"Hey everyone, and welcome to today's Normal Rank Contest! We've got three competitors for you today, each planning their own magnificent performances that are sure to wow you with stunning Coolness, dazzle you with incredible Beauty, and win you over with adorable Cuteness! We'll get to see the competitors soon enough, but first, let's welcome our wonderful judges. Please give them a hand!"

The judges each walk to their seats while the audience claps wildly and waves signs. When May enters with her famous Blaziken, the crowd erupts into cheers. A few audience members even faint.

"And now for the competitors. Please welcome Chrono, Mamo, and Gem to the stage!"

Each of the contestants walk onto the stage, and the house lights dim, leaving spotlights shining on each contestant.

"Now that we've met all of the judges and performers, it's time for the Unveilings! Our competitors will each unveil their Pokémon partners in a specially prepared performance. Then YOU, the audience, will be able to vote for your favorite! Simply scan the QR code on the programs you've been given to access the voting website. For viewers at home, you can scan the QR code being displayed on the screen right now. Now without further ado, let the Unveilings begin. Good luck to all, and let's have a great contest!"

Gem rolls a pokéball off the stage, where it opens up with... a Rotom? That's not what was entered!
"Hit it, Motélé!"


The Rotom zips into a nearby speaker, and upbeat music starts playing.

Then Gem tosses a second pokéball high into the air, where it springs open in a flash of light.



Castette the Gardevoir floats down, dancing along to the music. She accents the instrumental hits with with bursts of psychic energy, displaying a cheerful countenance. As the song finishes she the takes a deep curtsy, and moves to shake each competitor's hand... or other limbs. She waves at the audience, making a cheerful noise.
*Wooo! Whee!*​

Emma Cole comes onto the stage holding what looks like an Arbok in her arms.

She places it down and gracefully maneuvers it in circles around herself, showing that it's a puppet.

She finds a rhythm in the movements, and they become more aggressive.
The show is somewhere between a battle and a dance, and it's easy to forget the Arbok isn't a real Pokemon.

She holds it as though they are two bitter enemies locked in a heated confrontation...

Before one of her strikes "defeats" the Arbok and she drops it to the stage floor, lifeless.
