When me and Jam were selected to manage roapl, I was thrilled to have been given the chance to lead a team to the path of victory, just like I’d try to do with all of the other team tours in which I had managed for. Ty Vertigo and Maia for selecting us. Many people had doubted me, jam, and my team, some going as far to say that the tour had fallen off due the player and manager quality (I know damn well that comment was towards us). However, as Mason had said earlier, I felt the competition was just as high as any other tour and I felt that all of my players were good enough to win when it came down to it. As for myself, I was more than stoked to prove to everyone that I was prepared and ready to manage a tour of such a high level, and boy how right I was. After spending 9 long and grueling weeks in this tour, it feels so damn good to win it all, with the tour not only being my first custom avatar tour win, but also my first tour win as a manager. I feel so proud of my team and all of the experiences we had together. Now, on to shoutouts:
jam you were a great vibes man and your help and spirit motivated us to win this tour for you. You were great in helping others when they needed to and even when you got busier towards the end your positive energy was key to us winning. Trust me, this win was in your honor. Thanks for everything man, I’m so ready to run this tour back with you next year
Pak Holy shit you’re the MVP of this tour. An 8-1 record is fucking insane man, you literally just showed up after picking teams and won. You’re the goat man. There’s no one more trustworthy in ADV than you. I was so excited to pick you up man, and you delivered. You do great tour over tour, and doing us in this tour was insane man, love you lots. I hope you do great in all of your tours in the future

You were the first person I wanted when it was first announced that me and Jam were selected as managers, and man I’m so happy I stuck to my gut and spent the big bucks on you, cause you were worth it. You brought insanely good vibes to our team and your help and assistance in adv and bw were super clutch while also going 6-2, Eva you literally remind me of super man. Even with your nerves you were a great motivator for others and there’s no one I trust more in bw bo3 than you. Ty for everything queen
RealJester Ngl I was nervous about getting you after BKCPL because I wasn’t sure how your activity and commitment would be, but boy was I glad I just said fuck it. Not only did you deliver in your games, but you delivered in your commitment and comedy, like man you’re one of the funniest and realest person I’ve ever met. You were a great presence and an even greater gsc player, like I’ve never seen someone get out of tighter situations than you. Congrats on the 7-2 and I can’t wait to see you again in SPL
OmBrArch Man buying you for 10.5k and preventing wesleyy from buying you feels even greater now that we’ve won and the insane 7-2 record you had. You were a workhorse in GSC, pulling out an insane amount of scouts while also helping out jester a ton, man you are the gsc goat. Hell, this help went out to just about every other tier, man you truly understand the meaning to Ruins of Alph and your support in basically every tier was like a godsend as your manager. The fact that you also volunteered to be the classic bo5 slot in case we were in a tiebreak as just a chief’s kiss, I love you and all the work you’ve done
Johnald Me and Jam already had you on our minds before the auction, but when Eva told me to get you and to put her in bw, I knew that the stars had aligned for greatness. You had a phenomenal season my dead game king, a 6-1 tour against some tough opponent is worth something to celebrate for. First a great advpl and now this? I see you becoming an all time adv great. You were really clutch all season and great vibes bringer as well. I see greatness in you johnald, please capitalize on it
Destro16 My man, I’d seen you had been killing it way before this tour started, so I knew I had to get you on my team; and just as I expected you absolutely killed it once again. I know you struggled early in the season but ending up 5-3 while being super clutch in the playoffs is absolutely incredible. It was fun to be with you and always! and crafting up teams, and even more fun to see you play really well in the playoffs. Thank you for playoffs wins and I wish you luck in future tours you rising star
Always! My man, when I got you for only 5k I knew I got an absolute steal on my team. I had so much fun talking to you and watching you think of some of the most unique sets I’ve seen for oras teams and the vibes you brought to the team were some of the best. I loved how you had a champion mentality and I believed that it powered us to win this tour so we could have the same feeling. Ty for all you’ve done and I hope to team with you again
Duke Sux You were THE vibes guy, providing absolute comedy and cinema while also being able to anchor down you bw slot. You were the one who invented our call culture and you’ll forever be a legend for that. I know you wanted your record to be better, but I still greatly appreciated you clutching up in semis. I hope to see you in other tours
GirlsSeeGhosts Thank you so much for clutching up in playoffs, the regular season was rough but I still appreciated your mentality and how generally you’re just a great guy to talk to. You were pretty funny and the amount of support you brought into the server was much appreciated. Again, thank you a lot for clutching up in playoffs and congrats on your second custom avatar. Wish you the best in your future tours.
Texas Cloverleaf Man sometimes the game just hates us, and it truly hated you this tour. I’m sorry to having to stick you to rby, the rby gods truly did not want you to win after week 1. Still, I loved how you kept strong, you had a great mentality and you got rewarded with a chip. Congrats on the back to back chips and I wish you better luck in your future games.
Gtcha I know you weren’t expecting to play dpp this tour but thank you for being flexible. It was great to see you play dpp and I thought you played well overall, maybe we can see more of you in dpp in the future lol. I think you could’ve won in finals if it wasn’t for that pump miss. Django I’m sorry you didn’t get to play as much as you wanted to, but thank you so much for subbing in and clutching up when it mattered the most. I popped off so hard watching you win in finals man, you were someone that I knew I wanted as at least a sub and your ability to slot in and win showed in that finals. Once again I’m so grateful you won in finals and I hope we get to team up again
pixie909 I know your record didn’t turn out how you wanted it to be, but man you were an insane backbone to our team and a big reason why we won. Your support in adv and dpp was phenomenal and it led to a lot of wins every week. Your record will never come close to how big your support was and I’m so proud of your commitment to the team. Thank you for your hard work and enjoy the win
leoperi Just like pixie your record doesn’t come close to how good of a support and team presence you were. You were great in helping out tiers like gsc, bw, and rby and overall your wholesome attitude was much welcomed. It’s crazy how we met about a year ago and went from losing semis to losing finals and winning finals. I hope you enjoy this win man
Irene I know you were busy with IRL issues earlier in the tour, so I appreciated how you were able to help out anyone by giving games when they were needed. Even that action of giving games helps out a lot. I’m sorry I couldn’t give you any games but again with this season turned out I’m happy you’re happy we won. I hope you enjoy this win Irene

To start this post off i want to wholeheartedly congratulate our opponents for a hard fought trophy, you have a hell of a team and congratulations for the dominant display throughout the whole tour.
Really sucks to lose like this but every loss comes with lessons being taught which is why i'm trying to linger to the positives of this experience.
A huge shoutout to my managers awyp and Slowpoke Fan for one of the best managerial displays i've ever had the pleasure of witnessing, you guys were patient, productive and dynamic and kept the team alive with scouts and anything you could do to help, i really appreciate the trust you put in me and i apologize if i couldn't pull through to help the team take the final and most important step.
Secondly i want to humbly and happily announce that i will forfeit my game vs evakiyama! , some things are more important than mons and i hope this win will get the message across for you, you're an amazing person and even tho we didn't get to play i'm looking forward to playing you in other tours.
I don't mean to leave some teammates behind but because it's pretty late and i'm not good at doing shoutout posts so i hope this is sufficient enough in regards to how i felt in this tour, so here goes:
Ruffles Typical_bastard NoName6293 really appreciate you guys having my back with building, ideas and tests at times and it's always fun to be surrounded by smart builders like you, really makes the tier more enjoyable.
Monai Brine (for that semifinals prep vs AHD, i really appreciate your help) Dababy2 and goldmason you guys are always gonna be my bw goons and i would never wanna tackle this tier without our spitballing sessions for building and stupid ass ideas that can work in one game and nothing more(shoutout to rollout ferrothorn LOL)
And now for teammates that i worked with the most, devin , Tenebricite and again awyp thank you for carrying my sorry ass in oras this season it would be a nightmare without yall!
Regarding BW i had a lot of ideas coming from violet river , Sossa and Tizio Potente Ao and made prepping for this tier more bearable when i had yall giving me input whenever i was stuck.
Iguana, LB, Legitly, hybone and Plague were amazing teammates and yall really tried your hardest to make this underdog story work, wouldn't have reached the finals without you guys!
Last but not least mayopockets and mielke you guys are amazing players and i think you work very well together, i really hope we get to team up again, it was really fun watching you cook solid and fun teams in a tier i had long lost my interest in but somehow made it exciting to watch.
A huge thank you as well to all my opponents this tour that were respectful and patient with my awkward scheduling availabilities, y'all were great sports and very competitive through and through.
To wrap up this sappy mess of a post i'll just leave with this:
I signed up for this tour with the idea that i'll just be a bit inactive due to IRL constraints and just show up to play my games when needed but this team really gave me something really exciting to look forward to every week, you made me remember how fun prep can be, how good it feels to win and clutch up making important moments but also made me realize how much i wanted to win more and more in this game, u lit a fire in me that i thought was pretty much gone, love y'all and i really hope our paths meet elsewhere and sooner rather than later!
(ps, fuck Enzonana. what a disaster teammate LMAO <3 )

I only have myself to blame for my relatively lackluster performance and record in this tour; I overestimated my ability to properly prep and play and was punished for it, but thankfully I was carried by this amazing team. I feel strongly compelled to shout everybody out:
My sincere thanks to Toxinalpaca and jam for drafting me for this tournament and giving me an opportunity to play. I have been blessed to have had wonderful managers for every team tournament I've participated in this year, and I count you guys among the best. You put in a ton of work this season, and Toxin's attention to every slot in this tournament in particular was great to see. You fostered an amazing environment, and reaped the rewards. I hope to get a chance to work with you guys again, because I had a blast!
Destro16, you are truly a fantastic player with a super high ceiling, and your final record and playoff performance proves it. I thought it was cool that I'd get a chance to team up with you for the first time, but you really blew me away with your skill and resilience even after a tough start. Was a pleasure watching you play and I eagerly await being able to spam "DESTROAT" after every one of your games. Hope we can team together again sometime! Django, you clutched up so hard in finals and are solid in ORAS to boot; I'm really happy to see you grab a win here after Masters PL, and I hope to see more ORAS gaming from you as well!

I know you said you hated Bo3 prep, but I think the message count in the BW and ADV channels tell a different story. Glad we could grab a win after coming up short in ADPL and do justice to your record; you earned this one. Duke Sux, it turns out you're not just a VC main but also a pretty great BWer. It was fun to continually click Focus Punch and other inane moves in call; thankfully our teammates were better. I will not read (any more) Marx, but I will try and catch your games whenever I see them, because I know I'll be watching someone who can really turn up.

I know that you're a little burnt out with the game and had to slot into a more unfamiliar tier, but you're always going to be an amazing player that people will put their trust in, so I'm happy we could win this one for you. pixie909, I know you had a rockier season, but your wins were always pretty clutch. Your support range is also really wide too, which was cool to see. I still think 909 is kind of a sick identifier. leoperi, you had to slot in a the most tiers out of anyone, and while this tour didn't go much your way, thank you for stepping up and I hope your game improved as a result. Irene, I didn't get a chance to interact with you much at all since you were busy, but I'm wishing you all the best regardless.
Pak, I am really glad that I got to finally team up with you for something. I recognized that ADV is too much of a thinking player's tier, so I settled for watching the MVP dominate week after week. Never undefeated, but I hope the CA and banner are a consolation. Maybe you can brag about this on your next quest for love. All the best my friend. Johnald, you are also a menace at ADV and easily the team's ultimate steal. Your drive to deadgame is matched only by your propensity to clutch in playoffs.
RealJester, your GSC knowledge inflicted epistemic violence on all the other GSCers. Piloswine? Hitmonlee? Just crazy. OmBrArch you're also goated at GSC, but I was honestly hoping to see you pwn in a Bo5 tiebreak for the ultimate RoAPL cinematic experience. It turns out you're just too good for that though. You guys are an amazing core and stood out amongst everybody in your pools.
To my Canadian buddies GirlsSeeGhosts and Texas Cloverleaf (back to back!), you guys already won RBYWC so I suppose the luck needs to balance out at some point. No doubt you guys are great even if the results didn't indicate that this time, so hopefully grabbing the win is enough here. Looking forward to inevitably working with you again whenever we end up having to play for Canada!

To my Canadian buddies GirlsSeeGhosts and Texas Cloverleaf (back to back!), you guys already won RBYWC so I suppose the luck needs to balance out at some point. No doubt you guys are great even if the results didn't indicate that this time, so hopefully grabbing the win is enough here. Looking forward to inevitably working with you again whenever we end up having to play for Canada!
