here’s the dump of most of my teams from NDAMPL and beyond

To Finish, I'd like to thank rahul_3301 for what was a very fun experience, AM , Dead by Daylight , Shivam_Z, Astro Nation Shoe and Don Bork for teaching me some new tiers, my other teammates and ofcourse the managers Ember Celica and qbking3 for maintaining a cool environemnt and drafting me. I hope to team with you all again, whenever we get the chance!

we're out of the tour now so gna do some shoutouts. in spite of everything, this was an extremely fun tour to be a part of, very glad that I did end up accepting amstan's invite to co. wanna do a few shoutouts here.

Amstan had a ton of fun managing with you! thanks for sticking it out when i was less than active, see you next year hopefully :)

Ineros I hope you enjoyed GG, you had an absolutely insane season. It probably wasn't the tier you signed up for, and I'm sorry I wasn't more active in prep, especially on the weeks you didn't win, but you were absolutely central to our fucking amazing season.

Kinetic of all of the people on the team I need to apologise to, it's probably you. you were always on our draft plan because you're so incredible, I am just so sorry we left you stranded with little support, which is the exact opposite of what you wanted. i do hope you come back to play next year, u deserve a much better record than what the tin says

jscurf u were also always on our plans. absolute goat of a season, slight heart attacks when u'd load into a game n none of us knew what the pastes were LOL but ur just the goat, hope to see you around next year as well.

TTK you never have to play a game of NDNFE again LOL see u around bud, hopefully in a tier you enjoy slightly more

LogIce you had some absolutely goated wins, thanks for playing wit us this year. i'll see u around asw hopefully :D

iPetBigfoot undefeated champ good shit. when ndampl rolls around next year i hope u get the starting spot u deserve

7ayakum the DUDE. the second goat of 35 pokes, absolutely woulda started were u not on the same team as jscurf, but i hope to see u playin next year, and around generally

anaconja thanks for forcing my player to bring good teams, and subbing in when we needed u :) absolute goat of a super sub

ANinjaDude 3k is an insane bargain for u, i hope u continue to improve cos u defo could end up starter level next year. keep it up!

Uta The Clown you had an absolutely mental season this year. i was absolutely unfamiliar with your game, hope to see u rockin ur shit next year asw

Sami LOL UUBERS LMAO it was funny but sad to watch u get fished week in week out. absolutely not a reflection on ur skill level, hopefully next year the tier is in a more palatable state

UwU1v1 best 3k i've ever spent :) just please give us your teams next year LOL

StreetBoom the other super sub, thanks for sticking around :)

Mcthelegit thanks for joining midseason! was fun to have u around, but also PLEASE FORCE UWU TO BUILD NEXT YEAR

Clas well i can't exactly say you had a season at all, at least now you know how tiers not played works LMAO see ya next year :)

Evie Valin (idk ur tag soz) thanks for joining and giving us a bit of help :)

pannu joined and literally never said anything useful NERD (jk was lovely to have u around and thanks for the limited help u gave)

Adriyun LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

not entirely sure if i will manage again, this summer got really complicated for me and i was only able to superficially help one slot. i definitely could have done better as a manager and i do apologise to my whole team for that. we had a banger season tho, undefeated, and our only loss was to a rematch, which statistically favours the team who lost the first time around. i think we had the strongest band of players in the tour and it was a shame we couldn't go all the way, but hey, that's mons! see y'all next year :)

Making a ndgg teamdump and will also post teams by BoingK because his teams r actually good

Week 1 vs. AM
:kartana: :Landorus-Therian: :Charizard-mega-y: :Necrozma-dusk-mane: :Alomomola: :raging bolt:

This was my first game of ndgg and I wanted to use something relatively standard and just outplay if I got fished by some broken threats (spoiler alert: I did and did NOT outplay). One of my own builds so yeah pretty standard and based on some smou yard squads (see parallels with mage and ndm, Mola and Fini). I unfortunately did not account for pult because I didn’t even know it existed in the tier and lost.

Week 2 vs. Les2BG
:weezing-Galar: :Samurott-hisui: :Landorus-Therian: :dragapult: :Alomomola: :Necrozma-dusk-mane:
This week was relatively straightforward. We immediately noticed oppo liked Alomomola and noted its apparent broken-ness to the moon so we decided to pull a tech from sv and use neutgas gweezing. This is a team by boingk and imo is the best team we used the whole tour and should most certainly be a sample team, it farmed in test games and it farmed in the actual game as well. Everything else is p standard and anti cheese too. In the actual game my oppo loaded a not very good team and I knew I could outplay so I just monkeybrained the good mu and eventually won.

Week 3 vs. About15gals
:Gholdengo: :Meowscarada: :clodsire: :Calyrex-ice: :Alomomola: :Corviknight:

I knew about to be a cheeser in tours as she usually brought ho / stall / weird fat structures whenever I’ve seen her play (and her ndgg scout was similar) so I wanted to be prepared for that and we noticed caly Ice to be an excellent pick into both. We at first had a Gliscor hsam balance like some sv teams at this time however boingk sent me this balance and it was doing good in test games vs. stuff about would most likely load (s/o Amstan who tested with me here btw loaded exactly what I thought about would) and I rolled with it. In the game I was basically given 3 mons for free and ended up winning vs. the cheese I was expecting.

Week 4 vs. bello figo
:Ferrothorn: :eternatus: :Landorus-Therian: :keldeo: :Alomomola: :Tapu lele:

This week I ended up building myself. I wanted to use eternatus because it seemed rlly good into the meta in general. For those who don’t know, I’m addicted to Ferrothorn in NDOU so it’s a shocker I hadn’t loaded it yet. Bello figo was a relatively unknown opponent to me however their scout was extremely weak to scarf Tapu lele and I was expecting some bullshit (ho / weird offense) so it in the speed slot to check every speed boosting sweeper besides pult (and webs, apparently). They did end up loading a p unconventional team and although I did fuck around in the game a bit I got all the turns I needed right and won.

Week 5 vs. danbear02
:Landorus-Therian: :Samurott-hisui: :Mewtwo-mega-y: :dragapult: :kartana: :kyurem:

We had noticed my 100% Mola usage so I wanted to deviate from that. We also wanted to use kyurem since it exploits every balance ever and no one preps for it really in this kind of meta. In speed slot it’s a demon tho since it’s main form of counterplay in ou is mainly revenge killing it. Mewtwo Y was also a pokemon we wanted to try and if I would ban anything from this meta first it’d probably be it lol this mon does not need to be in a ou setting. No real prep against Danbear was done this week we just wanted to focus on my trends. In the actual game I used broken mewtwo in a game I didn’t really deserve and won.

Semifinals vs. danbear02 (again)
:skarmory: :zeraora: :clodsire: :ho-oh: :Dondozo: :Reuniclus:

This week I really wanted to fat because it was in my comfort zone and I found this rlly cool Pannu team in sv gg I wanted to adapt. This was one of my own teams and it’s very cool vs. cheese / offense and even opposing fat with psynoise Reuniclus. Unfortunately in the actual game I loaded into Zekrom hoopa u so… gg! In all seriousness ggs to Danbear someone I massively respect as a player who was in reality the best player in the pool along with AM imo.

Other teams I built myself but didn’t feel like using / weren’t good:
https://pokepast.es/9a7d4fdc8707a792
https://pokepast.es/424e87d382ab29cd
https://pokepast.es/0e8b2e2ca4e1210a
https://pokepast.es/86464e9c0854ea96

Shoutout once again to my managers BoingK and Amstan, who were helpful for multiple different reasons. Boingk who helped me build this tour when I was not acquainted with gg at all and for dealing with my idiot ou pilled brain in prep, ur the goat, and Amstan who helped me run test games when he knew nothing about the meta when no one else was on. Shoutouts to the rest of the team too who was a combination of friends I met in other tours and communities (anaconja, uta, Sami) and new faces to me I enjoyed the presence of (LogIce, jscurf, boingk, kinetic, etc).

NDAMPL (NDOMPL last year) was the first teamtour I have ever participated in on the site. Last year I basically only got in through clout and I was admittedly very ass at the game. I subbed in once for nfe and lost which wasn’t a very good first showing. However I have grown immensely since then, improving at every chance I have gotten in other tours, and my record of 4-2 here shows it. It’s not the most serious tour ever, but I’m glad with my performance this tour as it shows my growth in mons in the past year. Cya’ll later

Been awhile since NDDUbers has actually been played and I had a lot of fun experimenting with some different structures and working with iPetBigfoot ! Thank you to BoingK and Amstan for drafting me, happy with a 3-1 record for this year.

Week 1
Was pretty busy during week one and getting back in tune with the meta, ended up reusing DaWob's Caly Ice Xern Semiroom from his team dump and losing.

Week 2
:Miraidon: :Zacian-Crowned: :Kyogre-Primal: :rayquaza-mega: :whimsicott: :Lunala:
This week was versus Schister, and I knew he would look pretty heavily into my past usage. I was struggling a lot to build the format last week with my original cores from last year all feeling really weak. Decided to build out a VGC-esque team modeling off swordfish structures and E-Seed Lunala. Performed super well in testing and is probably something that could be further explored. I also discovered this week that whimsicott is insanely annoying into all the prominent structures.

Week 3
:Calyrex-shadow: :Groudon-primal: :zamazenta-crowned: :rayquaza-mega: :xerneas: :whimsicott:
I noticed that Smudge was kinda locked into the standard Zamazenta Xerneas structures the first two weeks, ended up concocting a team that I think is pretty anti-zama and is probably one of the best structures in the format right now. Roar Zamazenta ended up being clutch for anti-trick room, which this team does struggle against.

Week 5
:groudon-primal: :xerneas: :zacian-crowned: :Incineroar: :yveltal: :rayquaza-mega:
I decided to let ipbf get some team tour experience and take a spin this week. Frixel had been running Mirai + CSR structures all tour so we decided that yveltal and M-Ray was a strong bring into that. This team can autowin some matchups but there's a lot of stuff it struggles into.

Semis
:rayquaza-mega: :whimsicott: :Calyrex-shadow: :groudon-primal: :xerneas: :arceus:
I hadn't used E-Killer all tour so decided this was the week for it. Ended up taking the week 3 team since most of it was unrevealed and making a spin on it.

Overall a very fun tour, hopefully NDDUbers can continue to return and maybe get some side tours at some point because I think that the meta is still very underdeveloped and structures haven't truly been optimized due to the lack of high level games.

National Dex Ubers UU Teamdump

I probably had the worst record out of anyone in this tournament and if I'm going to be honest, I'm not a fan of the current ND Ubers UU. There is simply too much bullshit going on with the recent unbans. I did like the tier before the tier shifts, but everything following Week 1 felt more like a drag than anything else. I'm not the best at Ubers UU, which is probably why I didn't enjoy it as much as others probably did, but the fishiness of the tier isn't nice to play; this isn't the greatest comparison, but current ND Ubers UU feels like playing SV Ubers when it comes to balancing and the "overwhelmingness" of certain Pokemon that I'll get to.

Week One
:ribombee: :landorus: :roaring-moon: :blastoise-mega: :arceus-poison: :gholdengo:
Simple Sticky Webs structure utilising Landorus. I already knew Sticky Webs HO was solid in this tier so I didn't want to do anything extraordinary off the bat, hence I made this after a few test games. Originally had DD Arceus-Steel over Arceus-Poison but the team kinda got fucked by Toxic Spikes Toxapex. Too bad I somewhat forgot about OTR NDW though who wrecked my shit after that Tera Normal predict from Arceus-Poison.

Week Two
:chien-pao: :gholdengo: :landorus-therian: :diancie-mega: :reshiram: :arceus-grass:
Chien Pao got released, so I built a neat little BO team around it. Gholdengo + Landorus-T + Reshiram is nice defensive core, Reshiram + Mega Diancie helps deny hazards from going up, and Arceus-Grass helps against Water-types such as Urshifu-R and the entirety of rain. Kingambit is mildly annoying for the first two, but I was sure it would be worn down by at least one of them. What I wasn't expecting, was the idea that Groundium Z Pheromosa even existed.

Week Three
:regieleki: :landorus-therian: :magearna: :arceus-electric: :chien-pao: :dragapult:
I had noticed that most other people had leaned into offense-esque teams, with very few people deciding to load fatter structures. So I decided to use Regieleki, especially since I don't recall the last time I actually used Tera Blast Ice variants of the guy. This team did actually pretty well in testing, even beating most HO teams that were pulled out. Unfortunately, while regular NDW is a fine matchup most of the time, Tera Fighting variants are basically impossible to fight against.

Week Five
:hatterene: :kingambit: :ursaluna: :dialga: :dracovish: :magearna:
If you know me well enough, you know I hate Trick Room, but I knew I needed at least one win under my belt this tour to not be totally and completely dogshit, so I just brought Trick Room, and wow, perfect MU.

Semifinals
:tapu-lele: :deoxys: :sneasler: :chien-pao: :blastoise-mega: :landorus-therian:
Lastly, I rounded things off with another loss with PsySpam. I thought Sneasler was actually pretty neat into a lot of things, but clearly not Pecharunt + Pheromosa structures since these just massacre this instead.

If you can't tell by my descriptions/analysis/summaries, I am not really keen on this meta. It just feels all over the place. It felt like I was guessing most of my matchups rather than actually knowing what could and couldn't pop up, and to be honest, I didn't really have any trust in what I was building beyond Week 1 because of the horrid and sudden drops that occured. Am I washed? Probably. But compared to other tournaments that I joined, where I don't main the tier I'm playing, this one felt really weak. It didn't really help I was up against people who regularly play Ubers UU-esque metagames either. Sorry to BoingK and Amstan for being such a flop, honestly even I didn't expect myself to do this badly.
:blobpensive::blobpensive:

:pheromosa:
Simply just too strong. Forces too much progress with U-turn alone, meanwhile it can run multiple different items from Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Groundium Z, and even Heavy-Duty Boots to mess with fat structures. It has a very annoying movepool with pretty much every coverage move it could ever want, all while the ability to sweep thanks to Beast Boost + Adamant nature. I don't really think there is a hard check to Pheromosa, let alone a counter. It's also disgustingly easy to throw onto teams. Need speed control? Need a sweeper? Need a pivot? Pheromosa does all that and then some. Even if its not giga-broken, it is wayyyyyyy too overcentralising.

:necrozma-dawn-wings:
OTR sets are just plain obnoxious. This Pokemon doesn't die to anything, it's way too bulky, has perfect coverage with Tera Fighting/Fairy, and is braindead easy to pilot most of the time. Similar to Pheromosa, it doesn't feel like there's an answer to it, just running around it like a headless chicken until Trick Room runs out, which is more than enough time for NDW to blow a hole through your team.

:chien-pao:
I am shocked at how many people insist this Pokemon is balanced in the tier. Just because its a nice source of speed control, does not make it healthy to play and build against. While it doesn't have perfect coverage, and it may have 4MSS to an extent, it has just as much item and movepool flexability as Pheromosa does. Choice Band, Fightinium Z + SD, Darkinium Z + SD, 4A HDB; it even gets Taunt which is obnoxious as hell. Trying to decipher which set it is, is basically impossible until its too late and you've just lost your Magearna or Toxapex. Sure, it keeps Mewtwo in check, but so does Pheromosa. And even if Pheromosa wasn't here, what's the crime in banning all of them? This feels like a SV Ubers Koraidon situation (but worse) where, sure, Choice Scarf is very nice speed control, but trying to become tolerant to all of the other sets it can run is a nightmare.

:fighting-gem: :ghost-gem: :flying-gem:
Not a Pokemon, but Terastalization in this tier is just cancerous. It enables so many Pokemon to do so much bullshit it is insane. I've already talked about NDW, but others such as Arceus formes, Kingambit, Mewtwo, Pheromosa, Magearna, Dracovish, more recently Gouging Fire, and even Deoxys to an extent, become insanely difficult to handle reasonably. Most of these interactions involve burning your own Tera, which just leaves you open to other random crap like Mega Blastoise. I'm not sure if it can be suspected since NDUbers has it legal, but if it can, removing this mechanic would be an improvement methinks, especially when most defensive Pokemon can't afford to use it nowadays.

It means a lot that I was considered and bid a decent amount on by BoingK and Amstan. Thank you guys for drafting me and despite not playing many games, I understand why of course (jscurf proved why he's the goat but I would've went undefeated trust) but it was still really cool to be a part of ndampl for the first time.

Week 1: 35 Pokes

I built quite a few teams for week 1 and also because of my enjoyment for the meta. I didn't know what 35 Pokes was when February 2024 was the active meta, but after watching replays, playing games, and building, I think it's become one of my favourite 35 metas. There are a lot of styles you can go with and my precious Bulky Offense is really good this meta. The team I brought to week 1 is a standard Bulky Offense team. I didn't get to show off the team much because Serperior decided he was him on that day, but I feel like you could bring this to any game and do well with it. There isn't really a bad/impossible matchup for it.

Week 4: Natdex UUbers

I asked to sub in for Natdex UUbers in week 4, and I really appreciate BoingK and Amstan for giving me the chance to prove myself here. Obviously I choked the game lmao, but at least I can lay there in the dead of night and stare at the ceiling, imagining a world where I clicked Tera Blast Water into Gliscor and 6-0'd to make one of the biggest upsets of the tour when I had my Landorus-T at +2 Att and Spe.

I built the team more in line with what I like (From my experience with the tier) and what was good into my opponent's previous teams, which were very ground weak. The tier is already very ground weak in general, hence the offensive Landorus-T and Groundium-Z Pheromosa. Scarf Tapu-Lele is one of the best scarfers in the tier, especially after Chien Pao dropped to the tier. However, as shown in that game, I was very naive to not bring any removal, especially after losing Terapagos in the tier. The meta right now, in my opinion, isn't in the best state. Chien Pao is a menace and the addition of Hatterene makes Trick room even harder to deal with. And the lack of proper removal options is frustrating.

All in all, this was a very fun experience and not being a starter may have been a blessing since I won my 2nd 35 monthly tournament, July 2025. I'd love it if I'm considered and drafted again for next ndampl as a starter if 35 Pokes is one of the chosen metas again.

ND UUBERS (EWWWWWW!)(Teamdump)

tbh this format feels kinda buns at times, but winning games is a hell of a drug so i didnt mind it too much for most of the tour. imo HO is kinda the only common archetype i think is super valid, fatter or fat stuff cant get around crumbling if it rolls any number of threats. individual mons wise i think NDW is great, i rly like otr (cause HO is so good and otr is both good on and against it, setup poisonceus check is nice asw) but i reckon cm stuff or even an idef cm mono stored set reminiscent of dusk mane in sv could potentially work and that overall it should be explored more (assuming it doesnt get banned cause ik some ppl want that). i think hamu is slept on as a HO lead, its a lead that beats other hazard leads like deo, has encore, and spreads chip while just settings its layers. i rly like lorb phero, mostly ada but with pao rising jolly is prob a good option, poisonceus is a pain cause no ground z but that mon just doesnt pop up enough to a point where its annoying. i think eleceus is pretty cracked, i mostly ran ekiller supercell (no gira usage lets this thing destroy teams) but cm bolt beam is also great (modest on webs is super strong). i personally am not a huge landot enjoyer, i think it is pretty exploitable as a defensive piece, due both to lack of recovery and t fly making it fodder, but i do recognise how it can feel needed as ground answers r kinda sparse (for that reason i dont dislike scarf landot as much since eq can whack a lot of stuff). i think pao is vry good asw, but is can however feel a bit hit or miss as it finding an sd is far from ez, and if u run into a mag ur getting ur +2 darkinium chip and then ur done. it can however also clean up or break amazingly when it gets the right mu so it kinda balances out. if the meta does someone reach a point where balance is the dominant team style band would prob be op but i also doubt such a point will ever occur so kind of a non point. i think webs is a bit mu fishy if more defog mons start seeing use with the move but atm that isnt rly the case so it mostly gets all its upsides without the downside of needing ghold or every mon to have taunt on its set, NDW (or spect maybe) and some t ghosts is fine enough for now, i also just think t ghost is great cause ekiller is just insane vs so many teams and a t ghost is a very fittable thorn in its side. ive run out of yap now time for team dump.

Week 1
:sv/ribombee: :sv/Landorus-Therian: :sv/Arceus-Ice: :sv/Necrozma-Dawn-Wings: :sv/Samurott-Hisui: :sv/Gouging Fire:

The first week was a pretty weird, there had been pmuch zero acivity in the tiers tour scene for a hot minute (i remember seeing an open for the tier somewhere but idt it was super recent or high lvl) so was tryna build in the dark more or less. given this i mostly just picked some mons i knew to be good in SV, iceus, hamu, NDW (b4 it got banned), gouging, and then slapped them on webs and added a ground answer in landot (b4 i realised i dont like this mon). hp steel was for mega dia cause i felt like being goofy. mystic water hamu is an old sv ou set that i wanted to try out cause +2 t water mystic does have some nice calcs, sash was prob just better and it did not work out in the game. goug was sub t fly to fodder opposing lando and iceus was taunt for defog stuff. game went pretty poorly but it was only week 1 in a format that i didnt know very well (idt anyone did) so idrm.

Week 2
:sv/Landorus-Therian: :sv/Necrozma-Dawn-Wings: :sv/Gouging Fire: :sv/Arceus-Electric: :sv/Cloyster: :sv/Pheromosa:

This week I started to understand the meta a lil bit more. After the first week I didn't want to load webs again so no bee, and wasnt super keen on loading another hamu, partly cause fishy knows i love hamu in sv and when u expect a hamu u can def tech for it, and also just cause itd be mid the prior week. This was the week I fell in love with lorb phero, taxel double kick lets it prevent both bee and hamu from setting their hazards, and cc is just insanely strong, threatened 2hko and forced t fly vs the physdef mag that swapped into it during the game. taunt is nice since the limited coverage means u can potentially give set up oppurtunities. i chose cloyster because; A) i expected a HO load from fishy, B) tspikes r nice in this tier since poisonceus is the only super common absorber and its not always there since any other arc means its not coming, and lastly C) because fishy loaded it in SV and it was funny. i chose the nicknames as a joke, with every nickname (minus goug cause i couldnt think of one) larping as a different set;

u see me rocking (Landot): pretty obvious, bluffing rocks
the shiniest rock (NDW): rock polish rather than tr
judge(ment) + jury (Eleceus): bolt beam cm
RowRow FightDaPow (Cloyster): iykyk but bluffing t ground drill run or at least just drill run, i didnt rly expect him to get it just thought the name was funny
e speed me (Phero): kinda double bluff in a way, but was larping t ghost

Game wasn't super pretty with it being a win with me getting lucky in the last few turns but i fs did think i was starting to understand the tier better.

Week 3
:sv/Samurott-Hisui: :sv/Necrozma-Dawn-Wings: :sv/Arceus-Electric: :sv/Chien-Pao: :sv/Pheromosa: :sv/Lugia:

im p sure this was the week pao dropped (mightve been the week b4) but regardless i knew i wanted to use it. this week i left building much too late so i ended taking the team i saw fishy load earlier in the week and just recreating then editing it. only real changes were making pao the z user and changing phero to my beloved lorb anti lead set. i was in such a rush however that i forgot to double check stuff and forgot to set tera types on hamu and eleceus (i think i had my eleceus as z electric at some point when editing then forgot to make it normal when pao became the z user, for hamu im just dumb). fishy has an obsession with genesect which i cant understand so i dropped it for red card lugia, its smthing which has seen slight use in sv and is just a nice anti HO tech, a style i thought i was very weak too. this is the first week where i actually have a decent recollection of what happened so a bit more detail 4 the game. the missing teras and dropping genesect didnt end up mattering in the end as pao went brazy scaring every mon with sucker and managing to get multiple SDs off my opponent didnt attack into it, its z move also came in clutch nuking the opposing mag from 50. i forget what happened exactly but it ended up coming down to my NDW not getting crash flinched by a pao, but thxfully it didnt nd it eneded up as a win. this was the first week where i felt i played well (better*, debatable whether it was played well).

Week 4
:sv/Pelipper: :sv/Palafin-Hero: :sv/Swampert-Mega: :sv/Hatterene: :sv/Ferrothorn: :sv/Palkia-Origin:

This week i once again left prep late, starting to see a trend smth smth, but i actually did put an original team together this week, in fact i put 2 together. initially i had another basic webs build somewhat similar to my week 1 team but then i thought to myself 'I've loaded HO 3 weeks in a row now, maybe i should switch it up before i get cteamed', and thxfully i did as that lead me to tossing together a palafin rain team. id considered trying to fit palafin on my initial HO build as i felt it had a great mu with my opp having limited water resists in past weeks plus a good mu vs HO generally. the other mons were kinda just filler, mandatory drizzle mon in peli, swift swim non in pert, hazard denial and setting with hatt and phero, and a special rain abuser in porigin, nothing super interesting with the sets, only other option i rly considered was scale shot t water on the porigin but i felt pala prio and swift swim was enough speed control/general speed already. it is no exaggeration to say i was shocked to see the mu when i loaded into the game, a weather war was fs not what i was expecting to play that week, but weather def was a pretty decent plan into my prior HO spam. at preview i thought the game was pretty cooked, i didnt expect to able to break wake with pala and i was worried poisonceus would just sweep at some point. t1 i managed to get a t wave on poisonceus with porigin which was big and made me feel a lot better bout the mu (it ended up not even being dd so it wasnt actually that big but i didnt know that yet). pert eq ended up putting in big work early vs no ground resist and then porigin dominated the later part of the with sub meaning i didnt have to make any preds. felt i played fine enough this week, dont think too much can be read into with the absurd teams.

Week 5
:sv/Samurott-Hisui: :sv/Lucario-Mega: :sv/Necrozma-Dawn-Wings: :sv/Gouging Fire: :sv/Arceus-Electric: :sv/Pheromosa:

not super much to say about this week, my team was already qualled for poffs, and we were locked either 2nd or 3rd seed so we would play the same team in the semi finals regardless. ended up retooling my 2nd week team, dropping cloyster for the saner pick of hamu, and dropping fraudo therian for mega luc. ended up loading into tr (suprised it didnt happen sooner) and missing ceaseless t1 so not much to say lol.

Semi-Finals
:sv/Ribombee: :sv/Chien-Pao: :sv/Arceus-Electric: :sv/Pheromosa: :sv/Necrozma-Dawn-Wings: :sv/Samurott-Hisui:

i had initially planned to build my first non HO build for this game, given it was semis and i'd been punished so hard for HO the week prior, so i started doing some prep earlier in the week with a bit of ideas dump figuring i'd get back round 2 it eventually given i had 5 more days till the game. then those 5 days turned to 3, those 3 turned to 1, and that 1 turned to 2 hours, and i was back to building right b4 my game. given i was nearly outa time i managed to convince myself that since they cteamed me so hard the week b4 (our semis opp was our week 5 opp) they wouldnt do so again, expecting me to learn from my mistake, unfort for them i dont learn from my mistakes. i mentioned it earlier but i didnt initially plan to use rain week 4, instead having a webs team, i decided to take that base and update it, the team already had my week 1 combo of bee-hamu-NDW for webs, spikes, and spin-blocking, and i then attatched some of the mons that i had grown to like over the weeks since, eleceus, phegoatmosa, and z pao. i dropped the crack head hp steel bee from week 1 for skill swap, in mainly due to hatt dropping in the weeks since. hamu also became sash encore rather than sd mystic water cause i wanted an actual reliable set. i initially planned to use sd eleceus again but ultimately changed it so thered be at least one curve ball, i also made it modest over timid which came in nice to guarentee a ko on pao for the battle, and to help win a cm war with a steelceus. upon seeing mu for the game initially i was pretty certain i was cooked as i more or less forgot to include a palafin answer, and 5 min b4 the game i had also changed my eleceus from t water to t ghost which i was kicking myself for. the t ghost in actuality ended up coming up huge for me, giving me an answer to my opps boots pheromosa that constantly threatened to remove webs or clean my whole team. despite the whole game being played on knife's edge with me trying desperately to keep my hamu eleceus out of t water jet punch range ko range, lest it win the entire game, i managed to come thru off the back of some eleceus heavy lifting in the midgame and pao cleaning up in the endgame. i feel this was my best played match of the tour, so while it is sad it was the last im happy i went out on a somewhat highnote.

Closing Thoughts
I initially signed up 4 this tour cause space bugged me about it and then forgot about the tour until i recieved the teamcord invite, but it actually eneded up being very fun. team enviroment was chill (until it wasnt) even if it was slightly dead at times. its a shame we went out the way we did considering our finals hopes were looking promising but stuff happens and what r u gonna do. obligatory manager s/o SpaceSpeakers LordBox for drafting me, even if space did become my top opp, even telling me to cancer the tour following wk5, truly a meanie oat, and even if box did whomegalul me b4 the tour. this is my easily my longest spiel so if u read thru it all my condolences, and if u didnt np thx for reading this part.

edit: space continues to harass me despite our tour run being over, so to appease him s/o SpaceSpeakers for being a fun manager to team with, it was very fun fking around with u throughout the tour and i hope i can josh around with u more in the future.

After seeing 7md's post I decided it would be fun to make a dump of the teams I made and my thought process this season
I was pretty happy to be drafted this season despite signing up on a whim with no real reputation to speak off so it was very cool to have an opportunity to play and support a team which was a lot of fun so ty to SpaceSpeakers and LordBox for drafting me. I hadn't played feb24 before this as I wasn't around 35 the time of current so it was intriguing as one hand I had some people telling me the meta was boring fishy and "milked" and others telling me it was a top 5 meta. If I had to choose between the two I'd definitely agree with the latter. This meta is very fun and definitely a top for me now. Very sequence based with some healthy centralisation and the building is very rewarding and intuitive. Want to quickly shoutout bumboclaat for all the practice this season- really helped a lot for testing my teams :D.

Week 2: W
https://pokepast.es/34aa1b18cd99726d
This was my first real team this season. The first thing I looked at was my opponent which was the tier leader himself typhon. Even after helping a lot week 1 I was still unsure about the tier and I had never played him personally so I was not quite in the know of what to expect. I decided to look at his week 1 for some inspiration. It was a fairly standard team but what stood out to me was the fact that his snorlax took 38 from nidoqueen sludge wave and it wasn't leftovers which indicated a less bulky set. Based on my previous games nidoqueen had a strong offensive and defensive presence with massive versatility being able to take advantage of passive walls like skarmory and mold itself to its teams desires. Which sort of reminded me of palpitoad which I was using to great success in one 35s extended metas so I was fairly confident I had something I'd be comfortable with. I decided to bring a standard life orb superpower set to take advantage of lax even further. Specs prim was a pretty nice addition as after nidoqueen weakened snorlax it could mow through the remainder of the team so that was the initial synergy. The rest of the team is fairly standard. Physdef sitrus quag helmet skarm to beat to beat lax. av lax to eat everything and not get taken advantage of by tauros since I'm running a specs prim. and scarf tauros to deal with unforseen threats and clean.
unfortunately scheduling was kinda hard this week so we had to take the double sub :(
In tests I had to play this team quite well or it got taken advantage of due to the more temporary nature of it. Midgrounds and positioning are very important this meta due to the pivotless nature of it so you have to put yourself in the drivers seat otherwise you would fold to the opposing offense. Fortunately my sub Tjoker played the team well and we were able to get the W

Week 3: W
https://pokepast.es/bc50b5362082d4cc
By the third week I started to get more comfortable with the meta. I was playing jscurf which was a daunting task considering his undefeated record in 35PL but I knew If I tried hard enough I could count on my prep to win. When looking through his teams I noticed he was running a style of offense which was quagless and laxless that relied on serp to beat prim and banded tauros to make progress with tyrantrum for cleaning and nidoqueen for defensive utility skarm and rocks. The teams didn't have too much defensive utility but he bought 6 good mons that were hard to exploit and backed himself to win. Initially like everybody else who had tried I built a zeb team as it was a no brainer vs nidoqueen serp offense to bring a hhp overheat zeb as it could perform very well with the right support. The team however felt horrible in testing. At the end of the day a zeb is still a zeb. Very inconsistent to break vs fat. Zeb had very little entry opportunities and supporting it to break was a nightmare. It was kind of like trying to make a team around a rocker. you had nothing else to base the team off and it felt really bad in practice. I decided to pivot the team in a different direction and bring something I was comfortable with being nidoqueen. I noticed nidoqueen was even better than zeb since it had defensive utility and breaking. I really liked it since it gave me the tools to play in any matchup. The rest of the team was made to support the queen. Sitrus prim was a blanket check to the fires. Scarf tauros was meant to revenge the tyrant serp zeb and the fires. Lax was meant to check his nidoqueen and put on pressure to give nido free entry opportunities. Skarm was meant to check the phys attackers. and finally I decided to bring back zeb as after all I needed a serp answer
On to the game I was still rather nervous lol but I was reassured when I loaded into about what I expected. From turn 1 the game was about trying to not lose to his banded tauros' cc while getting in zeb and nido for opportunities to do damage. Basically I had to win quickly and make plays or I would fold to his offense. I think I made pretty good midgrounds based on the gamestate. A few missplays here and there in the endgame but I was happy with how the game turned out. Nido and zeb did what I wanted and I was able to secure the tauros win so I was happy

Week 4: L
https://pokepast.es/8be345f2284eb1d9
for week 4 I was benched and cringecat was playing so I decided to support. I can't remember this week too well since I was pretty busy and not playing . Looking through Irides teams I noticed a reliance a lot of quag prim. I noticed lax wasn't too common and if it did come it was always 3 attack tect. I decided to make a double fire offense for him. Irides prims tended to be on the less bulky side so I figured cb tauros was a good bring. The team was a fairly standard double fire offense. Prim lax as the defensive core. Zeb as the serp answer with toxic to wear down quag for ceru and nido as the scarfer and ground. I'd say in the game nido and tauros had a good matchup. av lax proved why it's good being able to check the prim take out the skarm and make it so that ceru doesn't have a free entry opportunity. Irides team was well built and strong into offense. Hazard control was less important in testing as the team tended to win very quickly and denied hazards with pressure it would probably have been better here. not a bad game overall we simply fell short of the win

Week 5: W
https://pokepast.es/d610bf7ea974613c
For week 5 I was back in. despite that I had close to nothing to go off this week which was kind of hard. I knew who the builder was so that gave me some slight ideas. I didn't want to get too predictable so I decided to switch up my style this week and bring something I wouldn't usually being an offense team designed to beat opposing offense. I saw tyrantrum had a really nice matchup into the ceruledge offense that the builder was bringing so I thought I should build around that. Originally I wanted to bring band for the powa. However scarf was much better and felt really nice for revenging. I knew snorlax would come into me because of my nidoqueen usage so tyrant was a good bring in that regard. I ended up making a lot of variations of the team talking with many players and only really had time to test the tyrant as a sub on some other teams. I was bringing some quagsire/Skarm/prim/tauros which I really disliked. ceru + quag was hard to make progress vs and the team had to be able to grasp momentum back from quag which it wasn't doing at the moment. Physdef skarm was also a really bad matchup. after talking to shoota I decided to try his snorlax set with ceruledge. it was incredibly effective. Ceruledge with protect snorlax was really hard to take down despite it being a pretty offensive idea it fit really well as ceru gave me a way to chip quag and be a more long term lax switchin. I end up transitioning the skarm to a toxic zeb to chip quag further. Now that I had ceruledge for tauros I made primarina into a serp for defog support and a quag answer. Obviously nido had to come this time with shuca max hp for a more supporting role. And that was the team
hopping in the game it was not at all what I was expecting. from the looks of it the main mon I had to worry about was the tauros. if not for it lax + nido was able to sit on the team so I was confident and went in to the game. I got pretty unlucky early on but I tried to continue getting myself into a good position with stealth rock toxic and chip. eventually things were looking really nice for my queen but serp decided he was him and decided he wanted to win on the spot. balloon zeb was pretty clutch as without it I would have had a way harder time vs the tauros which almost swept. I was pretty happy with the game and felt comfortable with the tier by this point

SEMIFINALS: W
https://pokepast.es/382c3a81dbf576e9
semifinals was a rematch with the same team from week 5 except this time with a different player. I was expecting offense this time again. Because they had lost last week with fat and they had a different more offensive player so I was pretty confident it was coming. Now this week the first thing I did was put on the nidoqueen. I didn't know what I was bringing all I knew was that shuca nido has a really nice offense matchup and I love this mon. after that my main idea was that specs prim had a nice matchup breaking into the kind of offense my opponent was bringing aswell as having a nice matchup into its sweepers. I was expecting some kind of setup fire type after last week and my lax usage. as you can see there is no specs prim on the final paste tho. The reason for that is that specs prim fell short in some ways. I do not like sire teams. I like having the game in my hands and it feels like sire removes so much agency. The problem with the specs prim team is that it was quite vulnerable to toxic quag since prim doesn't break immediately and nothing else can soak the hit The teams also struggled into lorb/ebelt tauros since prim is so frail without investment. i didn't like specs prim on very offensive teams and I don't like sire fat so It was hard to fit. In the end I ended up taking what I liked about specs prim being the power of psynoise and moonblast and I ended up making it itemless rest to have a really nice matchup into basically everything. It felt very flexible and put on massive pressure which I really liked. The prim felt really strong In one of my tests by turn 10 the opponents quag lax and av prim were all at 50%. The rest of the team was composed of snorlax + ceru as sneak ceru was another idea I had for the anti offense factor and snorlax was a very natural pairing fitting well on this team to soak special hits. The skarm served as a more temporary mixxed wall being able to chip the lax heavily with psynoise + flip into helmet. It did what the team needed in removing body pressing and checking serp. and finally scarf tauros last as it has been consistently really good at revenging
hopping into the battle I really liked the preview. My prep had payed off and prim was really well positioned in this matchup. I did not have to make many plays this game as the team did a lot of the heavy lifting. Pretty clean game overall I wasn't worried about much. My special offense had a good matchup. Overall this is probably in my top 2 team this season. the team did really nice work of damaging everything for a tauros/lax endgame.

Overall gotta say this was an awesome season. Really chill team awesome support very fun tier. Kinda sad we didn't make it but that's how she goes. can't be mad after all that and playing in such a great tier
mvp of this season has def been nidoqueen with big laxxer in a close second. Controversial take but nido is best mon in the tier in my opinion. Insanely consistent really good defensive utility really good no prediction breaking. The role compression and set versatility is insane. It really puts the game in your hands. you can never say you weren't able to do anything with a nidoqueen.
Regardless really cool season. I hope if 35 is a chosen meta again I will get the opportunity to play once more.

shoutout to BIGSHOT_ranger and Ember Celica for giving me consitently really good feedback on my teams this season. was a lot of help and is much appreciated to have a knowledgable player to talk to

waow

1v1 teams I built and used. They're not perfect, but I think they're pretty cool.

:Tapu Fini: :Tapu Koko: :Landorus-Therian:
Tapu Fini @ Waterium Z
Ability: Misty Surge
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rain Dance
- Hydro Pump
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss

Tapu Koko @ Electrium Z
Ability: Electric Surge
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 248 HP / 100 Def / 160 Spe
Impish Nature
- Iron Defense
- Roost
- Charge
- Wild Charge

Landorus-Therian @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 56 HP / 40 Atk / 236 Def / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Fly
- Earthquake
- Rock Tomb

All of these sets were stolen from SM. Defensive Koko is nutty and kinda only loses to Grounds, grasses, and some select Steels and other really powerful pokemon. Slow Bulky LandoT really helps secure a lot of the holes and Z-Rain Dance Fini is just a good pokemon.

:gyarados-mega: :zygarde: :darmanitan-galar:

Gyarados-Mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 88 HP / 144 Atk / 180 SpD / 96 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Power Whip
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch

Zygarde @ Groundium Z
Ability: Power Construct
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SpD
Impish Nature
- Breaking Swipe
- Thousand Arrows
- Coil
- Extreme Speed

Darmanitan-Galar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Gorilla Tactics
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Iron Head

Probably one of my favorite teams I built. Breaking Swipe on ZygC gives a lot of consistency into Zard, which historically Zygarde just hasn't had. Gyarados has speed for +1 tapu fini and 6.25% chance to be 2hko'd by freeze dry bundle, so it's pretty good at being anti-waters thanks to power whip. DarmG fills in some holes.

:naganadel: :Iron Bundle: :aggron-mega:
Naganadel @ Firium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Sludge Wave

Iron Bundle @ Waterium Z
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Freeze-Dry
- Hydro Pump
- Substitute

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Heavy Slam
- Rest

Not a lot to talk about on this team tbh. I think Iron Bundle is one of the most underrated pokemon in the format right now. Z-Pump at it's speed tier is just nutty. Ice Beam and Freeze Dry are both just good moves and Substitute lets you play around things like Thunderclap Raging Bolt.

:ambipom: :Lilligant-hisui: :Volcarona:
Ambipom @ Normalium Z
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Triple Axel
- Giga Impact
- Tickle

Lilligant-Hisui (F) @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Hustle
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Victory Dance
- Close Combat
- Leaf Blade
- Poison Jab

Volcarona @ Buginium Z
Ability: Swarm
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 192 HP / 52 Def / 12 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Overheat
- Quiver Dance
- Substitute

I never felt confident to run this because well, look at it, but this was me theorymoning some ideas together. Ambipom getting access to Technician boosted Triple Axel is no joke. (252 Atk Technician Ambipom Triple Axel (120 BP) (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Zygarde: 420-504 (100 - 120%) -- guaranteed OHKO), meanwhile I think just Hustle-Boosted Z-CC from Lilligant is just deadly. Unfortunately I think you never get to Victory Dance in any match up. I do not remember what Volcarona was bulked for.

:Dragonite: :iron bundle: :Ogerpon-hearthflame:

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 152 HP / 216 Atk / 4 Def / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Dual Wingbeat

Iron Bundle @ Waterium Z
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Freeze-Dry
- Ice Beam
- Substitute

Ogerpon-Hearthflame (F) @ Hearthflame Mask
Ability: Mold Breaker
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Wood Hammer
- Trailblaze
- Encore
I think Band Dnite is good, but I think this Band DNite is just wrong tbh. Non-Fly flying STAB is so nice finally, but Dnite should prob have more speed investment. Meanwhile Bundle is still just good and I think Oger is a good pairing with it.

:melmetal: :primarina: :venusaur-mega:

Melmetal @ Choice Band
Ability: Iron Fist
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 164 HP / 148 Atk / 4 Def / 192 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Superpower
- Ice Punch
- Double Iron Bash
- Earthquake

Primarina @ Primarium Z
Ability: Torrent
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Sparkling Aria
- Moonblast
- Aqua Jet
- Encore

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 208 HP / 124 SpA / 176 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Giga Drain
- Charm
- Synthesis

Melm is broken. That's pretty much it. Prim and Venu fill the few holes that CB Melm don't win.

:regieleki: :Gyarados-mega: :charizard-mega-x:
Regieleki @ Electrium Z
Ability: Transistor
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Charge
- Zap Cannon
- Thunder Cage
- Reflect

Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 28 Def / 44 SpD / 144 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Taunt

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flare Blitz
- Outrage

I think this might just be one of the strongest cores in the meta tbh. Gyarados and Zard have an absurd amount of versatility and Eleki is just a nuke. I did fully special but you can easily drop Reflect for Supercell Slam and go mixed.
