I honestly don't know what to say. One month ago I was in a really dark place, wanting to quit everything but my friends told me to stay around for a little longer and it paid off. I never even dreamed of winning Grand Slam cause I thought that I need a lot of experience in all those tiers to make it far but in the end I managed to pull through thanks to amazing people who built me teams and tested with me, so they deserve love as well!

Kate My ubers support through the entire run. I went 4-0 in Ubers thanks to your amazing teams. Your style fit mine perfectly and I really liked the sweet techs like Dazzling Gleam Arceus or Boots Scale Shot Koraidon the most. Thank you so much <3

You also helped me in PU for Semis and Finals which meant a lot cause your teambuilding style is just different and I really love your teams and you as a person. Also, encouraging me through my entire run and also giving some very valuable insight was amazing. The RU teams were also cool, even though I only played one of them x) Thank you a ton <3

Dave Without you, I probably would have left not just smogon but Pokémon overall already. Your encouragement is really from another planet. I am glad I got to talk with you cause otherwise I would have fallen very deep. You are one of the greatest people I know and I am also happy that I can trust you with everything. You are the best <3


I also want to thank everybody who supported me in this journey. You made the time here truly special. I'll probably play SCL to make it up for Dave and after that we will see how I feel. It also really helped that I took a break from OLT (I played like 50 games total). I will only play tournaments from now on where I can give 100% AND if I feel like it. It does not make sense to force myself to play a tour if I'm not in the mood for it. So, I will play way less than before but probably not 0, looking forward to SCL and I'll see you all around, take care :D
 
congrats to michael, glad you've cemented yourself as one of the best and across multiple tournaments too, played very well this series. picking lc after losing g3 is also a hilarious move, you have to admire the confidence. gonna say it again but colin had an incredibly impressive run. it can be a little uphill going against one of the greats and that lc game could go either way, dropping like one or two games up to this point against really tough competition is frankly insane and although I thought I saw an upwards trend when you started cooking me with unmons in LCPL tests for SS LC I'm not gonna pretend like I saw this coming.

Dave michael actually told me in PM that he doesn't care about smogon tiers anymore and is playing vgc exclusively. probably don't want to retain him... just friendly advice
 
congrats ik what it takes to win that tournament the dedication and mental strength u gotta have to play all the opens and all the bo5‘s especially when youre down in a series is mad impressive. 3rd indiv trophy is also crazy work. colin dont let ur head down, reaching finals in this tournaments is something you can b proud of in a pokemon trainer career and you always gotta lose first in order to win the next. loved to watch the series ggs to both
 
congrats michael! i've known you for some time now and this level of success is honestly not a surprise anymore, you're just that fantastic of a player. that can often create huge expectations from you, so making sure you're balancing everything out will be vital, in terms of the enjoyment you'll be getting out of smogon tours, and the game in general
