Quality Control Band Tusk (1/2)

[SET]
Choice Band (Great Tusk) @ Choice Band
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 16 HP / 204 Atk / 132 Def / 160 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Supercell Slam
- Megahorn / Heavy Slam

[SET COMMENTS]
* Earthquake allows Great Tusk to OHKO Metagross, Hisuian Goodra, and Raging Bolt.
* Close Combat OHKOes Ursaluna and non-Chople Berry Urshifu.
* Supercell Slam targets Water-types like Urshifu-R and non-bulky Primarina.
* Megahorn is for defensive Ogerpon-W and slower non-Custap Hoopa-U. Alternatively, Heavy Slam may be used for Diancie and Non-custap Sylveon.
* The EV spread allows Great Tusk to tank a Power Whip from Jolly Ogerpon-W, and it allows it to outspeed Raging Bolt.
* Great Tusk often struggles against Fairy-type foes like Sylveon, Iron Valiant, and Primarina; therefore, teammates like Volcanion and Metagross are appreciated.
* Earthquake is a better option than Close Combat against foes like Hisuian Goodra, since it is able to defeat Great Tusk with the combination of Chople Berry + Counter.
* Against Corviknight, Close Combat is preferred against Agility or faster variants. Supercell Slam is better suited for slower, bulkier sets.

* Earthquake allows Great Tusk to OHKO Metagross , Hisuian Goodra, and Raging Bolt.
* Close Combat OHKOes Ursaluna and non-Chople Berry Urshifu, and it also deals a huge amount of damage to foes like Corviknight and Ogerpon-W. (Corv may be mentioned but this isnt the place to mention wellspring)
* Supercell Slam targets Water-types like Air Balloon Volcanion, (204+ Atk Choice Band Great Tusk Supercell Slam vs. 232 HP / 8 Def Volcanion: 296-350 (82.4 - 97.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO) Urshifu-R, and non-bulky Primarina.
* Megahorn is for defensive Ogerpon-W and Cresselia (204+ Atk Great Tusk Megahorn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Cresselia: 258-304 (67.7 - 79.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO) and slower, Non-custap Hoopa-U. Alternatively, Heavy Slam may be used for Diancie and Non-custap Sylveon.
* The EV spread allows Great Tusk to tank a hit Power Whip from Jolly Ogerpon-W, (AC) and it also allows it to outspeed Raging Bolt.
* Great Tusk often struggles against Fairy-type foes like Sylveon, Iron Valiant, and Primarina; therefore, teammates like Volcanion, Volcarona, (Can lose into 2/3 of the fairies mentioned) and Metagross are appreciated.
* Earthquake is a better option than Close Combat against foes like Hisuian Goodra, since it is able to defeat Great Tusk with the combination of Chople Berry + Counter. (Add the cc vs supercell slam interaction vs Corviknight sets as well: You cc into agility/faster sets, supercell slam into slower sets)

* (as this is the first tusk analysis going off of the order, i think it wouldn't be a bad idea to include a sort of overview talking about what tusk does, like saying how it uses its typing and movepool for great offensive gain, and anything else that comes to mind you can also add.)
* Earthquake allows Great Tusk to OHKO Metagross, Hisuian Goodra, and Raging Bolt.
* Close Combat OHKOes Ursaluna and non-Chople Berry Urshifu.
* Supercell Slam targets Water-types like Urshifu-R (i know that slower shifu is mostly the norm but if its fast band you do kinda lose, think it's a good mention but worth giving some thought and if there's anything else you can think of maybe it would be nicer, feel free to dismiss this if you don't though.) and non-bulky Primarina.
* Megahorn is for defensive Ogerpon-W and slower,(AC) non-Custap Berry Hoopa-U. Alternatively, Heavy Slam may be used for Diancie and Non-Ccustap Berry Sylveon.
