After four weeks of big and intense competition and frustration spent on the ladder, here we are to the playoffs of the eleventh Official Ladder Tournament. There's been a lot of things going on over the last four cycles, so let's give everyone a show in playoffs too! The competition will be fierce and we all hope we'll get to see interesting and high-level SV OU battles between you all.

This playoff bracket will start as a swiss tournament. As such, you continue playing in this stage until you have won or lost three matches in the playoffs stage.

Remember, all matches are to be played in a BEST OF THREE format, and all standard SV OU rules apply.

Finally, before going into the pairings, we'd like to thank the PS Staff, from the owners to the moderators, for making the ladder phase of the tournament possible and smoother in its running. We appreciate your help and support, and a special thanks to pre and Mia for making this a lot better. Now, without further ado...

A few miscellaneous facts about the qualification phase...

Congratulations to heileone, ima, leng loi, Let's Rumble Shall We, Light DN, MRH1106, Unstoppable1, and zS on their first qualification!
Meanwhile, SoulWind caught up Empo at 9 total qualifications.
But he's not the only OLT veteran, we also have Tace, Storm Zone, Giannis, Ewin, and Vert all sitting at 4 qualifications or more!

SoulWind and xavgb are the only two past winners to have qualified this year, with xav competing for a back-to-back win!

Storm Zone is sitting at 2131 average ELO and 1.17 average attempt, which means he always qualified on his first attempt except once in 6 qualifications.
This is the 8th time in a row that Tace qualifies for swiss... out of 8 total participations. SoulWind's qualification streak is at 6.

15/32 participants in swiss this year were also qualified in 2024.
Among them, 7 also qualified in 2023 and have thus qualified for all OLTs featuring SV OU: Ewin, hellom, SoulWind, Storm Zone, SupaGmoney, Tace, and Vert.

Hello everyone, and as is tradition, I'm going to make predictions based on what I saw during these four weeks of competitions. Yes, I watched a lot of matches, and I even write the names of each player I watched.

I didn't make this for cycle 1, but I did for cycles 2 / 3 / 4, which makes about 150 for cycle 1 | 180 games (cycle 2) | 209 in cycle 3 | 161 games in cycle 4 | = 700 matches.

I'll try to be objective based on what I saw. I'm absolutely not OU expert.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank eachs participants because there are only 32 spots in the end out of hundreds.

Soulwind vs Clean (45/55) SoulWind has always been an excellent player, but for me, clean is at least one of the top 5 sv ou players, so im betting on him here

Ima vs Light (60/40) Ima is a well-known player with much more experience, but im going to root for light here, ladder hero, and he'll get more recognition by winning

Unstoppable vs MRH (50/50) Idk both of them, ive faced both of them on the ladder, but its not enough to say who's better

Typhlosion48 vs Fusien (30/70) OUPL CHAMPION / OST CHAMPION

Ewin vs Hellom (45/55) Im very doubtful here, keeping in mind that Ewin beat Hellom last year, but i believe that this year Hellom will win. I also didnt follow Ewin's games as much as i followed Hellom's, but ik that both are very good. It will be one of the HL (rooting for my bro Hellom)

Vert vs JJ09lie (60/40) VERT.

Lets rumble vs Dasmer (50/50) Unfortunately, i didnt follow them enough to give an opinion here

Supa vs Xavgb (30/70) Stresh is the best sv ou player currently, and ive never seen supag using anything other than stall, honestly, i'd be surprised if SupaG won, but vs Stresh, i think its unlikely

Bloody vs Gray (50/50) Unfortunately, i didnt follow them enough to give an opinion here²

Some predictions of matchups that I find interesting, and I at least know something about the players:

Tace vs zS: arguably my favorite pairing this round. zS is in top-notch form right now, with a solid SPL performance followed by an even stronger and hotter 6-0 WCoP, so it's not a surprise that he's considered one of the best right now. I rate Tace very high in my books, and I enjoy watching him play and his style. I loved what he was using during OLT, so bolding him here out of bias and what I saw during the ladder grind. But this is very tight and could go either way, excited to watch it.

leng loi vs 3d: can't bold this simply because I feel like it's a 50/50. leng loi persevered every cycle, qualifying in cycle 4 without the headache of playing in the last hour. Their builds always had an interesting spin to them, so I want to give them the edge in the team builder. 3d skipped cycle 3 out of sickness and decided that he was getting serious for the 4th cycle, and indeed qualified comfortably. He reached finals in this year's Smogtour, so definitely a strong contender. Seems like an obvious 3d bold, but this is SV OU, so I'll keep an open mind about it.

Storm Zone vs crying: a crazy pairing, literally speaking. Nobody can predict who's bringing what, where, and how, so really, don't even try to think logically here. Storm Zone is always a strong pairing against anyone, and his creativity and versatility make him very hard to counter. He made it into Smogtour playoffs and had a respectable 7-5 WCoP, so he's confident and looking solid. But if fighting fire with fire was a pairing, it would be this one. crying is always crushing the think-out-of-the-box agenda, maybe a little too far, making her insanely unpredictable. But her WCoP was rough, and I feel like too much creativity backfires quite frequently, so I have to give an edge to SZ here.

SoulWind vs clean: solid pairing in r1. SW is always a trophy contender, having won OLT already, so he's definitely familiar with how to get up there. clean was the other finalist in last year's OLT, so he also knows the way and does feel motivated to live up to the expectations per his OLT thread post. The hunger + this being SV OU makes me bold him here, but again, this is a tough r1 mu that can set the tone for the rest of this tour.

ima vs Light DN: ima is coming from a Smogtour playoffs and a neutral WCoP, but with a crazy comeback during the last hours of cycle 4, getting the job done spectacularly in the last minutes of the cycle. From what I can gather from the data, this is Light's first playoff appearance (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm bad at this), so this will be a tough challenge. He's a ladder hero if I understood correctly, and transitioning from ladder to tours is always tricky, so obviously bolding ima (8-3 in snake).

Ewin vs hellom: another favorite of mine that I would love to catch live (post your schedule, please). Ewin comes from two good runs in SPL and WCoP, and overall, is considered really good and a difficult mu. And he has the German gene, so he can manifest it and just 2-0 for the sake of it. hellom needs no introduction. He exploded in 2024, putting an insane record of 21-7 in team tours, and I don't want to bother myself with individuals appearances. If he wants to win, he'll do it as if it's another business day. Funnily enough, they faced each other in last year's OLT Top 16, with Ewin winning that exchange (he stalled twice, with the same team. Sorry, you had to be exposed). The two of them are dear to me, so I won't bold and just enjoy it.
