I'm very happy about the selection of Pkm, especially Gravlord and Dialga. The former makes good use of ausma's item, which extends turns in Gravity. And it seems like an offensively potent Pkm itself. There's also sufficient synergy with Dialga when it comes to offense and defense. Besides, I love Dialga's potential role as a Trick Room setter. It never hurts to promote this playstyle in Singles. I'm very curious how it will play out. Furthermore, it's got potential as a lategame cleaner on offensively inclined teams. That said, it has a nice resistance profile to check Zapdos, the infamous Cramorant and the newly Samuraiai.

If we were allowed to vote for more Pkm, Centiskorch would have been my sixth choice or so. So, I'm also glad it's here. Magic Bounce gives it item flexibility, and in its G-Max form, it looks fairly interesting with its bulk, new Water immunity and the trapping. No idea how it fares, especially since it's so slow. But it's one of those Pkm i'd try out for sure when I have time.

I don't have any thoughts on the rest of the Pkm yet - I'm tired - , so, I leave it to others to comment if they so desire.

Why do we have TWO cedgers… I guess covert cloak helps a bit but like. Now covert cloak is the new boots and it’s a basically mandatory item. Corrosive gas would be very cool and neat if it was submitted but at a different angle. But on a different note. Why are there two cedgers. EDIT: cloak doesnt block cedge. spikes r gonna be everywhere, which makes boots infinitely more valueable now. idk if cloak can really get past that other than its knock immune to save your boots. on a third different note. why are there two ceaseless edge users

We also have zero fairies and three offensively strong dragons, and also a total of one (1) dragon neutral steel. We kinda need something for these. Zapdos and crammer found dead in ditch. I do not think either of these can deal with the three dragons, which is good because crammer was ultra busted but now we got a new issue.

Save me centiskorch and aurorus…. Save me…

Orangesodapop shut up

:samurott-hisui::grafaiai: I glazed the fuck outta this in my Sub Review so I'll be brief. It is a good offensive Mon, I reckon for the time being Choice Scarf will be it's preferred set due to so far the only consistent offensive Pokémon are all faster than it. Once more defensive options and the 80-95 Speed tier gets fleshed out it will be more diverse.

:centiskorch::centiskorch-gmax: Base Centi is cool. As people said, Magic Bounce is very solid and allows you to serve as unique form of hazard deterrent. First Impression is also underrated as fuck especially when people generally tend to forget Centiskorch gets that. As for it's G-Max...very powerful. I want to see how it actually performs in the future once slate 3 drops and preliminary play testing occurs but I figure it will be very strong.having many solid Dragon types feel good here as well because of how strong Max Moves are and how it's ability works traditionalFire type checks (bulky Waters and Grounds) may not be as good here. Then again, as long as the Ground isn't weak to Max Overgrowth I think it should be fine.

:aurorus: Aurorus feels like it is going to be a Keystone Pokémon in this metagame, not only because of how powerful it is offensively, but how many key resists it holds in the metagame right now. Electric and Water were already major offensive typings in the metagame, but now with powerful Fire, Bug and Grass moves to be expected to be thrown around I see Aurorus to take off until defensive teams are more fleshed out. Either way, get some special walls soon or those +2 Draco might wake something up.

:dialga: I am indifferent to Dialga. The Trick Room thing is 100% a gimmick but that's beside the point. It's not as bulky as I would like out of a Pokémon with this typing at all, both in raw stats and in how it's distributed. Otherwise it gets the job done and it will be a good glue Mon.

:guzzlord: Not much else to say tbh, I expect Ground resists instead of immunities will become more prominent in a Gravity focused world, and as a wallbreaker itself it is pretty good. Hits hard has good bulk and strong utility.

:gogoat: Very anti meta imo. I am unsure about it's long term success but as of right now it has a positive matchup into most of the tier and does fairly well into them. The only standout bad matchups imo are the Three Dragons, which is somewhat unfortunate because I see them all becoming the next major status quo for the meta, but otherwise, yeah it kinda just clobbers everything else thanks to its ridiculous bulk and SE STAB.

:drampa::reuniclus: I expect Drampiclus to be as dominant here as it was in early Fusion Evolution. Drampa is a pretty powerful offensive Mon that also has a lot of defensive utility, and here where AV can 1v1 the other Dragon types in the meta is gaming. Zapdos and Big Crammer immediately gain one of their best checks ever with this guy, seeing as AV will be popular and I don't think these guys can do much in regards to chipping them down. Though Crammer can probably get off a para before dying in a 1v1 so that would be annoying.

Anyway, I think the best options won, and some cool side options that are interesting adds got in too, so I am overall pleased with Slate 2. I can't wait for Slate 3, I'll be leaning alot bulkier there.
