Manifest Destiny

Hi - here's a pretty funny and bad team that is more of a proof of concept than anything else. I do not recommend you use this team to win games, but for some reason it got a couple. I just find it fun to snipe the over-eager HOs that people spam on the OLT ladder. I think the highest I got was 1990-something. It could definitely do 2k, but it's way too inconsistent to hold that. This squad is quite bad into boots and fat. Pretend Garganacl doesn't exist. As an aside, I think this Destiny Bond nonsense is probably even stronger on some chunky non-webs offense team where you are trading favorably into a tera dragonite or kingambit win. I just dont like playing with those pokemon.

Anyway...you use three destiny bond dudes-- :ceruledge::pecharunt::iron valiant: -- and the EZ trading ability of clicking dbond to open up a tera-hungry sweeper that can go 2-for-1 easily and leverage your numbers advantage for the dub. The sets and teras are all super variable. Climbing in OLT is way more about sniping the meta than building water-tight teams; that said, once you stop getting them +15 to +20s, you best be locked in. If you find a way toviably fit 4 destiny bonders onto a single webs team, I will give you a cookie.

Please note that these names are satire. I do not support imperialism.
:araquanid:
"Our" Land (Araquanid) @ Red Card
Ability: Water Bubble
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 200 Def / 52 SpA
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe

- Surf
- Lunge
- Mirror Coat
- Sticky Web

Nothing special. Ribombee is the best webber (like holy crap I can't tell you how many games spider just solo loses), but on this team araqunid is needed. With red card and dropped speed, you can click sticky web into hatterene and it will swap itself out for you. I don't remember the rest of these EVs. I think it lives some hits it seems like it shouldn't, like +2 bleakwind and +6 hydrapple gigadrain. You can get some no-skill OKHOs on turn one into a specs kyurem or whatever. Once the red card is gone, this is a good answer to oppoing ceruledge. Don't think of it like suicide lead every game like you would the Bee.

:ceruledge:
The Alamo (Ceruledge) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Weak Armor
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Sneak
- Bitter Blade
- Swords Dance

I've used Dbond ceruledge for a long time. I think it's a great option vs option vs boots spam. You can come in hard on some otherwise frustrating pokemon for webs like zamazenta, cinderace, or ogerpon. Additionally, destiny bond lets you almost always favorably trade into opposing priority and sometimes wipe out a dondozo. Not very complex. Close combat is an excellent choice if you're facing lots of ting lu or garganacl. Tera ghost, boots, and balloon are other things to play with too.

:iron valiant:
Moral Duty (Iron Valiant) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Destiny Bond
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Moonblast
Another pokemon that you can use any set on. This permutation is for cleaning up vs dragapult, deoxsys, darkrai, zama, and so on. Those fast boots things that are a pain in the butt for webs. You can also go more traditional CM booster SpA, or booster Atk, or lean in to the cheese with taunt or trick room. I prefer speed booster at the moment. I don't think the breaking power of non speed boost sets are needed and they just make you lose harder to the things you already lose to. It's a valiant: it resists sucker punch and is a speedy boi. doesn't really matter.

:pecharunt:
Providence (Pecharunt) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Poison Puppeteer
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Destiny Bond
- Nasty Plot
- Malignant Chain
- Shadow Ball
Cheeky lil spin blocker guy that beats great tusk, poisons things, and is a good point of pressure into stall. Optimally, you may actually want to drop some defense so that some stuff gets a guaranteed OHKO. it's very frustrating when you dbond correctly and still get left at 3%. Tera Normal so that you get a hard punish vs specs dragapult and scarf gholdengo. Very important to keep balloon up until you see the set of an opposing dragonite or gliscor.

:iron treads:
Go West (Iron Treads) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Rock Tomb
- Earthquake
eh whatever. it sets rocks and clicks spin. rock tomb is nice tech into kyurem, dragonite, balloon ghosts, moltres. nice anti cheese move. adamant booster atk so that you dont do negative damage. Booster speed if you see too many deoxys s leads.

:enamorus:
Lady Liberty (Enamorus) @ Metronome
Ability: Contrary
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Substitute
- Superpower

So again, the premise is to use a bunch of destiny bonds to bait out opposing tera and trade favorably, so that you can sweep with tera enamorus in the end game. 90% of games, this is the tera. If not, you're probably on the backfoot, which is bad news bears.

I love this pokemon. Usually, you'll see choice specs enamorus on webs to punish court change. I found that set to be pretty bad into the first few cycles of OLT. Additionally, there is not enough hazard support on this team to run my patented specs tera stellar. I think tera ground is way better for flipping a few matchups and granting you free subs into most landorus, garganacl, gking, bolt. Then you start blasting with metronome. Superpower was tech for stall and balloon kingambit.
  1. Queue at least 3 games at once to hone your focus. If you can't do this, you aren't ready to web
  2. Click webs
  3. Go to your ghost and beat the spinner
  4. click destiny bond to go 2-for 1
  5. do it again
  6. now use enamorus and bluff specs
  7. tera and trade 2-for-1
  8. still lose because your opponent has tera garg
  9. queue another

You'll see there is no defog block. That's OK. defog is a waste of a turn. Go ceruledge and click SD. alternatively, go enam and win with your evasion boost. This team is very hard to use into boots spam. just click if they are darkrai, zama, pult with a slow pivot. not worth raging about how AV mola is broken (but fr it is...). ggs and sorry if I got mad at you (looking at you kingambit noobs)
