I agree with the conclusion of the prior convo topic that vengefuls shouldn't play different to regular mafia. Despite that, Flandrs is giving a vengeful who disagrees with that optimal strategy lmfao

phoopes' posting has been better than most the game's it is weird for DBD to pull him up on that I didn't really notice that post

at least DBD's giving thoughts on a wider range of players but he's still wrong somehow lol

phoopes could be proficient scum for sure he's not townlocked, but he's certainly not bad scum or bad town

Idk if it does hugely btw this is one of the like most solo carryable setups ever both as town and mafia, town because once you get the gun you can just win obviously

if Hydro shoots 5 scum the chances of surviving as the sole remaining mafia feels so deeply, deeply low

even universally townread Texas wouldn't outlast the tide

You’re right btw we certainly all won’t make the end. The assumption you’re making is that if town misfires now, it won’t later though, which isn’t true. The people more likely to actually clear themselves are actually the inactive ones, not the active ones because active players remain null forever, active players slowly tend to show their true colours.

If you shoot active people for being active you rob them of their chance to become obviously towny and cleared, you also leave the endgame with a bunch of nulls they MUST shoot if they want to seal a win because you never are hard clearing inactive players.

It’s like kind of along the same lines of “if the opponents score a goal how it’s better so they won’t later” in some ways. Just because they’ve scored now doesn’t mean they won’t later in the game, it just means they already got one and can now keep looking for more.

I'm feeling very uncomfortable with miyami and cel sring each other and that's throwing me off; I think miyami looks worse off from the exchange but Cel's posts wrt texas look pretty scummy to me too so wtf? Miyami's posts feel like they're designed to make us feel stupid if we don't shoot cel and I don't really like that.

Oh and ap who are your scum reads? I really enjoy you engaging des from a circus community building perspective but you just wasted two posts on a whole lot of nothing.
