ORAS: Kaboom vs Heysup - the most interesting matchup here. Why the cosmogs picked and chose ORAS is a little beyond me, but I guess they think it's an advantage since Kaboom is slotted here instead of bouli (they essentially eliminate bouli from the potential tiebreak lineup). I will bold Kaboom here because I think he has more time and he will prepare better, even though my instinct would be to bold Heysup in a normal game.
DPP: reggg vs Piyu - Piyu is a great player. Based on his lack of familiarity with the tier, I would probably bold reggg (who is also having a great season). termnal woops you're vindicated if they win here lol.

Wow. I truly don't even know where to begin. To say this was a roller coaster of a season would be an understatement. Four weeks in we were on top of the world, and then somehow we found ourselves in a spot where our fate was completely out of our hands. Once we got into the playoffs I had no doubt of what we were capable of, and I couldn't be more proud of our team for regrouping and start performing at a level we once had. There's so many people to shoutout, and I will go into that now.
BlackKnight_Gawain I know you take a lot of shit, but there's honestly very few people who deserve this more than you. You had a rough start in ADV, but were always a consistent help in prep across many slots and always showed support.
avarice I know you didn't perform to the level you probably wanted too, but you were always around and available and that's all I can ask for as a manager. You were also the first person to mention playing Piyu in DPP for the TB, and that obviously ended up being a great decision.
Fantos13 You were great presence all year, I wish I got to see more of this side of Fantos on the Snubbulls. I know you are probably disappointed in your performance but despite that you were always around to help and were another important piece to the Cosmog puzzle.
AJ The first overall pick in the midseason draft, your energy was felt from the get and you were one of our most active players since you joined the team. I really wish we could have gotten you more opportunities to play, because you absolutely deserved it. I know you have a bright LC future ahead of you.
Taka Availability is the best ability. You flexed in many weeks on a short notice, and always performed. Similar to AJ, I wish you could have played more, but for so many weeks our SV was a tough group to crack. You also had an amazing presence all season long.
Fogbound Lake You are an amazing player. I don't think I beat you in a test game all season long. You were an anchor in our SV lineup and you won many battles to help get us where we got.
Lialiabeast Another goat midseason pick up. After we drafted you we put you in a tier you were relatively unfamiliar with. With great support you were able to completely turnaround an ADV slot that was bleeding. You also won the tiebreak forcing battle which was unbelievably clutch.
Heysup The ORAS goat. Back to back tours you've clutched up for me in tiebreak. I know you have many other things going on in your life right now, so I really appreciate your time this tournament.
Eniigma I'm so glad we were able to team together for the first time officially. As many people know you were really the reason I got into LC such a long time ago. You were an anchor for our SV core all season long and delivered many amazing wins against great players. I'm glad we were able to deliver you your first LC team tour win. I look forward to this run continuing for in this upcoming SCL.
Voltix My first time ever teaming with you and man did you deliver. Things aren't finalized but I believe you will have finished as the top slot on our team. You dominated the SM pool this entire season and had many clutch wins week in week out. You were so important in this journey and I couldn't be more happy to have you as a player.
Piyu Absolute legend. I'm glad you were able to overcome Gawain's presence in the chat. We slotted you in a tier that you have never played prior and became a consistent winning slot for us all season. You won many important battles down the stretch, and obviously ended up sealing it for us in the end in a tier you had minimal experience in. You are one of the best players on this site, and you were an absolute steal for us.
Greedy_eb Where to begin with the Greedy write up... You were dealt the must unfortunate circumstance out of anyone in this tour. Luckily we were able to get you into the SV one week against *checks notes* Starsama. If you weren't consistently beating top players you might have gotten out of SS jail! When our season was on the line DC made the ultimate decision that we would be slotting you into SS in the tiebreak vs the Krabby's. In the most important battle of the season you kicked ass, and kept our dream alive. I hope that you get a chance to perform in SCL, because no one deserves the opportunity more than you do.
Laroxyl Another write up where I don't even know where to begin. Pretty much from the beginning DC and I decided that we would be drafting you no matter what the cost. I know things haven't been the best for you, but despite that you never wavered. You were prepping many slots and tested and built like an absolute animal in SV all season long. I'm so glad I've been able to manage and team with you over the years and couldn't be more thankful to be a part of this with you. You've been knocking at the LCPL Champion Door for so many years, and I'm so glad we were able to burst that door open and get you your crown. You are one of the best players on this site, and no one deserves this more than you.
DC Thank you so much for taking a leap and running this with me. You provided scouts across every slot all season, and helped prep two of our most positive slots in SS and SM. I'm sure in a vacuum if you were to rank the managers most likely to win this tour at the beginning our names wouldn't have been high.
Lastly I'd like to shoutout all of our amazing helpers that joined us late in the season.
LilyAC Thank you so much for joining us and helping deliver our first DPP win in 7 weeks. You helped prep and build our final DPP team. You and many others helped ensure that Piyu was put in a position to succeed. You also completely influenced me to change my mind in our final tiebreak selection and that ended up paying off immensely.
Shing I know even prior to joining our discord you played a huge role in our turnaround in ADV providing suggestions and test for our players. Once you joined you helped build the tiebreak forcing team, and also helped prep our DPP tiebreak slot. I'm so glad I've been able to work with you and couldn't be more thankful to have you around.
Envy AS Saint Priest teamo natu Acehunter1 vooper Fernanch Thank you all so much for joining our discord and helping us get to the finish line. All of you but Teamo helped test and provide insight and we wouldn't have been able to do this without you.
One person that also deserves their own shoutout is TheIronPikachu. At one point our entire season was in your hands. Your team was eliminated playing against a team that was one win away from the playoffs. You went into battle against the best DPP player in LC history and won, and in doing so allowed us to fall ass backwards into the playoffs. We literally wouldn't have been able to do this without and for that I'm forever grateful in goat ass ipika. I hope you spent the $50 i sent you well.
Coconut I'm so glad that we were able to showdown in the finals. You were one of the first people to believe in me and for that I will always be thankful. I wouldn't be where I am without the opportunities you gave me.
Now with all the shoutouts over I'd like to end this with one question. If the Rufflets and Remoraiders this year are considered amongst the best teams in LCPL history, what does that make us?

Not a big s/o person, but I had to do this one just because of how special the season was for me. Firstly, GGs to both the Krabbys and the Remoraiders. Both series were incredibly tough series, and we had to work extremely hard to pull through; a lot of players I respect on both teams too. Going into this season, I was feeling quite motivated to be involved in LCPL, coming off a win in LCBC as a support to our UU and SS slots and playing the most amount of games I have played in like 3-4 years of LPL. I think I had a lot to prove as a manager given my poor track records in LPL managing, so I wanted to be more active with regards to scouting players, drafting properly, and building for the slots that needed it.
Heading into the draft, scouting players was a pretty time-consuming task with the sheer volume of signups. Cooper and I had a long discussion on our draft strategy, and it ultimately came down to a few points: draft strong SV core, draft inexpensive but self sufficient and/or high ceiling oldgen picks, and draft people that have good vibes. I think one of my biggest weakness as a manager previously was drafting the same people over and over again, so my goal heading into the draft was to try and draft people that I have never teamed with (which I think I did quite a good choice of lol). Long story short, season was a rollercoaster, but the results speak for itself once you cross the finish line. Now for the actual shoutouts!
LeJames Chonk : This team wouldn't have happened if you didn't reach out to me to manage together. We've teamed a couple times, dating back to the Snubbulls (robbed of that LPL btw), so I knew that we would work well. You played a major role in shaping the good vibes and energy of our team environment (s/o our team late night discussions), and you did work in SV with prep that didn't go unnoticed by me. I know that you weren't really happy with your whole season performance, but you were flexible with being in and out of the lineup, making room for other players, and willing to play DPP in finals. Enjoy the trophy boss because you deserve it (drink less please!)
Laroxyl : Can you believe that it has been 6 years that we first teamed up in LPL 3 Scrubs? Now, you are one of the top LC players on Smogon. Despite the 0-3 start, you showed us why we spent the big bucks on you with clutch SV plays and teambuilding assistance in SV and BW (a tier I cannot figure out for my life). Your game against Starsama for Semi TBs is one of the best comeback performances I've seen in a while, and you followed it up with another solid win over Eric in Finals. I have no doubt that you would have played your best against Eric again in TB, so I hope life treats you well and enjoy this trophy and SCL too!
Eniigma : I know that you aren't happy with how playoffs went for you, but we wouldn't have gotten to playoffs if you didn't dominate in the regular season for us. You have a very creative perspective on SV building, and I tried to not have our SV slots stifle that creativity. Personally, I enjoy seeing you bring unmons like Greavard and win, so it is a plus for me to team with you. Have fun in SCL and enjoy the CA!

Cooper and I were genuinely surprised by how self-sufficient you were in SV for a tour player. You built, tested, and piloted your teams very well, and we wouldn't have gotten to the finish line without key wins from you throughout the season. Enjoy the trophy and SCL as well!

I had a lot of fun building for you, even if we ended up bringing the same structure like 5 times in a row. You came up big for us, especially when I made the decision to override Cooper and go with SS tiebreak into one of the best SS LC players in Lily and you won the pivotal game. Hopefully, us slotting you in SS doesn't affect your SCL outlooks because you deserve it, but enjoy the trophy!
Voltix : El Volto. You put up a couple key wins in LPL for our squad, and you continued to do that in LCPL for this team. We are very happy that we got you for under 10k. I think we did a good job of building in SM for what it is worth, and you delivered many of our key wins. A 7 win season in SM is always worth celebrating (ban Veils pls!!!). Enjoy the trophy!
Heysup : Glaze moment, but you are the LC Goat. Both Cooper and I have very high positive opinions of you, so idt it was a surprise that we got you (it was surprising that you only went for 8.5k LOL). We knew that you would contribute when you finally had the chance to be slotted, so it was just about waiting until that happened. You came in clutch for us when it mattered in regular season and all three games in playoffs, so enjoy the trophy and to fatherhood with Littlesup.
Piyu : Another high radar pick on the DC pre-LCPL scouting report, we are glad to have gotten you for 7.5k. NGL, I thought we were cooked when you joined the discord and dropped logs of your beef with Gawain (hopefully it is over lol). Thank you for being flexible and willing to play an unfun tier like BW LC. You won us the trophy with your clutch plays throughout the regular season and in the two BW games and the DPP tiebreaker. Fantos13 : We have teamed a couple times, and they all have been very good experiences, so Cooper and I got you for a self-sufficient and inexpensive DPP slot. I know that the season was particularly rough for you in terms of results, but we saw how much things you did behind the scenes despite the results. Thank you for helping out in finals with testing and building, and enjoy the trophy and a beer as well!
Lialiabeast : THANK YOU for saving our season, especially in the situations where it mattered the most in ADV. We are so glad to have gotten you with the final pick in LCSL. You were already in the discord earlier to help out Fantos, and it was only right that we get you on the team officially. Prolly won't be going for the 3 in a row (cuz no hands or brain to play LCWC and rip US West), but ending the year with back-to-back trophies LC tour trophies isn't too bad if I do say so! LCPL has been one of my favorite tours ever since I started in LCPL X (s/o my managers Nineage, tko, and Ninjadog), and it feels good to finally break through the finals curse here.

Fantos13 : We have teamed a couple times, and they all have been very good experiences, so Cooper and I got you for a self-sufficient and inexpensive DPP slot. I know that the season was particularly rough for you in terms of results, but we saw how much things you did behind the scenes despite the results. Despite how much Cooper and I make fun of you, you were very instrumental in keeping the vibes up in our teamchat and serving as ADV and SV support. I know that your record isn't great, but your support played a big role in helping Lialia and Laroxyl bounce back in our struggling slots. avarice , AJ , and Taka : I want to apologize for not giving you guys enough playing time. That is one of the difficulties of juggling slots as a manager. Prolly won't be going for the 3 in a row (cuz no hands or brain to play LCWC and rip US West), but ending the year with back-to-back trophies LC tour trophies isn't too bad if I do say so! LCPL has been one of my favorite tours ever since I started in LCPL X (s/o my managers Nineage, tko, and Ninjadog), and it feels good to finally break through the finals curse here.
