allay switch got banned is extremely good，venusaur、charlizard、eleki finally got what they deserve，and some disgusting strategy lost its core move。but……could we give beat up&weakness policy a second chance?
like，beat up justified is a very old strategy，old enough when i was watching ash pikachu just fuked up by a snivy。people know how to deal with it，and it falled in gen9，do we actually ban it since we dont even have a ladder?（by the way，someone said beat up op actually got totally Worng。in gen8 vgc，we use cobalion couple with whimscott，okay?because cobalion can airstream by move bouce，okay?and i dont know，he said“Terrakion，anyone?” with parentheses like he is the only one know this kind of thing，but he is the wrong one，it just……U know，heh……）
and weakness policy。weakness policy played a key member during the whole gen8 whatever 64double or 63single（I guess?I dont play single，pls someone could tell me）like the half environment was built by weakness policy，we saw it in reginal dex，you know，tyranitar、coalossal、Rhyperior。nationaldex we got metagross、glastrier as good dynamaxer。and in violence restrict rules，we still got Solgaleo＆CIR，solgaleo such a mediocre legendary even showed up in WCS。I mean，do these pokemon really broke the game?shouldnt those flying airstream stuff and somekind of sword holding dog that connive her wired face looking brother bulling poor innocent little white pony and pony rider the broken one?heck，again，we dont even have a ladder!at least test it in public!
I guess thats all i want to say?（god damn，finally over。like some how writing a fuking english test paper composition）

As eragon had stated about beat up, it is far stronger of a strategy in 6v6 rather than vgc (which you compared this tier to), since beat up will hit 6 times instead of 4 iirc. This makes the main abuser of Terrakion far harder to handle, especially since it gets access to max airstream. I suggest checking the actual ban post for a bit more, including a replay.

weakness policy is a insanely strong item for something as bulky as a dmax pokemon, especially since it really limits what you can do to stop them (you don’t wanna give them a free +2).

I won kickoff! I love dynamax so it was really nice revisiting it again. Here are the teams I built which are currently legal (aka stole them from VGC 2021 and adjusted them).



Personally, I believe that this is the strongest team currently in this format. In a dynamax environment, one complaint people usually have is that it is really hard to switch into attacks. This team has both really strong offensive power as well as tools to switch into most attacks, making stalling dynamax much easier.

This is a copy of a VGC 2021 team that was always really high up on ladder, originally built by Yusei Matsuno. The original team had weakness policy Incineroar and dive Pult over fly but apart from that, the rest is the same. On paper this team looks like it gets rolled by stak and glastrier but double intim with sash Landorus/close combat Incineroar and Bronzong makes those matchups very playable. AV thundurus is really strong against Spectrier and the Dragapult gives an additional option to support the rest of the physical attackers with phantasm drops. This team is a bit weak against certain iron defense mons but apart from that, it felt good in testing and the kickoff game I used it in.



Regigigas is surprisingly good in 6v6, it is of course much weaker than in VGC since in VGC Regigigas teams usually run 2-2-2 teams where they force you to guess leads. In DOU, you need to use it a bit more carefully but it can easily turn a game around once you get it into position.



Similar concept to the Spectrier balance team earlier but it relies heavily on Porygon Z putting in work during dynamax, making the team less flexible to work with.



This is an adaptation of Bingjie's main VGC team during 2021. Turtonator is really strong against fire water grass stuff and burning jealousy is a great move in dynamax formats.



A combination of the strongest pokemon in the format. Comfey is pretty underrated since it can heal up Stakataka after it gets steelspike boosts after dynamax, making it even more annoying to take down.



This team is slightly outdated now since Spectrier usage went up a lot but the combination of Dusclops and Glastrier is incredibly hard to stop. Changes I would make are to add redirection and add an additional check against Stakataka, then the team should be pretty good.



This team has weakness policy on Moltres but you can just put black glasses and I'm sure it is still strong. This team is a copy of a team Hirofumi got high on ladder with back in 2021 and the team works pretty well in DOU as well. Whimsicott is pretty underused at the moment here so with some edits to this team, you can get an advantage from team preview against more balance oriented teams. Changes I'd make are black glasses on Moltres and Rockium Z on Nihilego (power herb is fine too if you'd rather keep the dynamax option open).
