and serve as a very potent Defog deterrent.
Reasoning: i didn't put "#1 Gardevoir Enjoyer" into my bio for nothing, did i?

:sv/toxapex:
Name: Toxapex-Bandana
Type: Water/Poison
Abilities: Gorilla Tactics / Intimidate
Stats: 50/63/152/53/142/35 (495 BST)
Weight: vanilla Toxapex stuff
Movepool: Toxapex's Gen 9 movepool, +Knock Off, Superpower, Drain Punch, Ice Punch, Barb Barrage
Role: vanilla Toxapex shenanigans, only this time it can actually go on the offensive. it loses Regenerator, but it does have Intimidate, which while definitely no Regenerator, is still a strong ability in its own right. Gorilla Tactics helps it go on the offensive, turning its meager base 63 attack into something actually usable.
Reasoning: a Toxapex once donned a choice band and became known as "Bandana". when asked about it, it said "i regret nothing".

Movepool: (Nat Dex Calyrex-Ice) (-) Glacial Lance, Snowscape, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Blizzard, Icicle Spear, Icicle Crash, Avalanche
Description: Powerful wallbreaker which encourages some form of speed control due to all the slow bastards we have in the tier. Hates the rocks and steels in the tier but can break through some after an SD.
Positive Matchups: Rotom, Grimer-Alola, Sligma
Negative Matchups: Minior, Whatsappdos, Lickitung-Parched(Defensive), Evil Registeel

Type: Water/Grass

Stats: 80/90/75/85/70/100
Weight: 20 kg
Movepool: (Ogerpon-Wellspring (-) Power Whip, Ivy Cudgel, Knock Off
Junior Cudgel (100BP Water Physical Move, 16 pp, Makes Contact)
Description: SD sweeper designed to give Moldengo, and the Electrics more to target. Losing Knock and PW makes you noticeably easier to wall in a teraless metagame, and can also encourage you to use this mon for more utility purposes like setting spikes, encoring sweepers, and pivoting with U-turn. Defiant can also have you act as a defog deterrent, given that that is our only form of removal. Can form a breaking core with offensive Lickitung and Sligma-Mega sets, as they can handle the flying and electric types which give you trouble while you pressure the Hamburger for them in return.
Positive Matchups: Lickitung, Grimer-Alola, Hamburger, Sligma,
Negative Matchups: Whatsappdos, Rotom, Melmetal, Moldengo

1754298527366.png

Name: The Joker (Male only)
Type: Poison/Fairy
Abilities: Vat of Acid (Moves used by this Pokemon have a 30% chance to poison, this can also poison Steel types)/Dancing With The Devil(During a Meteor Shower, bounces back status moves)/Prankster
Stats: 89/91/68/77/100/123
Weight: 25.5 kg
Movepool: Acid, Acid Spray, Acid Armor, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, U-turn, Parting Shot, Beat Up, Wish, Healing Wish, Recover, Play Rough, Dazzling Gleam, Fake Tears, Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Discharge, Charge, Misty Explosion, Explosion, Self Destruct, Taunt, Encore, Dark Pulse, Foul Play, Burning Jealousy, Springtide Storm, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Spin Out, Misty Terrain, Follow Me, Flamethrower, Inferno, Overheat, Fire Blast, Protect, Rest, Double Edge, Return, Substitute,
Description: Fast SPDEF Pivot with either prankster wish pass or status spreading with beat up and turn. Enjoys the prescence of Ligma-Mega and Minior as our most prominent special breakers, and is a hazard setter/fast pivot in a very slow relatively hazardless meta. Gives Registeel and especially Melmetal more to do and target, although Vat Of Acid sets match up better into both. Provides eject button utility on Meteor Shower teams as well as being able to generally keep up tempo and bring in offensive Grimaces.
Positive Matchups: Sligma, Minior, Moldengo
Negative Matchups: Rotom, Melmetal, Evil Registeel, Grimace-Alola

....That went VERY well. Once again, none of the new Ruby Copyright members got any votes, it appears they were simply no match for the old timers with new twists! It is clear being pure-typed isn't going to cut it...unless, of course...you make them UNIQUE. The status report for the Ruby Copyright will only begin once one of them wins...and sometimes, the best way to do so is to go all out!

Abilities
: Seven Forbidden Recipes
Stats: 74/121/120/72/102/110 (599)
Weight: 12.3 kg.
Movepool: Recipe Strike, Low Sweep, Arm Thrust, Vital Throw, Triple Arrows, Close Combat, Knock Off Low Kick, Low Sweep, Body Press, Brick Break, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Acrobatics, Air Slash, Trailblaze, Earthquake, Earth Power, Scorching Sands, Body Slam, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Iron Head, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Take Down, Facade, Tera Blast
Custom Elements:
Seven Forbidden Recipes: This Pokémon has seven unique moves in addition to it's four moves. They are all Status moves with -6 Priority and 1 PP. They are:
Banira: Normal-type, raises Master Gour's Attack by 3.
Ringo: Fire-type, burns the target.
Orenji: Ground-type, clears all weathers and terrains.
Banana: Electric-type, paralyzes the target.
Raimu: Grass-type, heals 50% of Master Gour's HP.
Burūberī: Ice-type, freezes the target.
Chokorēto: Rock-type, switches Master Gour out.
This ability cannot be disabled, swapped, or changed.
Recipe Strike: A 10 BP Physical Fighting-type move with 100% Accuracy, 5 PP, and 0 Priority. It gains 20 Power for each Forbidden Recipe Master Gour has used during the battle.
Flavor: Before he protected the serene mountain peak that changed his life forever, who did Collachet train under? The answer is this sensei Pokémon, said to be the essence of peace itself. Possessing seven fighting techniques known as "The Seven Forbidden Recipes", Master Gour was once a world culinary chef who served the best dishes on the planet, before becoming a sensei when he realized that the only reason people eat is to give them the energy needed to fulfil their goal in life. Resting atop the peak that Collachet would eventually protect by himself, Master Gour forged Collachet's giant hatchet under the oven he used to cook his food in the past, before teaching Collachet the true meaning of the zen pilgrimage. When the beasts of the Iron Fist arena invaded, Master Gour vanished...until now. But...he is a changed man for the worse. Having realized that his student is rejecting peace by smashing everything in sight, Master Gour struck a deal with the Ruby Copyright's leader to try and get Collachet to feel true peace once more. One benefit to this deal is that Master Gour can finally serve as a chef again, serving the best food on the planet that would make Nedontrol rather jealous indeed...
Role: A very unique pure-Fighting sweeper, who can use his seven forbidden recipes to control the battlefield. You'll find, that, notably, he does not know any Status Moves apart from the Seven Forbidden Recipes.

Abilities
: Eerie Mask
Stats: 92/45/88/85/221/68 (599)

Movepool: Forgotten Fiery Jig, Ember, Confusion, Teeter Dance, Shadow Sneak, Torch Song, Psystrike, Moongeist Beam, Thief, Foul Play, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot, Disarming Voice, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Punch, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Will-O-Wisp, Sunny Day, Heat Wave, Burning Jealousy, Temper Flare, Confuse Ray, Hex, Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Phantom Force, Spite, Poltergeist, Curse, Scary Face, Psych Up, Psybeam, Psychic, Zen Headbutt, Psyshock, Reflect, Light Screen, Gravity, Future Sight, Expanding Force, Psychic Noise, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Take Down, Facade, Substitute, Tera Blast, Protect, Endure, Sleep Talk, Rest
Custom Elements:
Eerie Mask: This Pokémon gets the STAB bonus from Fire-type moves despite not being a Fire-type. If this Pokémon gets hit by a critical hit, the opposing Pokémon is turned into either a Sinistea, a Snorunt, a Phantump, a Golett, or a Frillish. Each Pokémon has an equal 1/5 chance of being chosen.
Forgotten Fiery Jig: A 50 BP Special Psychic-type dance move with 8 PP, 100% Accuracy, and 0 Priority. Burns the target. If they are already burned, they instead turn into a Gengar. If they are already burned AND they are a Gengar, this move's power becomes 200.
Flavor: Remember those Gym Challengers you fought during the Wyndon Stadium Champion Tournament reruns? No? Well, such is the sad story of Wei...you see, he was supposedly born with a face so horrifying, that his parents believed that an ancient Psychic-type spirit, the king of a civilization who mocked his face to the point he took his own life, possessed him, and abandoned him on sight. Forming a partnership with a group of Ghost-type Pokémon, Wei believed that defeating Leon and becoming the king of Galar would satisfy the king and leave his body, having seen a king just like him who would carry on despite their looks, unlike him. But it was soon clear that he couldn't keep up with the Gym Leaders, let alone Leon...the fact that there's already a Ghost-type user in Galar in the form of Allister probably didn't help at all. And every day, Wei was forced to keep that hideous face, unable to tell anyone about the spirit. One fateful day, when Wei was about to throw in the towel, he overheard Dr. Liberty telling his fellow members a tall tale on how he became the scientist he was today, with that vat of acid that was exposed to the energy of the Slumbering Weald. In an act of desperation, Wei decided to replicate the same tale to give himself Psychic powers and forcibly evict the spirit...he probably should have listened to the doctor, for Dr. Liberty was making that tale up. (He never knew where he came from, remember?) The vat of acid did grant Wei Psychic powers, but it also mutated him into a hideous Psychic beast with flaming ropes that were supposedly part of the experiment he tried. Rejected by his Pokémon, the newly renamed Wepei was quickly found by the Ruby Copyright's leader and signed up in no time to be it's brains. And the horrifying part about it? As Wepei stares out into the night sky every night...we can now tell you that he STILL didn't get the spirit out.
Role: The ultimate Special Wall, armed with a unique method of dealing with it's opposition!

This is what he used to look like, by the way.

Abilities
: Unspoken Rizz in regular form, Shadow Shield in Mega Form
Regular Stats: 125/100/100/100/100/74 (599)
Mega Stats: 125/120/100/120/100/114 (699)
Weight: 2595 lbs.
Movepool: Alpha Strike, Wicked Blow, Play Rough, Dazzling Gleam, Thief, Knock Off, Dark Pulse, Taunt, Night Slash, Torment, Lash Out, Sucker Punch, Fling, Assurance, Throat Chop, Hold Hands, Agility, Brick Break, Detect, Double-Edge, First Impression, Low Kick, Swords Dance, Trailblaze, Aerial Ace, Astonish, Attract, Double Kick, Feint, Giga Impact, Leer, Revenge, Reversal, Spite, Tackle, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Take Down, Facade, Substitute, Tera Blast, Protect, Endure, Sleep Talk, Rest
Custom Elements:
Alpha Strike: 120 BP Fairy-type Physical move with 80% Accuracy and 8 PP. If this move misses, this Pokemon's Attack raises one stage.
Unspoken Rizz: While this Pokemon is active, all opponents will become infatuated regardless of their gender after 5 turns on the field.
Flavor: The reveal of the Fairy-type member of the Ruby Copyright was a massive shock to even Daiyakuza himself...why, it's Beaf Cultist's very own Usuker! Supposedly hailing from the same school as Princirang, before he found the mask that would turn him into the state he was today, Usuker was actually Princirang's boyfriend...and each thought the other one was dead until very recently! Usuker's unbelievable attractiveness could knock out even the toughest of beasts into a deep infatuation, and thus Daiyakuza took interest in him, especially when he found out he came from Princirang's school and thus could work well with Princirang herself. But when Usuker saw that Daiyakuza was obnoxious and interfered with his romantic lifestyle, not to mention Daiyafia lacked true love, Usuker knew he had to make the mafia boss into a level 1 Crook, and ursup him as the Leader of the Diamond Hand! Appearing suddenly from a shadowy cloak of darkness, he would have succeeded at backstabbing the boss and taking his place, had it not been for Supreme Leader zxgzxg's intervention, who promptly rejected Usuker from the metagame entirely. Daiyakuza quickly learned that he was planning to betray him afterwards, and Usuker was given the boot, now a traitor rendered part of the very beasts that drove him to get the mask in the first place. Fleeing into the shadows before he could be destroyed by Nedontrol, Usuker has not been seen since...until now. It appears he has allied himself with the Ruby Copyright to not only get revenge on Daiyakuza, but also to try and reunite with Princirang at last. Trading his Dark/Silly typing for a new Fairy-type, his new weapon, the Usukerite, might spell the end of us all.

Pokemon: Niagara Falls
Typing: Water / Fairy
Base Stats: 55/82/64/100/100/128 (529 BST)
Abilities: Serene Grace / Misty Surge / Water Veil
Movepool: Agility, Amnesia, Aqua Jet, Aqua Ring, Aura Sphere, Body Slam, Calm Mind, Charm, Chilling Water, Dazzling Gleam, Defog, Dive, Endure, Facade, Fairy Wind, Flatter, Flip Turn, Focus Blast, Giga Impact, Haze, Healing Wish, Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam, Ice Spinner, Icy Wind, Knock Off, Life Dew, Light Screen, Liquidation, Magic Coat, Misty Explosion, Misty Terrain, Muddy Water, Play Rough, Protect, Raging Stream, Rain Dance, Reflect, Rest, Safeguard, Shadow Ball, Signal Beam, Sleep Talk, Strange Steam, Substitute, Surf, Swords Dance, Take Down, Tera Blast, Topsy-Turvy, Vacuum Wave, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Waterfall, Wave Crash, Whirlpool
Weight: 888.4 kg
Custom Elements:
Move: Raging Stream
Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15 (max 24)
Category: Special
Type: Water
Effect: 30% chance to lower target’s Speed by one stage.
Priority: 0
Targets: One opponent
Flags: Metronome, Mirror Move, Protect
Role: Offensive Pivot, Special Attacker, Misty Terrain setter, Rain Abuser, Confusion Spreader
Reasoning: Adds some much needed speed to the metagame, and two very potent types in Water and Fairy. Serene Grace helps moves like Raging Stream and Strange Steam get more mileage, and Misty Terrain helps block status effects for it and its team. While its offensive stats aren’t the greatest, Rain set by Melmetal-Chisel helps its Water moves get more powerful, and Calm Mind is available as a boosting option.
NOTE: This Pokemon is genderless.

Pokemon: MOSQUITO SWARM
Typing: Bug / Dark
Base Stats: 64/95/70/85/70/140 (524 BST)
Abilities: Mosquito Grace / Sheer Force
Movepool: Absorb, Acrobatics, Agility, Air Slash, Bite, Boomburst, Bug Bite, Bug Buzz, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Destiny Bond, Draining Kiss, Endure, Facade, First Impression, Giga Drain, Gunk Shot, Hex, Hyper Voice, Infestation, Knock Off, Lash Out, Leech Life, Lunge, Mega Drain, Memento, Mosquito Bite, Nasty Plot, Pain Split, Parting Shot, Poison Powder, Pounce, Protect, Psychic Noise, Pursuit, Quick Attack, Quiver Dance, Rest, Shadow Ball, Shadow Sneak, Signal Beam, Sleep Powder, Sleep Talk, Sludge Bomb, Strength Sap, Struggle Bug, Substitute, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, Take Down, Tera Blast, Throat Chop, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Trailblaze, U-turn, Venoshock, Whirlwind, Work Up (no Hyper Beam and Giga Impact is intentional)
Weight: 4.5 kg
Custom Elements:
Ability: Mosquito Grace
Effect: Any damage-dealing move that changes stats or applies a status condition against the target will have a chance to inflict Mosquito’d instead of their normal secondary effect, with the chance being equal to the chance of the original effect.
(Examples to avoid confusion: Bug Buzz and Sludge Bomb now have a 10% and 30% chance respectively to inflict Mosquito’d on the opponent instead of their original effects, but moves like Trailblaze, Giga Drain, and Toxic are unaffected)
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Move: Mosquito Bite
Power: 50
Accuracy:100
PP: 10 (max 16)
Category: Physical
Type: Bug
Effect: 100% chance to apply Mosquito’d to the target. If the target is already Mosquito’d, this move deals double damage.
Priority: 0
Targets: One opponent
Flags: Metronome, Mirror Move, Protect, Contact, Bite
Status: Mosquito’d
Effect: Pokemon take 20% more damage from attacking moves. Bug and Poison-type Pokemon cannot be Mosquito’d.
Volatile: No
Role: Mosquito’d Spreader, Revenge Killer, Set-up Sweeper
Reasoning: MOSQUITO SWARM has a lot of options in battle despite its poor coverage, either allowing it to spread Mosquito’d across the opponent’s team or dealing big damage with Sheer Force-boosted moves in conjunction with set-up moves like Swords Dance or Quiver Dance. Bug is unfortunately a very poor offensive type in the meta due to most mons resisting it, but its Dark-type moves give MOSQUITO SWARM a way to hit every mon in the mod for neutral damage. Mons that do not resist Bug, such as Moldengo and EVIL Registeel, have to worry about Mosquito Bite on Mosquito Grace sets, and even if MOSQUITO SWARM struggles to break through other defensive mons, Mosquito’d can leave them open to being easily killed later by teammates such as Sligma or Minior Swarm.

EDIT: Removed Hurricane from Niagara Falls and reduced Raging Stream's lower speed chance to 30%. Mosquito Bite was nerfed to 50 BP, and Mosquito'd no longer deals any residual damage per turn, is now blocked by Poison-type mons, and damage increase was nerfed to 20%

Sportapex_image.png

Name: Sportapex
Type: Water / Fighting
Abilities: Justified / Limber / Regenerator
Stats: 93/102/107/70/68/75 (515 BST)
Weight: 80.8 kg
Movepool:
Base : Finizen's Natdex Movepool

Removals : Zen Headbutt, Boomburst, Aqua Tail, Waterfall, Liquidation
Additions : Rapid Spin, Jet Punch, Flip Turn, Wave Crash, Surging Strikes, Body Press, Storm Throw, Drain Punch, Mach Punch, High Jump Kick, Cross Chop, Superpower, Low Sweep, Aura Sphere, Detect, Refresh, Bulk Up, Spirit Break, Ice Spinner, Trailblaze, Recycle, Heal Pulse
Role: PhysDef Pivot, Offensive Regen Pivot, Rapid Spinner, Great Tusk at home
Flavor:
Toxapex stops being a toxic Stallmon and changes their life around to become the world's favorite action-health hero.
Reasoning: Adds a dedicated physical tank to the meta to check/scout Sligma-Mega, Melmetal-Chisel, and EVIL Registeel, and bring additional utility options to the table with priority moves, Flip Turn and Rapid Spin. Sportapex can pack a punch but lack recovery moves, and it gets owned by special moves/coverage and Electric types, and has a hard time spinning vs Moldengo on defensive spreads.

hypemoments.png

Name: Beedril-Lokix-Hero (Requires the Fusion Stone : item with no effect that uses the Lustrous Orb sprite)
Type: Bug/Poison
Ability : Ultimate Fusion Technique (Effects of Adaptability + nerfed Tinted Lens that only deals x1.5 to resists instead of x2. Announces itself on switch-in.)
Stats: 68/96/79/23/93/121 (470 BST)
Weight: 47 kg
Movepool:
Base : Beedril's NatDex Movepool + Lokix's NatDex Movepool

Removals : Pursuit, Lunge, Drill Run, Axe Kick, Brick Break, Swords Dance, Toxic
Additions : Hype Moments, Aura Sphere
Custom Move :
Hype Moments : 55 BP, Ground type, Physical move, 32 PP, 100% Acc, Contact : High crit rate. Sets the Hype Moment field effect on the user's side for 5 turns before attacking.
Hype Moment is a field effect that's only present on one side (similar to Tailwind), and has the following effects :
- Pokemon affected have their accuracy multiplied by 1.4x
- Moves with high critical rate always crits
- Focus Blast, Aura Sphere and Aura Wheel and have their BP multiplied by 1.2
- Sucker Punch always hits, even if the opponent used a status move.
Hype Moment can be extended to 8 turns if user is holding TR56 (Aura Sphere). (ofc not possible here, it's for future subs)

Role: Revenge Killer, Cleaner, Hype Moments Setter
Flavor :
Beedril and Lokix unite their forces to finally beat once and for all their sworn enemy : the despicable Eviolite Zubat.
Reasoning : Adds a fast mon with a weak STAB combo to the meta to give a job to all the Poison/Fire/Flying guys. BLH can provide teams with powerful priority, Knock Off and pivoting. Hype Moments also allow BLH to set a pseudo-Gravity to enable weird strategies (or simply make inaccurate moves more reliable). Even with Adaptability and semi-Tinted Lens, BLH should still be manageable since it has only 96 Atk and is item-locked (also you can't touch Whatsappdos, Rotom or Melmetal-Chisel).
