Great Tusk finds itself to be a reliable form of speed control when given a shiny Choice Scarf, rattling the turn of events by outspeeding it's opponents it naturally couldn't and shifting the sands. With a Jolly Nature, and its handy dandy Choice Scarf, Great Tusk breaks the speed threshold of 450 to outspeed threats like Greninja and non-Choice Scarf Meowscarada. Close Combat effectively handles these Dark- type threats along with others like Roaring Moon. Headlong Rush is a better Ground- type STAB as with it's base 120 power it can threaten bulky Steel- types like Archaludon and Gholdengo. Knock Off is great for removing items off pesky bulky Pokemon like Rocky Helmet on Skarmory, while it remains an effective coverage to deal with weakened Slowbro and other Psychic's like the Lati twins. Ice Spinner helps versus Flying-types like Gliscor, Landorus, and Dragonite, while also hitting Mega Altaria for a 2kho while outspeeding even after a Dragon Dance. Alternatively, Megahorn can be used to deal with Ogerpon-Wellspring, a notable threat to Ground-type teams. Although Great Tusk has all these great attributes, it lacks the bulk that more defensive sets typically run and can be threatened out quite easily by Grass- and Water- type threats, along with Special Attackers. Clodsire pairs well with Great Tusk as it can swap in reliably and sponge these hits and be an effective water immunity. Clodsire also provides status and hazards to assist Great Tusk in cleaning up the competition. Hippowdon is a great secondary partner who Great Tusk can pivot into to sponge damage and not only setup sand but hazards. Excadrill, partnered with Great Tusk, provides a secondary physical wallbreaker. Utilizing either setup with Swords Dance under sand or Choice Band under sand to check Fairy- type threats that Great Tusk can't outspeed like Choice Scarf Tapu Lele or Tapu Bulu with its Steel- STAB. Mamoswine additionally assists as a secondary wallbreaker as it reliable takes on Flying- type threats that it can OHKO with its powerful Icicle Crash like Zapdos or Tornadus-Therian.

- The whole "Great Tusk finds itself to be a reliable form of speed control when given a shiny Choice Scarf, rattling the turn of events by outspeeding it's opponents it naturally couldn't and shifting the sands. With a Jolly Nature, and its handy dandy Choice Scarf, Great Tusk breaks the speed threshold of 450 to outspeed threats like Greninja and non-Choice Scarf Meowscarada." sentence is redundant; think you could mesh both into a single period. Would maybe give another example other than meow since that's almost always scarf in NDM;
- No need to describe what each STAB move does;
- Megahorn also hits Celebi, Slowbro, and Lati@s the hardest and makes Tusk pretty threatening into Psychic as a result;
- You can probably remove Hippo's mention as it's not directly related to Tusk; if you wanna keep it, then definitely add that it sets SR and Sand for auxiliary chip;
- Mention Landorus and Mega Garchomp as teammates that beat walls GT can't, like the steel birds and others.

1/2, great job! :staravia:
