- Incineroar and Sneasler tie for being most common Pokemon, with 4 appearances each.
- This might be the first time male Indeedee has more appearances than female
- Only 1 team had Mausape. I remember everyone spamming that combo at the start of Reg H
- Nice to see Tyranitar's still got it, That might be my personal favourite team of the 8
- Seems Talonflame has regained some of its former glory with 2 top 3 appearances
- Not 1 Rillaboom. That thing has been a staple for so long, it's bizarre seeing a top 8 without any
- Palafin still has life left in it too
- Corviknight is my favourite wildcard pick, though Excadrill comes close
