Project SV Ubers UU Team Bazaar

:Espathra:
this team is really bad and ladder is doing it's best to counterteam it, though it gets some really free wins on ladder and is really braindead, it's just your classic shed tail shenanigans with hypathra (or hypnopathra idrc what name you use)

My builder until this point with individual teams. I have been enjoying the tier and I hope some people find them useful

I got a bunch of teams most of them are either half-baked to decent level. Idk if any of them are really sample worthy but they'll serve well on ladder for the most part imo.

I formally apologize to all those that took my teams from this post, all of my tinas were missing 92 EVs :sob: I have since updated the post and EVs should be fixed.

With the Doom Desire Jirachis knocked out of UMPL, ig it’s time for me to do another team dump.

Shitter HO
:excadrill: :roaring-moon: :zacian: :raging-bolt: :terapagos-terastal: :ursaluna:
Not great but cheeses ppl who don’t know what they’re doing

Rollercoaster
:alomomola: :magearna: :landorus: :deoxys: :Giratina: :arceus-poison:
I helped a friend build this for their Swiss match but ended up tweaking it a little bit later without them. In hindsight this team is 6-0ed by CM taunt Arceus but otherwise it’s fine

Stench
:corviknight: :alomomola: :ursaluna: :arceus-rock: :magearna: :deoxys:
My teammate in UMPL was constantly cooking non-standard teams. One time he made Corviknight Sand, which somehow staved off both Deoxys and Landorus which had me impressed. So I decided to try it out for myself. hardest MU is Palkia-O maybe but good plays + SpD Mag makes it playable.

Mind Blown
:magearna: :mewtwo: :clodsire: :corviknight: :arceus-rock: :deoxys:
This team isn’t very fleshed out. In fact it’s not all that different from the previous team. The main thing I wanted to try with this team was to use Knock Off M2 again.

Thread is quite dead and i'm sitting on a team i feel ready to make public so why not?
:Ninetales: :Latias:Hwish sun
Felt like making sun as i had heard talks about ninetales being a better sun setter and was honestly tired of using some of the more standard stuff in my builder.
One of the main things that caught my attention when it came to Ninetales was it's access to Healing Wish, a move that gets you both momentum and a major heal on a key threat, paired with the Sun standard of Hattrenne, that meant i had access to 2 healing wishes, which gets quite scary when the things you are healing include Sun boosted threats and offensive arceus, which now has no real reason to run recover.
An earlier build of the team (used in Ubers UU open round 1) had Latios, due to its incredible traits for sun, Ground Immunity, Threatening, able to keep momentum with both Flip Turn and Memento which i experimented with, though Latias giving me a third healing wish was too good to pass up, especially while still anwsering Landorus. It is a very fun team that can win games and i encourage you give it a chance.

Got reqs, i'm sure i've posted the team here before but it doesnt hurt, right?
:Arceus-Psychic: :Choice Band::Zacian:
This is the remake of an edit of an edit of a team inspired by revolving door.
Originally, this team took advantage of the quality of our tier's Darks, the only common ones at the time being Darcy and Chi-Yu, who struggle overall with the team and then win the game with MonoCosmiceus.
This team has seen success in both older and newer days, being used in the Ubers UU kickoff to beat the likes of ilikeeatingcrayons and Delta4, used by good friend horriii to beat Baddy in UMLCQ and then used by myself again to beat Rasche in UMPL IV semifinals and later on Pooshi during the swiss stage of the second edition of UUbers Swiss.
Have fun and load darcy next time you ladder!

My UUFPL. I had a hard time adjusting to the post-zac meta, and was kind of just throwing things at the wall and seeing what stuck. It lead to a lot of wack teams that barely worked versus my specific opponent if at all, but one or two of them had interesting ideas so I'll post them here for the public to see.
:arceus-ice: :primarina: :giratina: :heatran: :lokix: :corviknight:
Yeahh this team is hilariously lol. I think it is barely useable, but I would not recommend it for serious use. My idea was just to try and optimize pivoting to bring in lokix a bunch but idk what I was really cooking. The most useable parts of this team are banded kix (legit not bad), Iceus, and Giratina.
Week 2 I couldn't schedule with ewin so there was a double sub.
:excadrill: :dragonite: :roaring-moon: :arceus-ice: :iron-valiant: :iron-moth:
This was the first time I had tried to make a proper HO in a long while, and it's pretty evident. Exca as a lead is... ok. It's useable. I'd really just recommend anything else though cause Exca is outclassed in every department except for having rapid spin. As for the rest of the team, it's again useable but not recommended for use. Kind of carried by Rmoon and Iceus. My favorite tech on this team is the ival set which is meant to screw over ekillers. And it did indeed do that vs Medeia which let me win that game.
:grimmsnarl: :palkia-origin: :Terapagos-terastal: :gouging-fire: :arceus-poison: :moltres-galar:
Palkia-O on screens is so wack. The thought process was that Palkia-O doesn't really have good walls and is best dealt with by forcing it out with offense. But it becomes a lot harder to deal with when screens are up. In actuality, Palkia-O kind of sucks on screens because it's just not nearly as immediately threatening as a boost sweeper is. The rest of the team is kind of fine I suppose. Terapagos should go though I think it's far too slow to set up. Gfire should prob be msun or something over EQ asw. Goltres is a funny mon cause it does frankly ridiculous damage if you can hit the hurricanes. The bigger issue is that HO frankly just can't afford to miss the hurricanes though, which is why I've soured on the mon.
:arceus-electric: :samurott-hisui: :lugia: :great-tusk: :garganacl: :gholdengo:
One of the better teams I made. I was tired of losing to HO teams and so I decided to boot up CM Whirlwind Lugia which has frankly kind of a ridiculous matchup into offense. The rest of the team is kind of alright, the Tusk in particular is meant to be able to screw over Samu. Very recently Baconeatinassassin loaded a team extremely similar to this one so I'd like to think that I perhaps contributed but the more likely answer is that they came up with the same idea on their own and refined it better than I was able to.
:araquanid: :arceus-ice: :spectrier: :moltres-galar: :latias: :landorus:
This team is so weird. You can tell that it was my first time in a very long time making a webs team. I think that this team is unviable and there are objectively better teams to use lol. That said, I do think that healing wish Latias on webs is an interesting concept that could be explored more. Boots NP Mewtwo has a really good matchup into webs, which Latias helps alleviate a lot, and then of course, Healing Wish is kind of busted on HOs that can take advantage of it.
:mewtwo: :chi-yu: :arceus-electric: :magearna: :landorus: :giratina:
This team is kind of ok, but I would still not recommend it. Best part about the team is the first 3 Pokemon, who all do an excellent job of breaking each others' checks. The rest could be improved upon however. In particular, this team has a horrid matchup into Roaring Moon which cannot be excused. The Mewtwo set in particular I think is interesting. Dropping Fire Blast means that you can't break Magearna nearly as easily, but I figured that chi-yu and eleceus would bring Magearna into range by the endgame. Ice beam as a whole is a move I've really been liking on Mewtwo. It threatens landorus from full health, hits Giratina rather hard, does a very significant amount of damage to even multiscale dnite, and also zaps the Dark/Birds for those who're still using them.

And then my team made it to the semifinals, where we were unfortunately knocked out. However, this is where I made what I think is my best team post-zacian, and definitely among the best teams in the metagame currently.

This HO team is succinctly put, very strong and very consistent. Samurott-H is probably the best HO lead in the game right now in my opinion. We all know how ridiculous Ceaseless Edge is, but it's also really worth mentioning Samurott's access to other moves, particularly Sucker Punch and Encore. This allows Samurott to start out almost every game while getting incredible value for itself. Garchomp clicking rocks t1 gets encored. Setup mons get encored. If you decide to instead attack, you're taking Ceaseless + Sucker which will put you at about half health. The taunt mons in the metagame also don't fare very well at all, with the exception of Taunt Roaring Moon. And even in the case of Roaring Moon, the team has Double Espeed and Red Card mimikyu to help deal with it. Mimikyu in particular is a really good piece on this team, as after an SD it starts doing very competent damage. Curse also means that it's capable of taking chunks out of bulkier targets that can stand up to its attacks. Overall this Pokemon really holds the team together and is such a good safety net, while avoiding remaining passive. Another point on this team that I really like is the Dnite + Poisonceus core. Double espeed is great for revenging pokemon of course, but I've also found that Dragonite is ridiculously good at forcing Giratina to Tera Faerie, paving a path for Poisonceus to sweep later. It's not perfect, and is particularly a little on the weak side to mold breaker mons. DD Kyurem and Reshi can put the pressure on, but are by no means auto-loses. The most important thing to play around them is that their bulk gets significantly compromised by Spikes, and that they are not very threatening the turn they come in. I've been spamming this team to great success in room tours and on ladder. And while they aren't perfect examples of the most competitive environment, I think the consistency I've achieved even versus qualified opponents says something about the team. I definitely recommend people try the team out for themselves.

Submitted this to samples, unsure if it'll make it in. Wanted to share it anyways.
:palafin: :arceus-rock: :magearna: :mewtwo: :giratina: :landorus:

hasn't been tested much but it just got a win in the ongoing seasonal. Palafin could probably stand to cut a lot of its speed in favor of HP tbh, I just have it set to outspeed 252+ smeargle in order to be even better into HO.

Arceus-Rock is also a rather nice piece at dealing with offense imo. For those who haven't been exposed to it yet, CM wisp is nice because burn-immune Fire types get hit super effectively by Judgment. Iirc this was originally something Frito came up with way back when. Rockceus is also a rather decent check to both Gouging Fire and Poison Ekiller, which is quite nice for taking some of the load off of Giratina.

Bullky Knock M2 is kind of a nice final piece that rounds out the team imo. It helps wear down Magearna, It helps check Landorus, It can mess with CM arcs, and can prevent setup from Pokemon that would otherwise think they have an opportunity (Gouger, Rmoon, Dnite). This set has existed ever since M2 first joined the tier, but it's begun standing out a lot in recent times (at least to me) because of the success that Celeste has had with it.

The rest is pretty self explanatory imo. Hope y'all have fun with it
