Smogon Champions League V - Commencement Thread

a little late but I wanted to put some light on people that I think absolutely deserve to be drafted

kyuss : His style and approach to this game is very fresh, and his ingame play is super solid, with him being able to identify + execute tough lines and such. He puts in a lot of effort every week, and adds to the team chemistry with his fun presence. A manager's dream from all aspects. I believe him to be one of the mainers who will not fall behind in an official tournament pool, and someone that has done everything in their power to showcase why they should be drafted.

Drud - He has worked on refining his play even more, and he's played in a lot of high pressure situations; think he's very well equipped to perform at the big stage. Very oldschool when it comes to his approach, lots of effort and practice to polish his prep every week, and his knowledge in multiple tiers makes him a great option as a lower tier sub / support.

LOOR - His stock seems to have gone down in the public eye for some unknown reason, but what he brings to the table is still legit. A 3-0 in wcop (in spirit) and his involvement in keeping up with multiple lower tiers make him a very good option as a sub for every team. This time in particular, he's very motivated to do well and pull his weight.




As for myself, Id prefer to be a sub this time around. New + important phase irl makes it difficult for me to commit to putting in the time that I would need to as a starter, at the very least for the first few weeks (This has been my response to whoever reached out so far, and is not in any way an attempt to pricefix. Just a byproduct of irl as mentioned)
 
Seconding the above user regarding Drud . I fought Drud several times this year, including in Wcop and despite often being a little unlucky, he always gets to put a fight and is able to play many Tiers at highest level. Definetely someone who will bring plenty of wins if drafted.

While I am at it, will briefly endorse lolebruh yo cho and tofa too. 2 of them I just met this year the other has been a great friend of mine for some time already. Just like Leni said, all 3 were a great presence on Team Europe and it was a pleassure sharing the team with them. Support, tests and good building is guaranteed with these players. 3K for either of them would be a very viable investment.
