Pokémon: Bisharp-Savage
Type:
(Medium)
Base Stats: 90 / 110 / 135 / 40 / 80 / 65 [520 BST] (Large)
Abilities: Bulletproof / Technician // Leaf Guard (Small)
Body Press, Brick Break, Bullet Punch, Bullet Seed, Dynamic Punch, Facade, Foul Play, Grassy Glide, Headbutt, Iron Head, Knock Off, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Poison Jab, Power Whip, Seed Bomb, Superpower, X-Scissor | Branch Poke, Bulldoze, Dig, False Swipe, Feint, Fling, Fury Cutter, Giga Impact, Guillotine, Leafage, Low Sweep, Metal Burst, Metal Claw, Razor Leaf, Retaliate, Reversal, Scratch, Slash, Take Down, Thief, Vine Whip
Flash Cannon, Grass Knot, Steel Beam, Tera Blast, Weather Ball | Absorb, Hyper Beam, Mega Drain
Bulk Up, Curse, Iron Defense, Protect, Recover, Rest, Stealth Rock, Substitute, Synthesis, Thunder Wave | Coaching, Endure, Grassy Terrain, Leer, Mean Look, Metal Sound, Sandstorm, Scary Face, Sleep Talk, Spite, Sunny Day, Torment, Wide Guard
- Drain Punch, Hammer Arm, Low Kick, Focus Blast, Switcheroo, Swords Dance, Taunt, Detect, Shadow Claw, Air Slash | Upper Hand
+ Knock Off, Power Whip, Leaf Blade, Bullet Seed, Grassy Glide, Seed Bomb, Leech Seed | Vine Whip, Branch Poke, Leafage, Mega Drain, Absorb, Grassy Terrain, Razor Leaf
Role Justification: Resident physically defensive guy with a decent spread of utility moves in Knock Off, Thunder Wave, and Stealth Rock, among others (not too dissimilar to Ferrothorn, without the Iron Barbs). Grass/Steel is a very competent defensive typing, which further backs up Bisharp's good all-around bulk, and 110 attack ensures that it's not a complete sitting duck. Setup options with Iron Defense + Body Press or Bulk Up might also exist as bulky wincons too, but are hampered by weak coverage pools. Suffers from a lack of instant, reliable, recovery, since Leech Seed's healing isn't instantaneous - this leaves it rather easily chipped down, which can put it in range to be KOed by guys it would otherwise check. None of its abilities are exceptional either (Bulletproof is strong but not great, and it's not that good at making use of Technician anymore), and its lacking special bulk makes it very exploitable on that front.
Pokémon: Nidoqueen-Volcanic
Type:
(Medium)
Base Stats: 125 / 75 / 100 / 110 / 75 / 55 [540 BST] (Large)

Body Slam, Brick Break, Crunch, Dragon Tail, Drill Run, Dynamic Punch, Earthquake, Facade, Fire Punch, Flare Blitz, Focus Punch, Headbutt, Heat Crash, High Horsepower, Outrage, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Seismic Toss, Stone Edge, Sucker Punch, Super Fang, Superpower, Temper Flare, Throat Chop, Thunder Punch | Aerial Ace, Beat Up, Bite, Bulldoze, Counter, Dig, Double Kick, Fissure, Fling, Fury Cutter, Fury Swipes, Giga Impact, Horn Drill, Iron Tail, Mega Kick, Pay Day, Poison Tail, Rock Smash, Sand Tomb, Scratch, Stomping Tantrum, Strength, Tackle, Take Down, Thief
Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Focus Blast, Ice Beam, Lava Plume, Meteor Beam, Overheat, Power Gem, Shadow Ball, Tera Blast, Thunder, Thunderbolt | Echoed Voice, Ember, Fire Spin, Hyper Beam, Incinerate, Mud Shot, Mud-Slap, Round, Shock Wave, Snore, Uproar
Curse, Disable, Hone Claws, Protect, Reflect, Rest, Roar, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Substitute, Taunt, Will-o-Wisp, Wish | Attract, Charm, Confide, Defense Curl, Double Team, Endure, Flatter, Focus Energy, Follow Me, Growl, Helping Hand, Mimic, Quash, Rain Dance, Sandstorm, Sleep Talk, Sunny Day, Supersonic, Swagger, Tail Whip, Torment
- Barb Barrage, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic Spikes, Detect, Toxic, Blizzard, Surf, Shadow Claw, Hex, Ice Punch, Slack Off, Aqua Tail | Venoshock, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Whirlpool, Poison Fang, Poison Sting, Bubble Beam, Icy Wind
+ Overheat, Lava Plume, Heat Crash, Temper Flare, Will-o-Wisp, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Flare Blitz, Stealth Rock | Ember, Fire Spin, Follow Me
Role Justification: Physically defensive tank that can also function as a pretty competent bulky attacker as well. Fire/Ground works wonders defensively, offering worthwhile resists in exchange for very little weaknesses, and 125/100 physical bulk with Flame Body lets it punish physical attackers with dastardly effectiveness. Has the ability to spread burns with Lava Plume, set up Spikes (or Stealth Rock) for its teammates, and can even pass Wishes to its teammates. It can even go on the offensive with Sheer Force and a very usable special attack stat (and not exactly the worst coverage around to boot!). However, it has no immediate form of recovery - Wish + Protect is fine but takes up two moveslots, rendering it very passive and stuck with a bad case of 4MSS, and its special bulk isn't the greatest thing around, leaving it open for special attackers to pick it off with little effort.
Pokémon: Krookodile-Deep-Sea
Type:
(Medium)
Base Stats: 90 / 120 / 115 / 65 / 80 / 80 [550 BST] (Large)
Abilities: Magic Guard / Wonder Skin // Multiscale (Small)
Aqua Cutter, Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Body Slam, Brick Break, Ceaseless Edge, Crunch, Double-Edge, Dragon Claw, Dragon Tail, Endeavor, Facade, Focus Punch, Foul Play, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Lash Out, Liquidation, Power Trip, Scale Shot, Superpower, Throat Chop, Waterfall | Aerial Ace, Bite, Breaking Swipe, Counter, Dive, Fling, Giga Impact, Take Down, Thief, Thrash
Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Hydro Pump, Sludge Bomb, Surf, Tera Blast, Weather Ball | Bubble Beam, Hyper Beam, Snarl, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Whirlpool
Bulk Up, Curse, Encore, Parting Shot, Protect, Rest, Substitute, Switcheroo, Taunt | Aqua Ring, Endure, Helping Hand, Leer, Rain Dance, Scary Face, Sleep Talk, Spite, Sunny Day, Swagger, Torment
- Eruption, Fiery Wrath, Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Fire Lash, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Inferno, Magma Storm, Memento, Overheat, Will-o-Wisp | Burning Jealousy, Ember, Fire Spin, Incinerate
+ Aqua Cutter, Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Bulk Up, Ceaseless Edge, Hydro Pump, Liquidation, Superpower, Surf, Waterfall | Aqua Ring, Bubble Beam, Dive, Rain Dance, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Whirlpool
Role Justification: More or less a pretty competent midrange option. Movepool is surprisingly deep, with a bevy of options to pull from (Parting Shot, Encore, Taunt, Knock Off, Ceaseless Edge), and with a strong enough defensive typing, it can generally make the most out of them. Alternatively, if you so desire, Bulk Up variants exist and can serve as functional late-game wincons with powerful STABs and strong coverage options. That said, it's not especially fast, which might pose a pretty severe problem in the future (this in tandem with its rather weak special bulk means that it bricks into Corviknight and Ogerpon way too easily). In addition, while its attack stat is decent enough, none of its STABs are particularly strong (yes, even Knock Off), which means that even with Magic Guard + Life Orb to back it up, it can potentially fall short of certain KOes.
Pokémon: Ogerpon-Serpentine
Type:
(Medium)
Base Stats: 120 / 110 / 70 / 105 / 105 / 90 [600 BST] (Large)
Abilities: Trace (Small)
Dragon Claw, Dragon Tail, Facade, Knock Off, Lash Out, Outrage, Rapid Spin, Spirit Break, Superpower, U-Turn | Astonish, Breaking Swipe, Bulldoze, Dragon Rush, False Swipe, Fling, Giga Impact, Quick Attack, Retaliate, Slam, Take Down
Dazzling Gleam, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Draining Kiss, Fleur Cannon, Hex, Tera Blast, Weather Ball, Weather Ball | Confusion, Disarming Voice, Hyper Beam, Icy Wind
Curse, Disable, Glare, Protect, Reflect, Rest, Substitute, Wish | Baby-Doll Eyes, Charm, Confuse Ray, Dragon Cheer, Endure, Focus Energy, Follow Me, Gravity, Growth, Helping Hand, Imprison, Magic Room, Metronome, Misty Terrain, Scary Face, Sleep Talk, Spite
- Baton Pass, Destiny Bond, Night Shade, Perish Song, Poltergeist, Rock Tomb, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Taunt, Throat Chop, Thunder Wave, Trick, Trick Room, Will-o-Wisp | Phantom Force
+ Draco Meteor, Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail, Glare, Outrage, Rapid Spin, Spirit Break, Superpower, Wish | Breaking Swipe, Bulldoze, Confusion, Dragon Cheer, Dragon Rush
Role Justification: Yet another special wall... or is it? Fairy/Dragon is a pretty interesting typing that hasn't really been seen much (only on Mega Altaria, and even then only in Generations 6 and 7), and here it works pretty well. Despite primarily being intended as a special wall, it has quite a bit it can do, be it speed control with Glare, supporting its team with Wish and Spirit Break, or providing hazard removal in the form of Rapid Spin. Trace lets it snag an opponent's ability for itself and is significantly more immediate compared to its base's Wandering Spirit. Suffers from rather exploitable physical bulk leaving it open for the likes of Bisharp to pick it off, as well as a lack of reliable recovery, since Wish is fine, sure, but it can also be played around quite easily.
Pokémon: Kingdra-Corrupted
Type:
(Medium)
Base Stats: 110 / 110 / 80 / 95 / 95 / 60 [550 BST] (Large)
Abilities: Anger Shell / Heatproof // Regenerator (Small)
Body Slam, Double-Edge, Dragon Hammer, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Facade, Gunk Shot, Knock Off, Liquidation, Outrage, Poison Jab, Scale Shot | Breaking Swipe, Dragon Rush, Flail, Giga Impact, Poison Sting, Poison Tail, Take Down
Clear Smog, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Hydro Pump, Sludge Bomb, Tera Blast, Weather Ball | Acid Spray, Dragon Breath, Hyper Beam, Icy Wind, Swift, Twister, Venoshock
Coil, Glare, Protect, Recover, Rest, Substitute, Toxic | Dragon Cheer, Endure, Focus Energy, Leer, Rain Dance, Scary Face, Sleep Talk, Smokescreen, Splash, Sunny Day, Yawn
- Agility, Aqua Jet, Blizzard, Disable, Dragon Dance, Flip Turn, Ice Beam, Scald, Surf, Waterfall, Wave Crash | Aurora Beam, Bubble Beam, Chilling Water, Muddy Water, Snowscape, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Whirlpool
+ Coil, Earthquake, Glare, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Recover, Toxic | Acid Spray, Poison Sting, Poison Tail, Sunny Day, Venoshock
Role Justification: Bulky sweeper that can double as a potential wincon in the lategame. Its stats don't seem exceptionally great at first, but 110/80/95 defenses are plenty usable, and Poison/Dragon carries some nice resists in the meta. Coil lets it make the most out of Gunk Shot and Dragon Rush as STABs, with Earthquake as strong coverage (or Knock Off for item manipulation) to back it up. Meanwhile, Regenerator and Recover ensure that it can stick around for a long time throughout a match, ensuring that it has plenty of setup opportunities throughout a game. However, it is extremely slow, being easily outpaced by the vast majority of the meta, and its typing can also fall short defensively in certain matchups.
